I went to the store to return items in a very large box. It was going to be expensive and the very helpful and patient employee repackaged everything into a much smaller box she had on hand. It cost me 50% less to return the items and everything was packaged perfectly including the original packaging and boxes. read more

I contacted the owner to ensure he was aware of my experience. He called me right away to hear what had happened. He cares greatly about how customers are treated and said he would resolve the situation promptly. It's a good lesson to me and all of us to perhaps hold off on writing a bad review and first reach out to the owner to ensure they are aware. We came in to get something notarized. We were told to step aside and they would get to us. She proceeded to take other customers who were mailing packages. Fine, except people kept coming in and getting in line to mail packages. So we waited... and waited ... and waited while she helped other customers who came in after us. read more

A manager Tamika is very proficient, fast and caring for customers. She assisted me with passport pages scan with a fast copier/scanner of good quality. She gave me some goodies and advice. Send to my email right away. Fast and educated survive. They have only one big scanner/copier but it works fast and the place worth waiting. Yet, I there was no lines on Tuesday evening. read more

Meka, Carl and Abigale were really helpful today. I needed to print a resume and cover letter, and Carl was great. He carefully showed me how to use my flash drive to print something on the printer and walked me through it step-by-step. He also dug into the paper supply to find exactly the right kind of paper for my needs. Meka was great when I was trying to figure out how to balance finding the fastest shipping option and not spend too much. She talked through possibilities and gave great suggestions. Abigale was great about making sure every single detail was perfect on my mailing label. I was trying to create a first impression with a particular way of labeling my parcel with my cover letter and resume. She listened well and helped me get things just right. I went to the Palisades UPS on MacArthur to drop off a package, but couldn't walk much because of a badly sprained ankle. Faith noticed me outside and came over to my car to get me all I needed for the shipment, told me to honk when I was ready and she'd come back for my package. I literally did the whole transaction from my car, which I really appreciated because my foot was hurting a lot. Thank you, Faith, for being a such a kind person and such a customer service pro! I have to make a special mention to the person in charge of the store Yesterday, Tuesday January 31 2023. Her name Elise. We need to print and photo copy several documents. the She was alone and has to help another person in the PC and a permanent flow of customers. She managed to get our work done and at the same time help other customers. A customer service that can only see it at the apple stores. Trying to print a ton of documents in most Print Shops tends to be a circus of an experience, esp in downtown DC. Too many people, not enough computers/printers and usually not enough staff for all the customers... That said...I had the BEST experience at this UPS store! All thanks to Faith, who was extremely helpful, informative, and very friendly. She took the time to listen and found the solution to the problem I had. DOG LOVERS DO NOT GO HERE. If i could give zero stars I would. I went in there when I needed to get a package out that day. I also was not able to give my 8 week old puppy to anyone to watch. It was 90 degrees out and humid. I was instructed rudely to not enter the store with the puppy and to leave him in the CAR. I begged and said id stand outside holding him while they processed everything. They ordered me to leave the puppy in the car in the 90 degree heat. Heartless. Animal lovers BEWARE read more

I'm a small business owner and print a lot. I had a small print job and the UPS staff contacted me to let me know the margins were off. I used to go to Staples and would have to call repeatedly to ask if the file was acceptable. Staples was always mediocre quality and service. UPS is so much better. read more

The Ups store on Macarthur Blvd is amazing. It is so because of its people. Everyone there works so hard to make the customer's life easy. I have been in here several times- and the service is the same. POOR. BE SURE YOU PRE PACK YOUR ITEMS because they won't help you and they won't let you buy peanuts and stuff it in the boxes in their store. ALL three people working there were generally in a bad mood- rude- and made me sad. I overnighted an important check to buy a house- and the guy wouldn't let me watch him put the check in the envelope he was like OH DON'T WORRY ITS IN THERE. like sorry I want to worry that's a lot of money and it needs to make it there. I don't understand why people are giving low ratings at this store. Actually, I have been there many times during the past five years. The service is great and they are doing a good job. 1. If you don't have any box, envelope or container for your item, they will pack it for you. I have shipped from documents, books, gifts, to iPad. All are safe and sound. 2. I have also used their printing and computer services, the staff printed my documents according to my special needs. They are fast and helpful 3. They are fast at dealing with lines and finish the entire shipping process faster than MacDonald. Overall, It is a good store. The parking is poor since the lot is small, during school hours around 3pm the lot is usually packed with parents and kids. read more

The young men who have worked here for several years are lovely. They are efficient, good at what they do and great at customer service. But I have not seen them in several months. The new people tend to reflect the owner: abrupt, rude and a bit sour. Even though this store is a part of my neighborhood, I will no longer use them. Great customer service and kindness are a given. I had a really positive experience here. I brought 4 packages to mail and just as I walked in the store's internet went down. The staff (Rachelle) pivoted and had to take down some info by hand and promised both a phone call and email once the system came back online. They had a long line of customers but didn't get frazzled and true to their word I got a phone call confirmation and email with tracking info the following day. The test isn't whether a business has a challenge - rather it's how do they adapt and ensure consistent quality customer service during that challenge and they passed the test. i rarely deliver package because of my social anxiety but when i went to this ups stop they had great customer service everyone made me feel at home and welcome i came in today and i was serviced by a worker named Elise they where very polite and chipper it gave me a boost to my mood i explained to here that i needed a small item delivered she walked me threw the process with patience by the end of the experience my package was handled with care and delivered and i was happier then when i entered in conclusion i highly recommend this ups to anyone in the area do to the cozy and home like experience ! read more

I received a package via UPS and noticed it was addressed to the prior owners. I put the package on the front door step with a note so UPS would take it the next day. They didn't take the package. I put it in my car, drove it to the nearest UPS store and explained to the guys working what happened and that I wanted to make sure to give the package back. They told me they couldn't take it that I had to give it to my UPS driver. I tried to explain to them how this makes no sense and how I took the time to drive this package here to do the right thing and make sure it made it back to the sender. They told me I could throw it in the dumpster outside of the store if I didn't want to take it back to my house to give to my UPS driver. I left it in the UPS store and walked out. As I pulled into my garage the UPS man was re-delivering this package to me, incorrectly. Unbelievable! read more

Do not use this store! I had spent 4 months working on a cross-stitch for a new baby in the family, and they LOST IT! There were only two customers in the store, and five employees, and they managed to switch our packing labels and deliver BOTH packages to the WRONG ADDRESSES! Note - the package labels both had box sizes on them - one was 15" by 18" and the other 4" by 6". so the confusion was PURE STUPIDITY! I will never, ever, ever, use this location again, despite the fact that it was sorted out eventually, I was not offered any refund. read more

This may be the worst customer service I've ever experienced....and I've been in a bunch of DMV's. The manager and associate on duty were alternately dismissive and aggressive. Had an important package that I paid to be overnighted on 12/26 for 12/27 delivery. I didn't get there until today. I returned for a refund. I was told that no packages went out on 12/26 due to Christmas Day observance. OK I understand that. Both the manager and the guy who took my package on 12/26 insisted that all customers were told that no packages would be sent out that day. That just didn't happen. It was important that it arrive 12/27, and if the associate would have said as much, it would have changed everything. Not only would they not cop to the mistake, but the manager got real abrasive (before I even had a chance to). I had been using this store for the past decade, but I'm done with it. read more

This place is useless and I am surprised that they are still in business. The staff is rude and unhelpful. They acted annoyed when I entered the the store to make copies and notarize a document. The copy machine was broken and they did not have a notary on site that they advertise. The store had 0 customers and 2 employees of which one employee was obviously on a personal phone call on her cell phone. Step it up and hire some competent people and offer some professional services. read more

The staff are really nice. The issues are the prices. The prices are so high that I can't bring my self to have my items packed or shipped with them. It would have cost just about $100 just to pack and send an 18inch sized box to California. $27 just to place them items in the box and nothing was fragile. $65 dollars just to send it ground shipping. I took my things and went to the post office which has horrible customer service but the price was much better. the staff was wonderful, the store was well kept but the prices were horrible. read more
