Love the convenience of a Dropbox out front, especially when we find it challenging to get to the ship center before closing time. As for the staff located at this ship center, they make service hassle-free. Often times I travel and need to ship out pelican cases to my destination so I don't have to lug so much baggage at the airport. Every time I show up with my case, they are ready to take measurements, record weight, and enter my account number and I am out the door! They are well prepared for any shipping service we need and make life easy! I've been to other FedEx locations and sometimes I experience a long wait with no customer line (on multiple visits), or one store I recall gave me a hard time requiring me to purchase a FedEx box for a shipment I needed to make even when I already had a box...or ship centers that did not offer a drop box. I spent a small fortune paying for overnight delivery for 2 packages. One was delivered, the other is "delayed". Apparently even if you spend $300+ to get a box of homemade tamales delivered sometime the next day to an address in St. Louis, it doesn't guarantee that they will actually get it there...and if they miss the delivery window, they don't refund your money. So my tamales are sitting in Indianapolis, and all you get is a "sorry for your inconvenience and that due to large quantities of packages they can't make a promise to deliver on time". So then why did you charge me $550+ to ship 2 boxes overnight if you had no intention of doing so? So go ahead and bend on over and I'll tell you where to shove those apologies, because "overnight" doesn't really mean 'overnight' in FexEx speak. I'll be disputing this credit card charge with my bank. You cannot charge for a service for which you are not prepared to deliver. read more

1 star solely to the incompetency of service. I was specific with my instructions & informed them I live across the street from a larger complex that has identical Unit numbers. On top of the address number being off by a digit. Mentioned that & the actual address is a lot smaller & unfortunately the property management or owners don't want to spend money to put a LARGE SIGN W/ADDRESS so the drivers have no excuse to say they can't find it. NOPE. Parking is a little tough; quick and efficient help was highly appreciated as I was shipping a 50 pound lithium battery. I had tried to ship from the Fedx on Winchester but was told by the hair-on-fire clerk that they wouldn't accept lithium batteries and only option was to schedule a pickup. If you have the option use another carrier. What sense does it make to try and deliver a package, that needs to be signed for, on a Tuesday 11:00. Then leaving a note saying "sorry we missed you we will try again another time", yeah that other time was the next day same time ‍. So after the "second attempt" it's held at the warehouse, okay fine. Go there to pick it up a few days later.... THEY ALREADY SENT THE PACKAGE BACK TO THE SENDER . BEWARE!!! EPIC FAILURE ON EVERY LEVEL!!! WORST DEPLORABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Unreliable deliveries time and time again of critical medication!!! Failure to adhere to delivery instructions. Refusal to deliver per instructions for time and delivery date, with signature required, which are clearly shown instructions on address label. Manager at this location stated they are not obligated to follow delivery instructions. They deliver based on their schedule. When informed it's critical medication, I was told it doesn't matter what's in the box. Called Corporate Fed Ex, the manager there said they are suppose to follow delivery instructions shown on label. Specialty Pharmacy will no longer use this Fed Ex, and is now contracted with another shipper for medication shipments. This Fed Ex location is an extreme failure from the management all the way down the line to the delivery drivers! Rude, discourteous, unprofessional, inconsiderate, incompetent!!! Please Read all the many other negative reviews listed on Yelp for this location, in regards to management, drivers, and service! Many of my neighbors have had the same experiences! Worst customer service ever. Have had 4 issues in the last 2 months with this depot. Destroyed package. Lost package. 12 hour delivery window with ZERO updates all day with multiple calls. The response " this is FedEx and this is how we work" and then "sorry You dont like it that's how it is" and even better after asking for a possible response after 2 hours "the drivers dont watch their tablets every second they cannot respond" Still waiting on insured package replacement from 3 weeks ago. This is my go-to spot for drop-offs. It's location is convenient and parking is a breeze! Why? Because the foot traffic here is incredibly low. Most people go to the Fed Ex Kinko's on Winchester to take care of their shipping needs. You won't find the same resources at the Jefferson location, but you won't find lines either. And when all I'm doing are drop-offs, lines are the enemy. At the most, you'll find two associates behind the counter. But most of the time it's a one-man army back there. This has to be one of the best FedEx experiences in my life, and I can thank the very nice Laurie for helping me through shipping my package. I brought in my own box to ship something and I preferred air and she informed me it might be cheaper using their boxes. So I took things out of my box and put it in their box and saved $20 doing so. She helped me find a shipping method and price that I was happy with and she was very patient in doing so. I just moved here from the East Coast and I am not used to the level of great customer service that I received. On 12/28I ordered a perishable product from a food company that informed me I would receive my order on 12/31 by end of day via FedEx. I received a tracking report that stated the package arrived in Los Angeles on 12/31 @ 5 am. As of today(1/2/21) the order is "pending" and still sitting in the LA distribution center. I dont know what happened with FedEx but their service is non existent. I'm sure the product is spoiled by now and I will have to reorder. Went to drop off a package for another business but needed a few FedEx envelopes for the company I work for. I took a few envelopes from the kiosk that's at the front door with all the shipping supplies (which I've done at other locations). That is when I heard one of the female clerks behind the counter say rudely that I need to order those online with your account. I was more perplexed because it's all FedEx at the end of the day and online options give you at least 50 envelopes. I just needed 3 or 4. I guess an explanation rather than a rude statement would have sufficed. read more

My very important mail was sent through FedEx overnight yesterday. I checked the tracking and it stated that the communication was In Temecula and scheduled for delivery on Monday as FedEx doesn't deliver on weekends. FedEx has a facility on Jefferson known as the Temecula pick up station. After several tries using a FedEx phone number to request to pick up the envelope that I had anticipated. I was given information that it in fact was sitting at the Temecula pick up station.The recording looped back over and over I was determined to speak to a clerk. I finally got to speak to an employee who would not actually listen to my inquiry she continually repeated the same phrase again and again and again. "The package is scheduled for Monday and can not be picked up today..." I asked to speak to a manager so I was put on hold I waited for over 10 minutes the same clerk got on the phone not a manager. She said something like I am forwarding your call and clicked the phone off before I could respond. The next person to pick up the call was in another country with an accent and recited talking points with no help at all. He was a FedEx diversion tactic that probably gets paid $2 to $3 an hour from some country I can't even pronounce the name for. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. NO MANAGER THAT ACTUALLY HAD A BRAIN TO APPEAL TO. The "scarecrow" clerk that responded as if she wished she "only had a brain". I know several years ago FedEx filed Bankruptcy. I guess screwing customers over by outsourcing employees and hiring mindless dweebs to handle issues and make them go away helps their bottom line. Very expensive to ship very little concern for their customers. Just "show me the money" USPS is soooo much better they handle FedEx packages every day. You know the ones that FedEx just doesn't have time for bags and bags of them. Then they automatically post on tracking delivered. When the customer comes into the Post Office Management as well as clerks haVe gone out of their way to get the package for the customer that would have been scheduled for delivery the next day. Horrible experience at this location! The clerks are wonderful, but Raoul, the "manager" seriously lacks interpersonal and customer service skills. It was busy, so a second clerk opened up to help; while he was helping me, Raoul came up and told him to go do something else and asked me to wait. Had I stayed in the original line, I would have been the next person served. As I stood there I said it was rude to interrupt my transaction; Raoul replied "he has something important to do". I told him I did as well and I had already waited 15 minutes. He said he would try to input my info. Eventually the original clerk came back, and Raoul stood there looking over his shoulder, even when the man said he was making him nervous. I said "maybe you can leave us" and Raoul said, "No, I'm staying here, I'n helping him, he's doing the best he can". Huh? Raoul was doing nothing but looking at the screen and drinking coffee. I told him he was very rude and he replied "You're rude! Why don't you take your package and go somewhere else?!". So childish and unprofessional. I was honestly uncomfortable staying and sending my package from there because I worried that Raoul would somehow interfere with the delivery of my package! Anyway, I just left the lovely folks at UPS and my package is on it's way safely. I wonder how Corporate FedEx feels about it's employee telling a repeat customer to go to a competitor. I have already sent a complaint to corporate but this guy needs some serious education in manners and customer service. I had an order shipped to me shortly before moving. The package was set to arrive before I moved. It was delayed and later set to arrive after I moved. I contacted FedEx to have the address forwarded to me. They said no and shipped it to my old address anyway, knowing very well that I would not be there. I asked FedEx to hold it at the FedEx store and they said no. They then made three attempts at the old address to give my property to someone else with the knowledge that I wasn't there. They then said they would be shipping my property back out of the country due to me not being at an old address to sign for it, knowing that I was never going to be there and costing me money. As a business owner, I am amazed at this level of arrogance and incompetence. I missed a project deadline because of them and will never be doing business with FedEx again. Apparently years of business with FedEx means nothing to them. Guess I'm a UPS customer now. read more
