    Blurry stamp.

Beware - this place will not stand behind its services. They charged me about $90 for shipping and notary services, and when it was messed up due to their mistake, would only write off $15 on my next notary service. Back story: I came here for an urgent document notarization, and paid for notary service ($15) plus overnight shipping (about $75). This was in early August. As a result of an error by the notary (a blurry illegible stamp), the document was rejected by the Secretary of State when I sent it for legalization. As a result, I had to get the document notarized again, this time at a second UPS Store location. Again, I paid about $90, and again it was rejected due to a mistake by the notary (he failed to sign). I brought it back to this location, and explained the whole story. As a result of these delays - which were entirely their fault - my client's filing document is now weeks late, the client is losing money, and I am likely to lose the client. I spoke to the manager, and he said the best he could do was give me a free notary service. When pressed, he also gave me $5 off shipping. This does not even come close to compensating me. When I saw this location open, I was hopeful. I run my own firm, so I use the UPS store frequently for shipping and notarization. After today, I will no longer use this location. The manager acted like it was my problem even though all of the problems were due to their mistake. From the moment I started talking, he had an attitude like it was my fault - arguing with me that the stamp was legible even though I showed it to him and the Secretary of State is the one that rejected it. He said he could not refund me for shipping, which was clearly untrue, because the other UPS Store location refunded all services & shipping, and apologized profusely. I don't know why the owner would open a new store and hire a manager with such poor customer service skills. Of course, I will also be making a complaint about this location and the notary to the California Secretary of State, although I don't really even blame the notary. Mistakes happen, but it is the job of the store manager to make it right when they do happen. Even a full refund would not really compensate for the trouble this has caused, but I did not get that, and moreover I did not get an apology.

Shocked! I come in here often to do Amazon returns as it is the closest location to my home, always have friendly service. Today was different, the lady assisting me did not want to be there plus this was my first time actually doing business besides an Amazon return at this location she seemed bothered I was even there. I couldn't believe how RUDE she was. I needed a single stamp. She charged me $1.15 for the postage which she says is normally .69 but the convenience surcharge added more. I know this is silly but seriously a .46 markup for a single stamp won't be doing that again or shipping anything from them. I understand charging a convenience surcharge but this was obscene, went in thinking a $1 at most, FedEx or USPS from now on.

The UPS Store at Clinton Keith (Wildomar, No. 92595)…read more Wildomar, California. The southern reaches of Riverside County unfold like a vast, sun-bleached canvas--sprawling suburbs, distant mountains, and the occasional outpost of commerce where one seeks to dispatch a parcel into the great beyond. At 27890 Clinton Keith Road stands this solitary UPS Store, a brown-clad fortress amid the retail wilderness. You arrive with your package--carefully taped, labeled, a small emissary of your intentions headed across counties or continents. What greets you is not the brisk efficiency of a seasoned courier captain, but rather a faint whiff of snark drifting across the counter like cigar smoke in a speakeasy. The attitude is subtle yet unmistakable: a raised eyebrow, a sigh that lingers a moment too long, a tone that suggests your box has personally inconvenienced their afternoon. On the few occasions one has ventured here, the experience repeats itself with the reliability of a stagecoach schedule. No warmth, no expeditionary camaraderie--just the quiet implication that you, the traveler bearing goods, are an intrusion upon their domain. Service requested: competent, if grudgingly delivered. Quality of the transaction: functional, nothing more. Value: one begins to question whether the convenience justifies the subtle hostility. In truth, this correspondent would sooner reroute through distant lands--seek an alternative UPS outpost, or abandon the brown fleet altogether--than endure another encounter with such understated disdain. There are, after all, other ways to send a package on its journey. FedEx beckons from afar. Even the post office, with its eternal lines, suddenly feels like a kinder frontier. Perhaps one day this store will rediscover the spirit of the trailblazer. Until then, proceed with caution... or simply ride on past. Maybe.

She told me she'd "make them fit" in the shipping box provided and crushed two out of three items I had within the box, so much so I had to COMPLETELY REPLACE the two items upon taking my box back to have shipped by USPS. Second time Teresa "helped me" at the UPS Store she was so rude and short with customers even a sweet elderly woman commented on her behavior in the store when I looked at her horrified at how I was being treated. Today, the third and final time I'll EVER use this woman's help, was when she almost completely destroyed my daughter's very first tournament sheet from her huge tennis win. I came into the UPS Store on Scott Rd. excited to get her bracket sheet laminated for her and explained to another how important this piece of paper was. The employee didn't know enough about lamination to help so she handed my daughter's tournament sheet to Teresa, WHO KNEW THE LAMINATOR WAS BROKEN, and Teresa forced the sheet through a cold lamination machine making it look as though the sheet had STRIPES. My daughter cried BUCKETS learning that this had happened. Doing the best I could with the situation, I drove my kids to the UPS Store on Clinton Keith and they fixed her error free of charge, while they were all aghast that Teresa had done that as "everyone knows that machine is broken." The associates were incredibly helpful and understanding of the error made as it looks like Teresa has botched so so so many things before. The owner of both stores truly needs to reprimand this woman as she creates chaos in whatever situation she's involved in. If I see her again, I'll run full speed the opposite way! Don't make the same mistake I have (three times) and trust this woman! She's AWFUL and truly shouldn't be working there let alone be the manager!

I contacted UPS and went through the very detailed process of reporting the problem (that they insist on) - listing contents, submitting photos of the contents and every side of the shipping box - including box number, etc. After all my trouble, they told me I needed to contact the specific store I mailed it from - (didn't take it upon themselves to communicate the problem and pass on all the info and pictures to their UPS store). When I contacted this Murietta/Winchester store, they told me to send the pictures and info. Next in the process, they told me I needed to contact the vendor. I told them, "You are the 'vendor.' This wasn't a package shipped by another company through UPS. It was sent by an individual at your store and stayed within the UPS system throughout the entire process." They said they'd look into it and call me back. No return call, so I called back. They continued to put it off, the one lady went on maternity leave, the next employee said they'd pick up where she left off - many phone calls over many months trying to get some help to pay for the phone that was stolen - or some kind of compensation - and was consistently neglected. I finally let it go - but I have made it a point not to use UPS for my many mailings and shipments since then. I had never had a problem with UPS over my lifetime, but was surprised that when I did, they didn't step up and take responsibility for their mistake. I won't have a problem with them again because I won't use their services voluntarily again. It has cost them (& will continue to cost them) way more than the cost of a (even inexpensive) cell phone worth of business - just from myself and my family. Customer service is not what it used to be - even from long-time companies like UPS. Disappointing.

I brought my grandparents in for a simple notarization, which should've been quick and easy. While I was having a normal, casual conversation with my grandmother nothing disruptive or related to the document the notary suddenly stopped what she was doing and told me to stop talking. I told her that she might want to work on her customer service skills, and honestly, that could have been the end of it. But instead, she decided to keep arguing with me, as if she couldn't just let it go. What really stood out was how she repeatedly felt the need to remind me that "everyone always compliments her customer service." I'm not sure why that mattered in the moment, because her attitude during this interaction was the complete opposite of what I'd call good customer service. It didn't stop there. She leaned over the counter toward my grandfather in a way that felt condescending almost like she was questioning whether he was of sound mind to understand what he was signing. That was completely unnecessary and honestly insulting, considering he is perfectly healthy and fully aware of everything he does. At that point, my grandparents were so uncomfortable they refused to stay any longer. We went to UPS immediately after, and not only did they notarize the document quickly and politely, but even they found it surprising that someone would act like that over something so small. There was zero issue at UPS with me having a simple conversation, and they treated my grandparents with the respect they deserve. I've always given this location the benefit of the doubt because of past positive experiences, but this visit was disappointing and unprofessional. If you're in customer service, you have to be able to handle simple interactions without turning them into unnecessary conflicts or making customers feel uncomfortable. Hopefully this location addresses this kind of behavior, because it's not at all what I've come to expect here.
