I had a terrible experience with this UPS store - I shipped a package that arrived at its destination torn open and rummaged through and then sloppily retaped - with items missing. I contacted UPS and went through the very detailed process of reporting the problem (that they insist on) - listing contents, submitting photos of the contents and every side of the shipping box - including box number, etc. After all my trouble, they told me I needed to contact the specific store I mailed it from - (didn't take it upon themselves to communicate the problem and pass on all the info and pictures to their UPS store). When I contacted this Murietta/Winchester store, they told me to send the pictures and info. Next in the process, they told me I needed to contact the vendor. I told them, "You are the 'vendor.' This wasn't a package shipped by another company through UPS. It was sent by an individual at your store and stayed within the UPS system throughout the entire process." They said they'd look into it and call me back. No return call, so I called back. They continued to put it off, the one lady went on maternity leave, the next employee said they'd pick up where she left off - many phone calls over many months trying to get some help to pay for the phone that was stolen - or some kind of compensation - and was consistently neglected. I finally let it go - but I have made it a point not to use UPS for my many mailings and shipments since then. I had never had a problem with UPS over my lifetime, but was surprised that when I did, they didn't step up and take responsibility for their mistake. I won't have a problem with them again because I won't use their services voluntarily again. It has cost them (& will continue to cost them) way more than the cost of a (even inexpensive) cell phone worth of business - just from myself and my family. This was my first time returning a large item through Amazon. My son's father had torn open the box to the large item and it needed to be taped back together. Scarlett was so helpful and provided great customer service. She helped me tape the box back together and wrap up the items with the bubble wrap to return the item back to Amazon. I've only used the UPS store for a few Amazon returns but the experiences I've had have been good. We don't always package the returns we'll if the original box has been damaged but they've taken the time to prep them and print/stock labels for me. I've been helped by a couple different employees and always receive the same level of service. One employee even helped me with NOT returning a pkg. one particular order was not Amazon Prime due to the specialty of the object. But it came in and we decided we didn't need it after all. The shipping to return the box to China was going to run me about $45 since it wasn't a prime order. The object only cost $20. They broke it down that I'd be losing more money by shipping it back than if I just kept the item. Saved me $25 when they could have easily shipped it and taken my $45. Very honest business practice, looking out for the customer rather than the bottom line. Thank you UPS store for being an honest, quality business in a time when it seems like most are only out to make a buck. read more

That's all this place is. Fax doesn't work, printer is down. Go to Postal Annex better. I usually go there but because I was here and I needed these forms out, I just walked in to try this place. When we came in, I could see that Michelle, the manager, really didn't want us to be here because she had this impatient, angry face all the time. She was very rude and asked us to weigh each box, and I mailed the same box to another store the day before and they didn't ask us to weigh it. After we finished, she served several white clients and was much nicer. I want to ask, does she think asians won't complain to her because we are Asian? For my business, I had to ship 43 boxes the week before Christmas. I was fortunate enough to work with Bri at my local UPS Store. Bri could not have been more helpful and happy to help. Bri even worked after hours to complete my order. The following day I had 19 more boxes and was fortunate enough to work with Kyle. Same experience, happy to help, was quick and so kind. What a great group of people to work with. I highly recommend my local UPS Store. Thank you Bri and Kyle! To make it even better, the cost for the same shipping was $800 less then when I shipped by FedEx in 2020. Bryan C. helped us out and did a wonderful job finding the right size box, putting it together, and offered to fill the empty space with filler to be sure it arrived just as we sent it. Friendly Advice... DO NOT SHIP ITEMS from UPS store #4204, they do not value their customers & think they are entitled to keeping my money, for a service I paid for & did not receive. I sent a transmission out from their location on Fri. Dec. 28th, 2018. All they did was print a sticker & placed it on the item. I personally helped the UPS driver load the item mentioned in the back of his truck. The item was supposed to be delivered to the buyer on Mon. Jan. 7th, 2019. However the buyer was notified from UPS that he needed to go to their facility & pick the item up. When he got there the item was destroyed, as if someone just pushed it out of the truck & it landed on the top of the transmission case & cracked it. He did not take possession of the transmission & they returned the damaged transmission to Me. Unfortunately the guy at the UPS store did not offer insurance & I did not ask. So therefore a claim was filed & denied on behalf of UPS claiming I improperly packed the item, even though they can see I have sent multiple transmissions through their company & have never had any issues. I went to the UPS store on Jan. 10th, 2019 to speak w/ the manager of that location about the issue. She said I would get a partial refund, I said "partial?". She replied that a refund wasn't up to her that she had to ask the owner of the store. Well she got back to me saying that the store manager is denying a refund & can only give me $50 back out of the $187 that I spent to send the item. The never made it to its destination & was returned back to me, damaged. I requested that the store owner call Me & explain why she feels she is entitled to keep My money.... To my surprise, she called. She stated that UPS had already took their cut & they wouldn't refund me. No duh, you're a franchise & you'd be reimbursed by UPS. Her & the manager insisted that UPS would be the one to issue the refund. I called the 1 800 number for UPS & spoke w/ the Customer Care Rep. & they said that the store I shipped from would be the ones who issue the refund. I told her that they keep insisting that I have to get a refund from UPS company. The UPS customer care rep. said that she would even expect a refund & that obviously the store owner is not trying to help me, so she provided me w/ the phone number to call Corporate to file a complaint out that store. I personally spoke w/ 2 other locations, 1 being the location on Clinton Kieth. I spoke w/ Vincent, the owner of that UPS store location & I told him what happened & if I had shipped the item from his location, would he give me a refund??? Without hesitation, his reply was " Yes, I would refund You gladly in order to retain You as a customer. From now on, I will be using his location to ship My items. To insure that if for some reason that my package doesn't make it. I will be taken care of & not treated unfairly. W/ that said... I will NEVER use the UPS store #4204 on Winchester/Murrieta Hot Springs in the Albertsons parking lot. I have already found a replacement transmission for the buyer & will be using the UPS store off Clinton Kieth to send it off. I recommend that You guys go to another UPS store, where You'll be treated like a valued customer & won't have to worry about being ripped off, if something was to happen to your package. Probably the rudest employee I have interacted with , went in to drop off a return package from Amazon , young blonde guy with Tattoo on left arm behind counter was expressing how he doesn't care about not wearing a mask during this time expressing how he knows better . Walked up to him no greeting said how do you want me to send these packages with no labels . Let him know we had a QR code for him to scan , he scanned printed labels and when handing us the receipt i Extended my hand to take receipt and he drops it on the counter knowing my hand was out about to grab it ... being a regional manger for a large corporation I'm so disappointed in the level of service this store an employee provided . I will drop off packages here from time to time. I have a weekly UPS pickup but there are times when I have last minute packages to ship out and my driver has already picked up so I will drop them off at this store. Without question one of the worst customer service people I've ever encountered at a UPS Store. There are two women in particular that are really bad. An older blonde lady and a young girl I haven't seen before. The younger dark hair girl helped me the other day (sort of). When I walked in the blonde lady was helping another customer and the younger lady called me over and pointed to the scale for me to put my boxes on. I put them on the counter because there were a few boxes. She looked at me and pointed at the scale again. So I put the first package on the scale, an international package, ground to Canada. After a few minutes of confusion she looked up at me and said this is international - I said "right ground to Canada, is that an issue?" She didn't reply and took that package off and pointed once again to the scale. Not sure why she couldn't verbally communicate but I complied and kept putting the boxes on the scale. When she was done she printed the receipt and just handed it to me. No thank you or have a nice day. Not a single word. I'm used to the older blonde lady doing this and apparently she must have trained the younger girl. They use to have a really sweet older lady who was super nice and when it would get busy she would talk to customers in the line like "thanks for your patience we'll be right with you..... etc, etc". You know normal customer service etiquette. I now drop my packages at the Temecula UPS store. A little out of my way but worth it not to deal with people who clearly hate their job. read more

They stole my purse. In Spring 2018, I shipped out a Louis Vuitton purse in its original Louis Vuitton box at this location. The retail price of the purse was $3,500.00. The box was flashy -- I used Louis Vuitton's packaging; it has greater resilience during transport. But it's a distinctive saffron color that highlights Louis Vuitton in large print. The package never made it to its final destination. I had purchased tracking, but not insurance. I think insurance only covered $500? The shipment was scanned and on its way to its next stop, San Bernardino, according to the package's tracking information. That is where the tracking updates permanently stopped. The final destination was supposed to be the east coast. The package was never delivered. I opened claims with USPS and they had a so-called eight-month investigation. At the end of their "investigation", I received an apology email that my items went missing in the mail. No compensation. I was told over the phone that packages can break open and the contents fall out of the box. This was a brand new purse with its authenticity card, original receipt, dust bag and it just went missing out of a high quality Louis Vuitton box. I'm skeptical. Don't ship your items in flashy boxes here or it could go missing like mine did. Stick to plain brown. I wouldn't spend a penny at this location again. Go to the Postal Annex across the street -- the owners are trustworthy, they have cameras and have never lost my mail in over ten years. read more

Sadly, I wish I could give them more stars and a better review, but this store, of which I am a long term box renter, just doesn't seem to want to work out it's bugs in spite of me bringing things to their attention in writing and by phone. Extremely frustrating. I've been renting UPS Boxes all over the country for the last 20+ years. I rent a local one for business and another box in San Diego for my personal mail. I've never had the issues I've had at this store in Winchester/Murrieta Issues? Yes. Namely, they will not notify me of items delivered that fit into my mailbox. EVEN IF IT HAS A TRACKING NUMBER ON IT! I had to call and ask about this because I found myself with "surprise" packages that they did not email me the receipt information for. How would I even know it was there? If it has a tracking number, I should be notified, regardless of if it fits in my box. Common sense, right? I mean, this is a service I PAY for. Truly, they don't quite get this. Also, within one month of getting our box there, they called to inform me that my S.O. was not on the account and they turned away a package for him. WHAT?? My Significant Other signed the card and got the keys directly from them a month prior, right along with me!! Then they called me back to say they "Just hadn't looked in the computer well enough". Pretty big "boo boo" there. ALSO....They tend to close at odd hours (not posted). For example, I was notified on a Saturday at 12:20pm that I had a package. I arrived to get it at 2:45pm. Gate was closed and I couldn't get to my mailbox nor speak to a clerk. Even though the hours posted state closing time is 4:00pm (When I called later, they said they often leave early on holiday weekends.......would have been nice if they posted that) Needless to say, I won't be renewing after my year is up. As far as the store's other capabilities.....they seem to have packing supplies and copy needs taken care of. They do make house keys. If that's what you're needing, you'll be fine. If you want long term service and to rent a box there....DON'T.....Just my opinion! read more

Shipped 2 packages on April 30th. Paid for overnight delivery for saturday 5/1 packages did not arrive til monday 5/3. The store employee Dan confirmed with me on 4/30 that I paid for the correct labels and guaranteed Saturday 5/1 delivery or your money back. He even put saturday delivery stickers on the boxes. Called the store trying to get a refund and they said it's a UPS corporate problem. Called UPS customer service and I am being denied a refund because UPS franchise store employee Dan failed to do his job properly. Paid over $100 for shipping, had to refund my customers in full for their orders and shipping and resend both boxes with USPS instead. Terrible customer service. This was my first and last experience shipping with UPS. do not ship with UPS go to FedEx or USPS instead. read more

I've been here NUMEROUS times to ship back returns to Amazon, & even though they've never made any profit off of me (these returns are prepaid through Amazon) they still have always been so smiley, so friendly, never acting like I'm a burden. After one time last Christmas season I dropped off a return they gave me a goodie bag of Holiday Treats! I was just there a few days ago to send out a return package. I liked how they had clients standing a distance apart and were wiping down the station and counter after each person was done w transactions. Are you kidding me ? Have not bought a stamp in forever but my child's school asked for one so i stop by this place . I purchased 4 stamps at $3.40 (85 cents each) thought it was a bit high but had no other option near by. I got home and researched it and found out that the individual price of a stamp at the post office is 55 cents. This place unlike any other place in Temecula / Murrieta marks up the stamps close to 60% ... what a rip off and they only sell them in 4s. I called more than a dozen postal annex stores and they sell stamps anywhere from 60 cents to 70 cents. Its not about the few more cents I had to spend but about how some businesses are only about profit and ripping the consumer off I will never step a foot again at this store read more
