We finally had an opportunity to try Killer Burger. Firstly, the welcome was hearty and inviting. They were patient and helpful with questions about their burgers and sauces. This is an order at the counter; they bring it to your table. The house sauce was a little lacking for me as it came across more like ketchup only, but hey-o, I like a mayo/ketchup with a tiny bit of mustard sauce. I'm a pickle gal and LOVED their pickles. They came around to check on us midway through our meal. That was a nice touch, considering this isn't a sit-down restaurant, and elevated the experience. Ordered online for pickup, as I wasn't feeling like going to a restaurant but was craving for a burger. I ordered a peanut butter burger and a classic, both with home sauce on the side, so the sandwiches didn't get too saggy as I bring them home. But unfortunately, to my surprise, there was no home sauce in the bag or anywhere in the order. Came to visit the hometown this past weekend and was looking for a late dinner. Killer Burger has been a staple local burger chain that I enjoy going to, every location having a different experience from one another, but the Cedar Hills location is one of my favourites. Service is friendly, and food comes out at a reasonable time. My friend and I split two burgers together, the Peanut Butter Pickle Bacon and the Bender. I think this was our first time having the Peanut Butter Pickle Bacon burger, and although it sounds like a strange combination for a burger, trust me it was SO good. Maybe I just love peanut butter... but it surprisingly paired well with all the other components together. The Bender is a more common type of burger that comes with bacon, grilled onion, crispy jalapeno, and spicy BBQ, and of course it always just hits the spot! Burger was amazing. I got their pint lunch meal - Jose Mendoza burger without bacon & it was flavorful & fulfilling (I didn't get a chance to take a pic of it) but just know it was good the green chilies give it a different twist. We also tried their classic burger, it was good too, can't go wrong with a classic burger. Their fries were a bit salty at first, not sure if they sprinkle the salt after laying it in the basket with the burger or they toss it before hand the but the ones I ate at the top were salty and the ones at the bottom had less salt which is fine cause I don't like a lot of salt on my fries but none the less the fries were crispy, I actually liked it. I had the Fun Guy burger w/bacon, Swiss cheese fondue sauce and switched out the house sauce for BBQ sauce, mushrooms and grilled onions and held the pickles in the original size. In terms of food service, I didn't really feel like there was much peanut butter.
