'm pretty sure I even saw a guy on a UTV delivering delivering fresh lettuce while I was there! It doesn't get much fresher than that. Easily the best burger food truck! It was pretty slow on a Saturday since it was after the lunch hour. Plenty of seating outside since it's on someone's land kind of thing. Staff is chill and all is fresh to order. Burger and fries got all the right flavor. Fries could be a little bit more crispy. But you'll be satisfied at the end of your meal. I came to Hillsboro to visit family and friends and one of them recommended we go here. The first thing I noticed was how welcoming they are! The food is amazing too, I had a single patty cheeseburger which comes with tomato, lettuce, ketchup, mayo, mustard, and bread & butter pickles! Follow the signs to the greenhouse and keep going. The bright yellow truck is parked but now they have a permanent awning, and even indoor seating in the greenhouse next door for rainy days. On this bright sunny Saturday it was so fun to see a lot of families enjoying a picnic. Now the food is amazing!! For $13, The People's Meal, you get a half pound cheese burger with all the toppings, hand cut fries, brownie or cookie and a cup of kool-aid! Talk about a hidden gem! This food truck of yummy delights is smack dab in the middle of a huge cluster of greenhouses right on the edge of Reed's Crossing. Maps will take you to the cluster, then look for the sandwich board at the driveway entrance. Shoot enough about the location! The menu is limited to combos of burgers which is surely why everything is so good. Mat has wisely chosen to focus on selling the best burger, and he has hit the jackpot here. I had the 50/50 burger with the works plus bacon and the french fries. That 1/2-lb. burger was one of the best I have had in this area if not anywhere. Juicy 100% all beef patties, perfectly grilled. If you are going for a burger, you want one you can really sink your teeth into. I could hardly get it into my mouth, it was so substantial. Nice soft bun with perfect balance of ingredients. Now, whatever you do, don't skip the fries. I always hunt for the skinny extra-crunchy fry treasures in a fry batch no matter where I eat them. Imagine an entire order that is nothing but those crispy delights, and you have fries from Bumper. Something in between McD's and shoestrings, these fries are like my fantasy of the best fries coming to life! They are so darn delicious, the leftovers didn't even make it through the 20-minute drive home. I snarfed those babies down. The fries portion is huge. Good luck getting any home though! We are huge fans of Bumper Burgers ever since they first parked off of Cornell near the 1st nursery! Owner was always friendly, accommodating with the kids burger to where he eventually named the kids burger based off his neighbors kid, Carter (plain cheeseburger no frills), we order it every time for our son. Pimento cheese is a must on the burgers and lately, I've been digging their veggie burger. They basically smash a falafel and crisp it up to perfection. The prices are what drew us in but the quality, taste, and customer service is what keeps us coming back. How can you say no to a filling dinner around $20 for a fam of 3! Easily my top parking lot burger experience. Make sure to stay on top of their website to know where they're going to be, they're a food truck so don't expect anything fancy. They are very casual. They also have very humorous things decorating their truck ( check out the wanted dog ad). The staff ( possibly owner ) has a lot of fun and makes it feel like an amazing experience. If you've ever seen the movie "Chef" it is very similar to that experience. The food is made with a lot of passion, and it shows. The price point is amazing. It's easily the best deal you can get on any burgers around here, and they are amazing! You get top quality lettuce, tomatoes, great pickles, and of course the beef and bun are top notch. Many competitors charge twice the price for a lesser burger. I have a suspicion the owner is doing this out of passion and love and not looking to make a huge profit because I don't know how they keep the prices so low. The fries are crispy and very addicting. Try not to over eat on these, it's very easy to do so. My only regret in discovering this place is the damage it's going to do to my arteries. Got the people's meal. They ran out of koolaid so the bumper burger gentlemen asked me if I wanted refund for the drink portion or supplement with other items. The workers were super friendly and upbeat even for 30 mins before closing. Really helps the vibe and mood when first thing is a great atmosphere. The burger looks and tastes very homemade which is amazing. Also the fries are super crispy, seasoned and good. The cookie was also delicious. I'm amazed that I got all of that for about $10. There was something so nostalgic about the burger even though this was my first time eating it. The balance of crispy lettuce and onion with the melted cheesy patty was perfection. This place is so good! It was my 2nd time visiting this place and I got the 50/50 burger w pimento cheese which is absolutely delicious. Plus fries. I live in Beaverton and the 10min drive out there is actually kinda nice as it's location is in a more rural part of town with a nursery surrounding it so there's fields of flowers growing all around. I much prefer that to being in the hustle and bustle of things tbh. The price point is a huge plus and so much better quality than any fast food place.
