The Veranda in Fallbrook is such a beautiful spot tucked inside the Grand Tradition Estate. The location and ambiance are honestly what make it special, peaceful views, lush gardens, and a relaxed outdoor setting. The patio overlooks the water and greenery, which makes brunch or lunch feel extra calm. I definitely recommend calling ahead or booking through OpenTable since hours and days can vary with private events, and reservations help. The menu has something for everyone, from brunch favorites to fresh California-style dishes like fish tacos, paninis, burgers, and such. I like to try something new when I dine and I've enjoyed everything I've ordered. One of the best parts is taking time to walk the property after you eat. The estate grounds and gardens are beautiful and really add to the whole entire experience.

Wonderful brunch experience Service and food were excellent , the grounds are amazing to walk around after you are done eating .

Three of my friends and I spent an early afternoon at the Veranda Restaurant celebrating my friend's birthday! The atmosphere was heavenly, the food delicious and the service top notch!

Veranda didn't exist when my wife and I got married at Grand Tradition back in 2004. Decided to enjoy a brunch at Veranda on the weekend of our 20th wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint. Obviously, the scenery was fantastic. Sitting on the back porch of the main facility, looking over the heart shaped lake and gazebo where we said our vows 20yrs ago. Good was also great. My wife ordered the French toast, crispy yet soft bread with a creamy marscapone and blueberries. I ordered the burger even though it was only 10a. The homemade chips were delicious and the bbq sauce and bacon combo on the burger was the perfect of salty and sweet. Staff was friendly and professional, fast and responsive. Never felt pressure to hurry and they allowed us to enjoy our food and our walk down memory lane. Weather was perfect, staff was great (thanks Karina!), food was delicious and was priced very well! Highly recommend!

Lovely place. Whenever I can get a reservation around lunch time I try and book this place. It's so beautiful to have lunch here and walk around the gardens. Already made reservations for next month!

I used to work here before they had this restaurant, and so of course I had to come back and try their food out and boy was I amazed and blown away!! It was all so good I was only able to get a picture of the dessert But everything was delicious! The dessert was the captain crunch bread pudding with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and captain crunch crumbs on top! It wasn't too sweet, and was full of flavor! Idk if they still have it, but I hope they do! The service was amazing' so attentive and friendly. It's mostly like a tea house vibe, fancy/casual. It's a gorgeous view from the balcony overlooking the heart lake. Definitely recommend it!

Another great brunch at the Veranda at the Grand Tradition. We love this place! It really is a special treat. The manicured ground, friendly and attentive wait staff, and always delicious food. This place has the best of everything, and always amazes us at the end how reasonable the check is! We look forward to our next visit!

Let me start off by saying, the setting and backdrop of this restaurant is nothing short of spectacular. Such a great place to take pictures and enjoy a serene walk around the pond. The staff was very friendly, even though we walked in and didn't have a reservation. Nor were we dressed for the occasion. I love that they give you a little starter plate of fresh fruit and veggies - it was so nice! We came for birthday dessert, and was not disappointed! Ordered the lemon berry mascarpone cake, and the flourless chocolate torte and wow... absolutely delicious. I couldn't decide which one I enjoyed more. The flourless chocolate cake was perfectly chocolate-y, and the lemon cake was super moist, the right amount of lemon-y, and not too sweet. We didn't order any other food items, but based on the tables around the burger and salads looked pretty tasty! If you're in the area, I would definitely check this place out!

My friends and I came here in a Thursday around 11am and were thoroughly impressed. The grounds here are just lovely! The food was great and all 5 of us are eager to come back. Service was wonderful and prompt. The ambiance on the patio with the view of the lake was perfect. Would definitely recommend dining here!

Amazing view, amazing French Toast (coated with Captain Crunch!) and quite possibly the best sandwich I've ever had: the prime rib.

We ordered a few appetizers, and a variety of salads, entrees and pizza. Everything was delicious, but my favorite was the pickle pizza, ordered on a cauliflower crust. It was so yummy with bursts of flavor and crunch in every bite. Gavin was our server, and he's the real deal. He knows his craft. He's personable, friendly, helpful, funny and efficient. He knew what we needed before we asked. Not sure if he's related to the owner? Regardless, he is a major asset to the restaurant. His service was even better than the food. (And the food was fabulous!) The food presentation was great, but apparently we ate it all too fast to get any photos. Oops. It's super hot out today, and our spot in the restaurant was a bit warm. The staff brought extra fans to cool us down. So thoughtful, and definitely going above and beyond! The place is pretty unassuming from the outside. It's not fancy, just looks like an old house. But give it a try and be blown away. All 10 of us were pretty impressed. Thank you Gavin for the excellent service, and hats off to the chef for the delicious meals.

We stopped in for a Sunday dinner, my son has celiacs so we needed a solid gluten free option and we found one, a pepperoni pizza on a cauliflower crust. Pizza was done every well and the crust had some crunch, but was very flavorful. My wife and I started with the Brussels sprouts, fried with bacon, cheese and balsamic, very tasty and huge for an appetizer. We followed that with a Fallbrook burger (avocado of course) and a Greek Salad. Burger was excellent and the fries were perfect. The Greek salad was nice, a little over dressed for me, but plenty of cheese and olives. The service was very good and the place has in door and out door seating. Definitely worth a stop, I am looking forward to trying some of the dinner options soon!

I ordered a beef chimichanga with rice, and it was perfectly fried, golden, and satisfyingly crunchy on the outside, with a rich, savory filling inside. Why not just let people know that it's Denny's? Well, I guess it's because they have a no- take out policy, so I actually had to order the food (which was freaking amazing, btw!) and have it delivered to somewhere nearby to get it. The reason I didn't have it delivered to my house is I was already out there and needed to pick up some groceries anyway and they were about to close (which is weird considering Denny's never closes). I didn't think I could make it back to my house before them and I just wanted to pick it up from the restaurant. But they only deliver!? Oh! And you can't pay at the Denny's take out counter, even though it's being cooked in their kitchen they only take online payments. Again, the weirdest idea for a restaurant ever. Now, the food is unreal. It's next level heart attack inducing giant hamburger patties. Like some of the biggest I've ever seen. But I was starving from doing super carb restricted Keto all day and needed to eat! I would've happily given them 5 but driving around Main Street looking for a restaurant hidden inside another restaurant was super irritating.
