On the day I visited, the special was the sweet heat chicken sandwich, which consists of the fried chick'n (I always say chick'n if it's not actually chicken) patty with sweet heat aioli, hot pepper provo, pickled jalas, with sufficient greens on a nice Frenchie bun. As a frequent meat eater, this sando surprised me in the best ways possible. It had a nice kick without having to run to the water fountain/drinking fountain/bubbler. The chick'n had the right texture and crunch on the outside, fulfilling moisture and juiciness on the inside. The woman at the window taking orders was hustling as it was a warm PDX weekend evening with a good crowd but she did not make you feel rushed. It took less than 15mins from order to food in face. Although there was a lot of elements, sauces and stuffs, on the dish nothing really shines through and the flavor was on the bland side.
