    Mozzarella Sticks

If you're curious about vegan food, I highly recommend The Wagon. I've had a lot of vegan food for years, a lot bad, but The Wagon knows how to properly cook. The burger is juicy, filled with flavor, and not too spicy. The blue cheese tastes like blue cheese, the chicken tastes like chicken. The mozzarella sticks tastes like mozzarella. The flavors are totally captured, and made well. Service is friendly, but the area is pretty busy so make sure you grab a spot quickly if you plan to stay.

    Mexican Pizza

Wow!! Such friendly staff and wonderful food! I got a Mexican pizza that was delicious! I also grabbed a burrito to go for later and I know it won't disappoint! We were able to eat indoors in the cute French Quarter. I highly recommend stopping by The Wagon and can't wait to go back!

    Sweet Heat Chick'n Sandwich.
    Sunil S.

Upfront Tip: Always take a look at the special before minding the other menu options. On the day I visited, the special was the sweet heat chicken sandwich, which consists of the fried chick'n (I always say chick'n if it's not actually chicken) patty with sweet heat aioli, hot pepper provo, pickled jalas, with sufficient greens on a nice Frenchie bun. As a frequent meat eater, this sando surprised me in the best ways possible. It had a nice kick without having to run to the water fountain/drinking fountain/bubbler. The chick'n had the right texture and crunch on the outside, fulfilling moisture and juiciness on the inside. The woman at the window taking orders was hustling as it was a warm PDX weekend evening with a good crowd but she did not make you feel rushed. It took less than 15mins from order to food in face. I would love to go back and have the same special again. Perhaps it is time to start a petition to get it permanently on the menu... :pause: "A petition?" you ask. Well, yeah. "But you have only been here once,..." And that one time was tasty enough that I want it again, and again! "Fair enough, when are you going back?" Soon! Ya coming??!! :)

Being a plant-based cart, they offer comfort foods that hit your craving spot sans the grease and feeling like you've been hit by a truckload of sleepiness afterwards. The Totochos was prepared on the spot, which took awhile (25+ mins), with fresh ingredients. Interestingly, the tater tots were still a mix of crispy and mushy. Although there was a lot of elements, sauces and stuffs, on the dish nothing really shines through and the flavor was on the bland side. Still, it's interesting to try and I certainly didn't feel guilty inhaling half of the full size portion after a couple of beers. Super friendly people so go check them out.

*Amazing food - quality ingredients, great flavor, good quantity, "meaty" burgers ;) try them all~ *Warm, friendly customer service by the passionate vegan owners - they eat what they make! *Easy parking, plenty of seating, cool space to wander, walkable neighborhood for post-food digestion *Gotta love supporting a cool small business :) take a non-vegan friend and have fun broadening their experience!

AMAZING VEGAN BURGERS!!! This place is a hidden gem. The burgers were so good you could easily fake out your non-vegan friends. Several different "burgers". Wife had the Ono- a Hawaiian-teriyaki style, I had the "pig out" (vegan bacon, slaw!!!). We both wanted to order another. Coming back this weekend!!!

    Pig Out Burger

First time having an impossible burger. The Pig Out burger was really good! I'd definitely order again. Bonus praise: the ketchup container rolled down a flight of stairs without opening! Very thankful for the strong lid! Lol

I have never had a vegan burger that had everything I wanted on it until now. Cannot believe how good it was and not so greasy! I feel like a lot of vegan places around PDX run greasy or just heavy, but this place, despite it being vegan junk food, doesn't weigh me down like it! Flavors were so good, everything was cooked well, crispy and flavorful! I will be coming back

This is a stunning burger…read more I have come here an embarrassing amount of times since moving back to Portland. The first time I came alone, just a little hungry and a lot broke. So I got the $6 little pleasure burger. A simple, single patty smash burger. It's everything a McDonald's burger wishes it could be - beefy and drippy, a squishy, slightly sweet bun, oozing hot grease without being heavy, lacy and crisp edges, and held together with the right amount of American cheese. It was the perfect amount for that day. Then I returned with my date. Twice. And he brought his coworkers for lunch because he liked it so much. I have had the western and the mushroom burger since, as well as the parm and chive waffle fries. They have nuggets and I'm inclined to believe they're great. The staff is great, it's a small team and they're all there every single day. They care about their product and your experience. The space is a simple counter, not good for large groups. It should be noted that even though their burgers would be great with a beer, they don't seem to have a liquor license! So don't expect an IPA with that shroom burger. Maybe someday!

There's also plenty of seating outside and covered tent seating. It took about 12-15 minutes for the food to be served which was ideal. IMO. This BBQ is Kansas City style, so the sauce is a bit sweeter. We got the brisket, the chicken wings, and sides. We couldn't decide if on the sauce for the wings, so we got all 3 on the side. The Alabama white sauce was A+ The brisket was perfectly tender. It had great flavor and marbling. The wings are full wings with the drummette attached. That's the way to do it! They are smoked and then fried. They got the crisp just right. Let's talk about sides! We got the collard greens, coleslaw, and baked beans. They were all FANTASTIC! The coleslaw is a vinegar coleslaw, which I love. It wasn't the sweet mayonnaise style that most people don't enjoy. It was so good! The collard greens were perfectly flavored and tender! I couldn't have done better myself. The beans were sweet but also savory. Not super sweet, which makes me happy. Very well balanced. The server was super friendly and nice. She explained everything to us and made sure we were happy. They have a bar with various beers. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Very casual but perfect for BBQ.
