My fiancé and I have a home business (homemade beef jerky) and it's so convenient to use their drop off bin since we ship via USPS. From important documents to getting pages printed or scanned, they make it easy and an affordable price. My phone calls get answered 95% of the time (they tend to their customer with care). A huge one for me was when I was going through a difficult time that required a lot of paperwork I had filled out (I believe it was 40-60 pages) and needed printing, scanning and quick shipping. I was very stressed and the young girl guided me through everything with so much care and patience, finding me the best option to ship quickly at a more affordable rate. It truly became a core memory. I have never once left feeling like I didn't receive good customer service. Thank you to the older gentleman for your smiles today! I wish I had gotten his name but he was so funny and so happy. And last night, thank you to the young gal for letting my teenage daughter retake her passport photo when she didn't like her first one. I have used this place more times than I can count over the past year and a half. They've been my go to. However, I went to ship a package today through the United States. Postal Service and I needed to tape the label to the box. I asked for tape and was told I could buy it. Now I get that "nothing is free", but when you have a customer who uses your services repeatedly and never shipped through the United States Postal Service, I feel you could cut them a little professional courtesy and offer the tape. Wow, the old lady working here is so rude, just rubs you the wrong way with her snarky tone and condescending attitude. Wouldn't take our FedEx shipment even with signs posted outside and inside that you do. Asked my husband as soon as he walked in and when he said FedEx, she told him to take it to UPS, like what? So I tried going in and she told me the same thing right off the bat, without even asking. It's a FedEx return all set up for Walmart, just scan and you're supposed to be able to print a label and return it! Stay away from this place at all costs. I've been here twice in the last few months to ship something and both times were bad (and costly) experiences. On one occasion I needed to ship something to a friend in Canada and paid quite a bit of money for international shipping. After 3 weeks of waiting the item was retuned back to my home address because the rep at this Postal Annex location lazily wrote "gift" on the item description instead of the electronics part I told her it was. The most recent occasion I needed to ship a parcel via USPS ground but the owner (asian man) told me that the cheapest option was over $100. He offered to ship it via Fedex ground instead which was around $70 and I reluctantly obliged. Something felt off by that price so I went home and priced out the package on USPS.com and it was only $27 via ground. The $100 price he quoted was for priority which was not what I asked for. Granted, maybe Postal Annex doesn't offer USPS ground for some reason, but that's still a big enough reason for me to not return here. Do yourself a favor and just drive the extra 5 miles or so to the nearest post office and skip Postal Annex. read more

I went in the store today to make copies for my business. However, I felt extremely uncomfortable upon walking in when I was faced with a employee, Rose, who decided to talk down upon trans and lgbt lives. I was struggling not to cry as I heard her make rude remarks of trans mothers or parent and joked with another customer about trans individuals being "too much" when it comes towards asking their assigned gender at birth. She also spoke about having kids in private school due to the fact school systems are messing up childrens lives teaching about the lgbt and sex education. She did this all while speaking to a man who works within the fire dept. As a woc and woman who is in the lgbt I am no longer returning to this store and encouraging others to not return as well. This is close to our house. Our coffee company screwed up our order online and directed us to pickup our coffee order at this location. For whatever reason the guy ransomed the package from my wife and charged her $5 to receive her free drop ship delivery. This guy was extremely rude to my wife and threatened to send it back. We didn't choose this option the coffee company directed us to it, with the intent of us getting our package in a timely manner, all with zero cost to us. My wife got conned straight up. I guess my only gripe is that I depend on them so much but in recent weeks with the COVID 19 outbreak they have been closed. I only recommend going here if you don't have any other options, because they are very expensive! I had to make a 14 copies and mail something out to my HOA and it cost me $10 and I was using my own large envelope. They can get rather busy so please be prepared to wait. The time before last, a customer was yelling at the owner and claimed they lost his Fedex package that he mailed out there. The place seems a little bit disorganized. This is a great little shop. I recently needed a document notarized, and I didn't know where to find a notary on short notice. If I didn't return the notarized document that day, my wife would have been cut off from our health insurance. I was in panic mode, and started looking for a notary. I called a FedEx store but they didn't have one. However, one of the employees told me to check out Postal Annex. I called and the young lady who answered the phone told me she was a notary. I jumped in the car and rushed over to Postal Annex. I sat down with her and as she was filling in her book and while she was signing my form, I got a text from my Retirement Office saying I didn't need the document after all. It was an error on their part. I told her I didn't need the notarization after all. She was very nice about it. I offered to pay her since she already filled out all the forms, but she refused to take any money. I highly recommend this business. Contrary to the previous reviewers I've never had a bad experience here. Granted, I've actually never used their shipping services. I just come by to drop off packages or to purchase special envelopes or boxes. You're going to pay more here for shipping/postage than at the post office, but the nearest post office is at least 5 miles away. So expect pricing to be a little higher, because that convenience equals markups. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes either. But then again, I'm a fairly patient person. From what I've observed with the associates, they seem to be quite competent but not overly exuberant. This is a trait I particularly enjoy, I'm not a big fan of overly peppy people. My certified mail was lost it took I would say a month to arrive y to its destination and they did not help me at all

When I first went to this location I called and got prices, went there two time with a nice younger asian lady help me. This last & final time a older asian man help me and gave me a higher price to which I asked if their fees went up and he stated they had not. I was in a hurry, so decided to just pay that price even though more then recently same tasks within the couple of weeks. However when he ran my card he added on a larger service fee which he did not tell me about. When I got back to office I pulled my receipt and sure enough those service fees were incorrect and the price. I will not be returning & told the man. Dishonestly and deceitful. This saddens me and I honestly hope as a business they address this issue. read more

I recently used the services at this location and I found that both employees were very friendly. I feel that I must speak up because a couple of people have disparaged the young African American lady working there. While there, a very heavy set white lady came in without a mask, which is required for service. The customer actually thought that it was funny to show up without a mask, as she was laughing. Both employees were very friendly in that they gave her a mask and she in turn asked for a mask for her son. The clerks gave her two masks, which I am sure they were not obligated to do, as the son was in the car. I wish that people would be considerate for those who are working with the public, as they do not want to catch our germs or attitudes. I usually use post office to ship packages but was in a rush today. They inflate their prices for USPS by double. I was charged 10.65 to ship a legal size envelope first class 13.3 ounces with tracking. When compared to usps website it should not have been more than $5. Never again lesson learned. read more

So I go in today happy to see the girl who always helps me ! We have given this place so much business the last year and the way I was treated is crazy. First she tells me I have to wear a mask and I told her oh sorry I don't have one Can you give me one and she's like we don't have any and I was like your mandating a mask but you won't provide one /: okay will I just need to mail 1 thing. She said no service. I said I have a box here that I pay for and she stated that she can't help me her rude ass manager (which always rude when I go always miserable and angry) comes out said I have to wear a mask and I said that's fine I don't have one I'll wear one if you give me one repeated they don't have one at this point I feel completely discriminated on so I try to cancel my account and was told I can't cancel due to contract but they won't provide service. This business is very convenient to my home. However the lack of friendliness of some of the staff is forcing us to look elsewhere. One employee is just consistently rude: no eye contact, no smiles, rudely tells you to get back in line if she's not ready. And it happens nearly every time, even when the owners are there. Website says open at 8:30. Door signage says open at 8:30. Employee looked surprised to see me at 9:21am and (talking on cell phone whole time) abruptly tells me they don't open until 9:30 now. Does she offer to help me a few minutes early? Nope. While on her phone, she drags their sidewalk decor out with one hand and ignores me while I stand outside for the remaining 8 minutes.
