I had a box here for almost 6 years. I have to say the previous owners were GREAT. The new owners, not so much. I decided not renew my box because of horrible customer service. I don't recall his name but the young man that has the tattoos on his face is out of control. He called my phone, and was ssooo verbally aggressive that i handed my phone to my husband. My husband ended up hanging up in his face. Apparently there was a package that was delivered to our box and we were NEVER notified that the package was there so he called us almost 2 weeks later saying in order for us to get the package, there was a fee. Which if i was notified of the package, I would have retrieved the package. He was unable to tell me exactly how OR when I was notified that there was a package being held for me. To make matters worse, he claimed that the owners of the business were standing right beside him as he called me. Let me reiterate, his demeanor over the phone was so hostile, that i gave the phone to my husband, who in return hung up on him. I will say this...if in fact the owners were standing there witnessing how disrespectful their employee was treating their paying customers, they deserve to have their business go under. Let me also add, that the package that was delivered, it was the wrong person/box. So, a lost customer of 6 years, a negative review because your employee is VERY disrespectful. And your "manager" wasn't any help either. Im beyond disgusted with your business. read more

In any field of customer service, I believe employees should hold themselves accountable to treating their customers with kindness and respect. More basically put, treat people the way you'd like to be treated. With that said, I've gone to this location and have had great customer service from a younger male employee, but it takes one weak link to ruin customer experience. Today, I called to simply ask if they were open and the response I got from a female was, "10-4," and she hangs up. I get that everyone is on edge given the current global situation. I, too, am an essential worker during this time and I, too, am tired. Not once have I let a patient know that nor have I expressed frustration about working frontlines because it's the job I chose. To whoever the woman was who answered my call, it's probably time you choose a different career. read more

Let me first say that I love my local branch of the post office, but having discovered Postal Annex so close to my house, I don't ever see myself driving all the way to the USPS location ever again. I went online to see how much shipping would be on some bike parts I sold. The USPS site claimed one price, and thinking that PA would only be a few bucks more, decided that the convenience was well worth a small up charge. I got there, and the man behind the counter was very pleasant, easy to deal with, and eager to help. We weighed the package, measured it, etc and tried to get the least expensive rate we could. Turns out, it was a few dollars cheaper than it would have been if I drove all the way down to the post office. I'm very excited to know that I have a great shipping resource so close to the house. Wish I had found them while I was mailing out t shirts everyday. highly recommend you give them a try! read more

I am disappointed in the mediocre service with the Postal Annex on Benton in Winchester. It is small, dark and uninviting. Today will be the last time I choose this location for my needs. The young girl did not know what to do with my packages and then sneezed into her hand before handing me the receipt. Then, I had to slowly follow her in my car as she walked down the middle of the drive staring at her phone the entire time. She even walked across the busy road with one truck almost hitting her without even a glance to see what was going on around her. Stupid and inconsiderate behavior. read more

I've been using this Postal Annex for years, until today. The person working behind the counter clearly has no concept of customer service. I went in to drop off a UPS package today and there were a number of people in line. The single female clerk asked if anyone was dropping off a package and I said I was but that I needed a receipt. This clerk told me to just take a picture of the box - the second time in as many trips she's told me that. I said that I didn't like being told to just take a picture and she kicked me out of the store, refusing to take the package. I wasn't trying to cut the line and would have waited since the UPS driver was there any way. She clearly doesn't understand that a photo does not prove the package was dropped off and providing a receipt should be a matter of scanning the bar code and hitting print - 10 seconds at most. Clearly she is lazy and can't be bothered. I took the box to a UPS store down the road and they didn't even flinch when I asked for a receipt. Their employees actually get it. I won't be stepping foot in this Postal Annex any more and will also be filing a complaint with UPS. read more

I have to say that the couple that helped me with notarizing & mailing an affidavit, which had to be downloaded from my phone & emailed to their computer to be serviced (which I had no idea how to do) had to be the nicest & had more patience with my situation than my own Mother. I'm so glad I didn't go to Staples like I had originally planned! They must have spent an hour helping me take care of my business & I arrived just before closing but they still took the time to help & give me the quality of service that only a neighborhood business would. This review is for their fingerprinting services. I went to get fingerprinting done and paid $35 bucks which was with the roll fee and the card. The girl didn't even roll my fingers on the card and just told me to press down my finger and even mistakenly said the wrong finger for the wrong box, until I corrected her and rolled the correct finger. I got a notice from the licensing agency rejecting my fingerprints stating they were too light. I was trying to go to the closest place and learned my lesson, and will be going to the Murrieta Police Department who will charge only $20. I'm sure for their other services they're great, but for fingerprinting you're better off going to the police department and saving yourself time and money in the long run. read more

Warning: Do not get fingerprinted here. Basically, the only clerk on duty handed me a paper towel, the ink pad and told me to go ahead and do my own fingerprints. I've been printed several times in the past as I've held various law enforcement positions over the last decade and have always been assisted. Well, one of the prints (the tricky pinky) smeared and the card was ruined. The clerk then proceeded to assist other customers for the next 20 minutes and left me hanging. So, I walked out. She did say sorry and gave me a replacement card but she is obviously not trained to do fingerprints and her customer service skills need major improvement. I will never return for any reason. read more

The owner really needs to do some staff training, not only on customer service, copying, finger printing, passport pictures, being able to multi task. We waited for forty five minutes, to make two copies of paperwork and passport photos and a live scan. The young girl who works there did not know how to run the copier. Then she bypasses us and takes the person behind us. I feel like this is every time we go there. I will drive another couple miles in order to avoid this place. read more

do not ship anything from here that can go through the post office. i sent a usps flat rate 3 day package and was charged $36. a couple days later i had another package that needed to be sent via usps and went directly to the post office. it was the same size flat rate package and only cost me $21. this postal annex is a rip off on prices. they made a $15 profit off one box. read more

NO NO NO! I have been three separate times.There's a really lovely woman who works here. However, the older woman who is a part of the couple that operates this business is AWFUL. 1. Obviously because this a location of convenience they can overcharge you for stamps/basically all services. 2. I wrapped a package in brown paper and neatly printed the address. She insisted on shoving it into a postal envelope and charging me thee times as much as a package I JUST shipped from this location but with the help of the nicer lady.. I've never had that happen. Ever. When I convinced her to not use the envelope she insisted on printing a long printing label that I stick on the front of my already decorated and neatly written package. What?? I brought in THE SAME type of package(same book for a dif friend) and the other woman gladly kept the package as is and just added the necessary white rectangular postal stamp in the right corner. But no. Not this woman. I've never had any problems ever at postal offices in several locations/different states. I've always been able to send a package covered in brown mailing paper decorated and addressed the way I want. But NO this lady is always making up her own rules and has literally told me that she's allowed to do this because she's not affiliated with the postal service.....she is incredibly difficult and rude to work with. And I've always left this place fuming and out more money. I will not be returning or giving them any business despite having a convenient location. read more

The old man working here is the rudest old man I have ever met. I am a small business owner and the place where I get my items doesn't ship to my Address for some reason. I have to go to this postal annex and pick up my packages. The first time that I went a nice man with glasses gave my daughter the package (she likes to go in and get them) . The second time an older man when I was talking to my daughter in a very rude manner and was telling her that the package wasn't there and this time I had to go in because he wouldn't let my daughter retrieve the package because she's 10 years old without an ID but she had mine so she could get MY package so I had to go in this time and he said that he sent my package back because of what a driver said he doesn't have any customer service and he is very bad at running a postal annex they need to have a new owner because he is not the one the other employees there are very kind and they are very helpful but he is not the least bit helpful or kind. He definitely needs to be fired. read more
