This is a stunning burger…read more I have come here an embarrassing amount of times since moving back to Portland. The first time I came alone, just a little hungry and a lot broke. So I got the $6 little pleasure burger. A simple, single patty smash burger. It's everything a McDonald's burger wishes it could be - beefy and drippy, a squishy, slightly sweet bun, oozing hot grease without being heavy, lacy and crisp edges, and held together with the right amount of American cheese. It was the perfect amount for that day. Then I returned with my date. Twice. And he brought his coworkers for lunch because he liked it so much. I have had the western and the mushroom burger since, as well as the parm and chive waffle fries. They have nuggets and I'm inclined to believe they're great. The staff is great, it's a small team and they're all there every single day. They care about their product and your experience. The space is a simple counter, not good for large groups. It should be noted that even though their burgers would be great with a beer, they don't seem to have a liquor license! So don't expect an IPA with that shroom burger. Maybe someday!

The burger was delicious though given a choice, I recommend the mushroom Swiss. Service is always helpful and efficient.

Before Facebook could refresh the screen, I was sure too quickly Google search the brewery. I went onto their website as I was eager to get my hands on a case. I reached out and was immediately contacted by Tav at Binary Brewing. He put me in contact with his guy Josh, who was working with their distributor to deliver this particular beer down to southern Oregon so my parents could pick it up for me. The distributor had issues getting the case down, but the folks at Binary Brewing kept in contact with me and continued to attempt delivery. After a second failed attempt by their distributor, Josh stepped up and delivered it down to Beerworks in Medford himself. I was able to enjoy the beer right as the newest book was released. I'm look forward to making my way up to Beaverton at some point and thank them both in person. Cheers to Tav, Josh & Binary Brewing, Co.

There are a variety of beers to suit different tastes and you can always do a flight of 5 if you can't decide. I liked their Saison. I feel like they have quite a variety of events too, from drink/draw, D&D and Magic. They also tend to be quieter than the other breweries near by which is a plus for me. Food is run by Teriyaki Moto which has a great cole slaw and an impossible burger!

She has full situational awareness that she carries with her throughout said days and it shows. She need not be smiling at all time, because her sincerity is her charm. For the past few months or possibly more, there is a server/closing-manager (male Caucasian, glasses, ponytail) who only reluctantly provides the HH menu. About two months ago, I asked when HH started, and he said in 7 minutes (i.e., it was 9:53pm). I asked how much I'd save on the beer I was contemplating if I waited for 7 minutes, and he said a dollar or two, so I told him I'd wait until then to place my order. It seemed like a pretty light day, yet he took a full 20+ minutes to come take our order -- it felt like he was punishing me. Last night, it was 10:10pm and I asked if there was a HH menu. He said "not yet." I thought he meant that they hadn't yet been published, but when I went to the bar to say hi to someone I know, I saw a HH menu already on the bar. I'd already ordered off the regular menu, and chose to not change to something on the HH hour just to avoid the conflict. I have no idea what is inspiring this behavior. Perhaps people who order off HH menus don't tip well? In any case, this new HH attitude has definitely dampened my enthusiasm for Fireside. Which is sad since it still has a great tap list and menu.
