This has been one of my favorite UPS Stores, and I've had many good experiences here. The owner and most of the staff have always been friendly, helpful, and professional. I can normally drop off a package and be out the door within minutes. Unfortunately, my most recent visit changed my impression. I stopped in to return an Amazon package that contained 16 small lights. The package had arrived to me in that same configuration, so I simply wanted to return it the same way to keep the products protected. A female employee opened the larger box and told me that the item didn't need a box. I explained why I had kept it packaged that way, but instead of simply helping me with the return, I felt like I was being lectured about how I should have packed it. She made a comment along the lines of, "You just need to read the instructions." I understand that there may be packing requirements, and I'm always willing to follow them. However, there was no need to make me feel like I was being talked down to over a simple package return. I want to be clear that this review is about that particular experience, not everyone at this location. I've always enjoyed dealing with the owner and the other employees, and they have treated me well. Still, customer service matters. After this experience, I honestly don't feel as comfortable coming back, at least for a while. I'm changing my rating from 5 stars to 4 stars. I'm sharing this honest experience with my 135 million Google Maps readers because I believe businesses should receive both positive feedback and constructive feedback when something doesn't go well. read more

For context: I ship primarily via UPS and frequent the Burien and downtown Seattle locations. This Tukwila one is the THE BEST. I was dreading a long holiday line dropping off a trunk full of packages 10 days before Christmas. The two guys working at this store were polite (but not chatty), friendly, and most importantly efficient. I was in and out of the store within 2 minutes!!! Lots of parking on a Saturday, early afternoon. Quick and easy freeway access. 5 solid stars. read more

I don't know where my mail is ending up, but some of it is NOT ending up in my box! This is a disappointment as the rates for mailboxes.......which are NOT printed out anywhere.....,,are SUBSTANTIALLY higher than the US Post Office. I've had a mailbox here forever. These days with package theft on the rise, it's nice to know that your packages are safe and sound. I've moved a number of times increasing the drive here but still find it indispensable so continue with the box. Plus I don't want to change my mailing address. :-) The owner is a great guy and they have a lot of shipping services here if you need it. These services are not inexpensive but worth it. read more

I had the opportunity of doing business with this UPS store as they were recommended as a pack and ship provider for the extremely fragile Hopi Kachinas that I successfully bid on at an online auction. They picked them up at the auction house, packaged them meticulously, and shipped them in a timely manner, and all points in the transaction kept me informed as to the status of the transaction (pick up, packaging, cost, shipment, tracking, and expected delivery) by email. As they were in Washington and I am in New Mexico this was all done by phone and email I confess to being supremely impressed with the customer skills of everyone I dealt with from the owner Thomas to the Manager Natalie, down to the young woman who answered the phones. Each was polite, informed, friendly, and convivial in their dealings with me, and I would not hesitate to give them the highest evaluation possible. They understand customer service and customer satisfaction, and I would recommend them heartily to anyone in need of their services. read more

Would receive 0 stars if possible. Natalie, a heavy set woman with brown hair / blonde highlights and glasses with HEAVY eyeliner, was a total jerk. I had few returns and she was so aggressive and rude how she told me how to sort them. Worst customer service EVER! She also said that I said something that I didn't. If she's a manager, lord have mercy I've never had such a terrible experience at a UPS. If some customers get good service and some don't, what's the point? Where is the CONSISTENCY In addition, the receipt that was printed out for the computer usage (I printed a label) said that I was on the computer for 6 minutes. I started my phone timer the second I sat down, and I was only on it for 2 minutes & 30 seconds. So why is the receipts producing fraudulent information? After I printed my label and packaged my item I had to wait almost 5 minutes for her to come back and bark at me asking me if I'm ready. Like.. she was behind the desk shuffling papers while I was waiting. horrible customer service. Come on Natalie, get it together. I hope the owner Charles O. Berry (listed on the stores business card) sees this and gives her an update on how to treat paying customers. I will never do business with this location again. Gag. After reading other reviews from upset customers, natalie often lies about interactions she's had to cover her ass. i have no doubt she'll lie to the owner to protect herself. this is how businesses deteriorate.. bad management. read more

Definitely should have read the reviews before coming. A complete waste of time. I tried to ship a USPS package, something I've always been able to do at a UPS store. Had to wait outside in the cold and wind because of their slow service with the people in the shop, only to find a handmade sign saying they no longer accept USPS parcels... Terrible customer service from the dude who ordered me out of the store because of the 4 person limit, which he then didn't enforce for the next group of people. I would suggest going ANYWHERE else. A guy named Charles gave me the best customer service I have ever received! Because of COVID I don't want to travel on plane and put my family at risk so I decided to ship the presents. It's close to Christmas but Charles took his time explaining to me what options I am able to choose from to make sure my package comes right before Christmas! This is not the warehouse - the warehouse is at 550 Andouver. You can go there as well, if you would like. But that place is really just a pick up and drop off location. This is a full service UPS Store. And I love it. I've been several times and every time I am greeted with the loveliest customer service. Why can't my guys be like yours?? You're so awesome!! They bring dolly's out to the car and actually bring the packages in for me :-o What what what??!! And they SMILE! what what??!! Kidding aside - very nice guys, thanks. I really like coming here. Eh. I give 3 stars because any other time, the customer service here is A1 and I love that. Seriously... The staff here is so nice! I went in frustrated (mad!) that I was given the wrong key for the door. I had the lovely experience of being helped by the very rude Natalie. This woman is supposed to be the manager. A manager that doesn't acknowledge when a customer is upset. She straight up would not acknowledge the words I was saying to her. She kept telling me that the store had been broken into. Yes, I do recall this. But it had nothing to do with my issue. When I spoke to the owner later, it turns out that she lied on me! She told him that I got upset about her writing while I was speaking to her. No, I was upset because I paid for a DOOR key and expect an answer to my direct question. My question was WHY doesn't this key work? Turns out I was given a box key by mistake. Not her fault at all. Fast forward to the next week. I come to pick up another package. Mr. Berry comes out of the back to help the growing line of customers... While his back was turned she GLARED at me I cannot take this woman seriously. She is quite dumb. That's fine. USPS also has mailboxes. And they sign for packages. USPS sucks and they lose things. But at least I won't have to see Natalie! read more

I don't expect much at UPS and FedEx. They're pretty transactional. But this UPS store is always there with some courteous and friendly small talk and welcoming demeanor, even when I come in to drop off Amazon returns. When I do Amazon returns at other places I am understandably met with some disgruntlement. Here though, they even have cookies out! My parents' house is near this UPS store so I've been here about a dozen times and I see different faces but they are all nice. Maybe it's the hiring process or the leadership. read more

Dont ship anything to this store unless you have mail box with them. I travel all over and I always ship packages to nearby ups store. This is the first time my package didn't get received and now I need to find it somehow at ups warehouse. I am changing the rating because the owner personally emailed and apologized. for a place that advertises a full range of services, this place is a mess. they could not even help me print a simple label without requiring me to send things to my personal email and logging in to my account from their machine. the clerk was hostile and unhelpful. avoid this ups location, they're a disgrace. follow up: drove to another location (on othello in south seattle) who were able to help me quickly and easily. this was not a problem of ups policy, it was the specific people at the specific location. go to a different ups store. read more
