I should have looked at the previous ratings before entering this store. Exceedingly poor customer service. UPS made a very bad business decision when they decided to lend their brand to anyone with enough money to buy a franchise. The people in the stores don't realize that they are representing UPS. They behave as if they are working for the US post office and can get away with being rude and unpleasant to their customers. Wake up UPS, your franchisees are destroying your brand! Imagine a UPS store that does not accept a UPS package - now that's poor service!!! Recently I went to this UPS store location to ship a package to one of my customers who wanted to use their own UPS account number. It was a last minute request and the UPS truck was parked at this particular UPS Store. The clerk told me that they would not ship the package unless I paid the extremely high "no account" rate. The charge was nearly 3 times higher. I am surprised that corporate UPS allows them to pull this scam off. They lost any future business from me immediately. If you are looking for outrageous shipping fees without courteous service - this UPS store will exceed your expectations. read more

this Was a horrible experience. Ellie the manager Does not Speak English. They said they would finish my Package and Ship It. Sold Me insurance For $18. 11 days later My package got returned Damaged. Nobody called Me . I did get My package back with contents damaged. They denied all claima and argued with Me. Never even Tried to sell Me pack and ship Garauntee. Dropped off a prepaid packaged for Amazon and asked for a receipt for tracking. The middle aged man behind the counter became very rude and took offense over me asking for a receipt. He gave me the receipt and he literally threw my package in to the back bin. Not caring if the package has breakable items or not. Amazingly RUDE! read more

I went in to mail some pre-paid packages and one of my two printed packing slips was not printed dark enough. The man who helped me told me, "Nope this will not work. I'm sure you knew this would not work," with an attitude. No, obviously if I thought that it wouldn't work I would not have wasted my time coming in to the store. He was very rude. While this was happening, another man that worked there proceeded to find a way to help me and mail my packages. The second employee was very helpful and kind, but the man who helped me referred to him as "the new guy". I did not feel that the first employee was helpful, nor did he have a professional attitude. This is a great UPS store! I have used them several time both to ship and for notary service. They are always professional and helpful. They make shipping easy because they can just handle the whole thing...I am not a professional at shipping and sometime I just want someone to take care of it for me...and they do so and very nicely thank you. read more

Terrible customer service - I stopped in for notary services, was told to wait there was a customer ahead of me. The very rude clerk/notary then told me to come back in an hour because he was going to lunch. Never mind that I was on my lunch hour tyring to get a document notarized. Went in to Drop off a return that UPS had delivered to me only a few days before (Same exact packaging) Granted it was marked with hazardous materials stickers due to the batteries it contained, But again all the proper marking and forms were on the box are required by UPS. Again the exact item and box were just shipped to me via ups days before. Almost a week passes and the company I bought the item from calls me to tell me that the tracking number still shows the item at the UPS store. I call this store where i dropped it off at, I explain the situation, I am told that sometimes with returns the tracking info does not update until it's delivered and if I have any other concerns I should call Cooperate UPS. I do and am told the same thing by them. The next day (a week after dropping it off) I get a call from the company I purchased my item from. I was told the UPS store called them and told them the box is still sitting in their store and they will not ship it due to the Hazardous material stickers on the box and that i needed to go pick it up. Again this exact box with all required documentation that was delivered to me the week prior via UPS. I have no clue why they decided to wait a week before deciding that they did not want to touch it. When I went in there they were rude and could careless about helping me. I was told if i wanted to ship it I might be able to drive down to the hub in sylmar to drop it off. The employees here are a joke! Find another location if you need to use the UPS Store as this one SUCKS! read more

I came last night around 5pm to ship a Christmas package out to Texas. It's a week till Christmas and I was the only customer there!! Totally beats the post office! The employees were fabulous and helpful! I will come here next time I want to ship packages out! Had a horrible experience at this location. I give one star as the store owner tried to make it right but in the end the staff is inept. Sent all 3 boxes of Christmas and birthday gifts to Memphis TN in stead of Tacoma, WA. Steve, manager, did get the boxes back and resent to my son. This is after almost 3 weeks in total. In the end after all that travel, 4 glasses in bubble wrap were broken and a stainless steel pot, in original package, was dented in on the side. Called the store to complain and the employee who answered did not know Steve. Go to Fed Ex. read more

my husband dropped off a pre-labeled package for Amazon at this location and it was never heard from again :(. we checked for se real days to see if the tracking number showed up in the system and there was no record of it. ugh. so now we are out the price of the item we were returning!! I was one of the many there on 11/3/2015 waiting for a notary. I just wanted to Yelp my experience when I saw the negative Yelps from the other people. The poor Notary guy was way past his lunch time helping people with notaries ahead of me and was trying to handle it as professional as possible. I felt really bad for the guy. Some people became angry and verbally abusive. He was firm and kept his cool as best as he could. He asked if I would mind coming back after his lunch hour and it wasn't a problem for me. I guess we have to understand they are not machines they are humans. This is a non appointment service and we can't always expect their schedules to bend to our schedules. If I was strapped for time I would have called first to make sure there would be a notary there. I could never expect someone to skip their lunch hour. Some things are just out of our control. They provide a service to us, they are not slaves at our beck and call. Kindness and understanding goes a long way. Lunches happen, it's a part of every business across the world. I came back later and was treated with courtesy and respect. My notaries were done and were shipped for me. I thank you for being there! read more

I shipped a high value item from this store and UPS lost the product due to the employees not packaging the item properly. Only a portion of the package arrived at the intended receiver with my item no where to be found. I opened up a claim for my lost product with UPS and this store. After 4 weeks my package contents had been found by an alternate receiver who was kind enough to fed ex the package contents back to me. Luckily my item was not damaged. I wanted to get a refund for the original shipping amount, since I paid this store to ship it to the proper place and it got damaged/ lost in transit and ended up in the wrong place. Since working my claim with UPS and the store I have been very nice and patient. The manager has since taken the stance that UPS said the package was delivered. Well what about the fact that only 19 inches of the 45 inch package was delivered with no item inside per the original receiver? The manager Rikki has not been helpful and every time I speak with her she has no interest in assisting me secure a small refund for the amount I paid this store to ship my item. I would take your business elsewhere. read more
