Although my experience with my designer Angie-Ange, my appliance rep Nick, and the quality of the work provided by the subcontractors was exceptional, I would not recommend Bray & Scarff to others. The project did not start until July 21, 2025. When I asked why there was such a long delay, I was told by the coordinator that the company had seven active jobs and were too busy! The contract stated the project would be completed around September 21, 2025, but it was not completed until April 21, 2026! The project manager never evaluated the job before it began and his communication was often demeaning and filled with excuses. He allowed all the city permits to expire and then thought I should pay for the extension fees. The project coordinator was totally incompetent. She only reported on work completed, as if I wouldn't know, and did not coordinate any service without being prompted by the designer or myself. The warehouse was incompetent. They left $4,200 of ceramic flooring on a public sidewalk for two days. When they were asked to break the pallet down and stack the tile inside the house, they responded by saying it was "too hot". When they came to pick the tile up, they gouged the base the tree in front of our house and broke the realtor sign in front of our neighbor's home; perhaps they should learn how to operate a hand truck. When the delivered the tile the second time, they crushed six slate path tiles by placing the entire pallet on top of the slate. Because the warehouse did not inventory the renovation items the deliveries were incomplete or missing items required for the subcontractors to complete their work. On two occasions I had to purchase some items at Lowes so the work could be completed. Finally, thank you for assigning Ugur Isik aa a project manager in March 2026. He was professional and worked expeditiously to get all the missing supplies delivered, the worked completed, and the permits signed off.

I have tried to visit the store many times and they have yet to be open according to their hours…read more(both online or according to the store sign). I have even waited up to 1/2 hour for them to open and nothing. I have left messages asking for a call when they are open, no return call. If they won't return a call for potential business, I would not suggest buying from them. I have rental properties, so my business could be often. They have lost a customer. I asked about a hose extension for a washing machine and the guy clearly had no desire to look up the size of the hose only told me they didn't have it. I asked if he recommended something else, a tube or coupling and all he said was no. Anyways I went to Home Depot, they provided me with the size of the tubing and made recommendations for an inexpensive solution. It's sad that the big box store provided way better customers service

Left and called the insurance company. He came back in and said the unit was not covered. I asked what he told them to have the claim denied. He would not tell me. I asked what his assessment was of the machine and what was wrong. He would not tell me that either. This place is a scam. Avoid at all costs. There are many other appliance repair places to go to and not have to deal with this horrible service and attitude.

He properly evaluated there were major broken parts costing $500 to repair and left the house to file the warranty claim. Not only did we have the original two year warranty, but I spent an additional $130 for extending the warranty to five years. After he left our house, he reported that the failure was due to "overloading the washer" with no evidence, no indication, and no common sense. We are two grandparents living by ourselves with little laundry that we do quite often, so the loads are small. Whirlpool used to be a quality brand, and with a $600 washer with all of the sensors included to complete a proper wash, you would think the sensors would let you know if it truly was overloaded. Anyway, specifically because of the DMV technician's claim that the damage was our fault, the insurance will not reimburse us. I have filed a claim to the Better Business Bureau and will continue to fight this until it is fixed.
