I've had a mailbox at this store for 20 years or so - since right after it opened up. Been through 3 to 4 owners during that time. I moved away for 4 years & kept my mailbox here & had my mail forwarded by them. Every service I have ever asked for from this store has been carried out promptly and with ease, and in a friendly manner too. Came in to drop off a package and was waiting in line. Package was already labeled so just wanted to drop off. Since it was a heavy package(almost 50lb) I set it on the countertop and when there was a pause between the employee and customer I said excuse me but can I just leave my package here since it's already labeled? No acknowledgment what so ever, even the man in front of me noticed it and made a look. She then , without looking in my direction, told the lady she was helping excuse me, walked over looked at my package and said yes and turned and walked away. No greeting no smile no customer service skills whatsoever. Will not come back due to the rude employee. read more

I needed livescan fingerprint service. Went to ups on Temecula Pkway and the lady apparently entered my social security number wrong. I received a letter from the board I was applying for a license and they demanded that I did a new livescan. I had to pay $80 dollars again for her mistake. I went to postal annex and they were very professional and competent. read more

I have gone in several times and always see the same employees. I am saddened that one employee in particular sticks out to me because of her rudeness. She has really dark hair and darker skin and is shorter. While I was shipping my packages, she was on a cell phone, (don't know if it was hers or her friends that she wouldn't stop talking to.) She also didn't charge me for 2 of my packages. So had I not caught her mistake, it was would been a loss for UPS and also my packages would not have been sent out due to no paid shipping on them. Every time I go in she is rude. Needs better customer service. read more

I've been coming to this same store for a while and am very satisfied. Often times with new ownership, customer service tanks. That's not my experience at all. The new manager, Amy, is a delight. I felt like her and the others go the extra mile to make sure my packages are packed and shipped as secure as possible. As a local small business owner, the little things like taping the label to the top so it doesn't come off in shipping is important. The new design is much more pleasant as well. read more

Service was great. I'm writing more about an additional fee I was charged when I picked up a package that was sent directly to this UPS Store. I ordered a product from a reputable business that offered the option to have the item sent to, and held at, a local UPS Store. Since this item required a signature and not knowing if anyone would be home I thought this was a great benefit. I received an email and phone call from the store telling me my package had arrived and was ready for pick up. So far so good. Keep in mind I had used this option before, without incident, when the company used FedEx. Later that afternoon when I arrived to pick up my package I was informed there was a $5 pick up fee. Really a UPS Store that charged extra for picking up a package. Isn't that what they are for? I paid the fee but was a little confused. I called the manager the following day and he confirmed that there was indeed a pick up fee for any package delivered to the store unless that person had a PO Box there. I called other UPS Stores in the area (they are all franchise stores so there can be some deviation between stores) and found two UPS Stores that do not charge a pick up fee if the item is sent via the kind of option I used. It's not the $5 that I objected to but rather the "nickel and diming" attitude. A company that is centered around shipping and receiving should not charge to pick up a package. How can this store justify an expense that warrants an additional charge? I paid enough for the shipment when I ordered the item. read more

Every time I've ever gone in here, everyone has always been so friendly and helpful! The employees really interact with their customers. There is someone here however, that really has helped me in a couple of pinches here, and she really is quite the "techy", lol. Her name is Amy, and she is so sweet, personable and knowledgeable! She really knows her stuff when it comes to scanning, faxing transferring and emailing documents... especially when you're pressed for time and it's of utmost importance! She's professional and you can tell she's experienced. I used to know how to do all this stuff, but since I no longer have Wi-Fi and all that at home, I guess I've gotten a bit rusty, lol. Amy is a huge help for those moments when you need to depend on someone else to help you get these kinds of things done, and in a jiffy! Honestly, she's really such an asset to the store! Freindly staff helped me get my return slip filled out and set up on my cylinder heads. They also ensured they were packaged properly for out of state travel. I took notice that out of every parcel service they are the only ones to wrap the heads and not simply throw them in a crate. This is crucial to ensure that they do not get damaged in transit will be using them again whenever possible. read more

Firstly and importantly the staff and service are outstanding and would deserve five stars if the prices were not so exorbitant. Annie M assisted me today and she was fantastic. This store is convenient and quick when I need to get documentation notarised in a hurry. All the staff are always super helpful and friendly. Needed to send the notarised documents overseas urgently and their quoted postage charge was $25.00. After paying $15.00 per page for the notary an extra $25.00 was not for me. I then had to drive to USPS who only charged me $4.16, bit of a difference. Despite the prices, I really like the staff and their wonderful attitude, helpfulness, friendliness and service. read more

Bad customer service and just overall attitude. Went in about 10 to 15 minutes before closing. I get it she wanted to go home but it's a job. I was at mine so I couldn't make it earlier. ASked if I could print something to mail. Pointed to computer, but wasn't informed theres computer rental time just to print. I was on literally on for 30 secs. I had problems printing and I asked employee, she kind of just walked around but didn't really try to hard to figure out why, just minimum. Response was that everything was just set up today and shrug of shoulders. I eventually figured it out. Come to pay, asked about options for mailing, really felt like I had to ask and pull teeth to figure out options, didnt feel that they were explained well. Given total price tag, I mention that that was expensive. She states its 5 dollar rental for computer. I told her that's misleading, I asked to print was pointed to computer without really a word and not informed it costs money to just use the computer to print. Especially knowing it was closing, so even if I wanted to use the computer for the total time I paid for I couldn't. Now granted there was a sign on a wall of other things posted above computer regarding rental time, you should still inform your customer whose walking around trying to figure out your store by themselves with not much help. Just kind of ignored for the most part. There were two of us standing waiting for help and they were so busy trying to clean to close the store, they neglect the last 15 minutes they are still technically open. The sign says open till 6 for a reason. In my mind, UPS' selling point is supposed to be later hours and better customer service than USPS, which is highly appreciated by those of us who have to work past 5. I wouldn't come back here. This is for the one in Temcula Pkwy, next door to Stater Bros. I find this UPS Store right on the money as far as location and performance. They are very accurate when sending packages, and the people that works there are very nice, and courteous. I saw a review for 1 Star and it tickled me the wrong way. I do not know about the fax situation, but I do understand that a previous phone call would have been enough to find out the price for sending faxes. For package sending this is a very good option, since we reside about 1 mile away. They never fail to hand out the Tracking # (which protects any transaction), so kudos for a good run operation. 4 Stars. PS: I decided to increase the stars by one, for I realize now that this is an outfit that meets all my expectations regarding efficiency, and customer care. The last time the service once again was way above average. Yes, I understand is only a UPS Store, but when an outfit excels in their duties is important that it is noted for what they are. This store uses deceptive practices regarding UPS package pick-ups and customer service is poor. I confirmed a hold for pick up via the UPS web site at this store location and there was NO notification that there was or even may be an additional fee charged by the store for this service. UPS sometimes charges a fee for re-routes but is very up front with the added fees on the web site, and upon seeing no added fee, I selected this location. I received a text and was called by an employee of this location notifying me that my package had arrived and he did not mention any fees being due. I went out of my way to pick up my package and first the lady with what appeared to be pink eye who was handling my ID (ugh) told me they didn't have record of any package in their system, but the guy that called me overheard her asking me for more details and said he had it and she chided him for not checking it in, THEN as they were about to hand it over to me that they told me I had to pay them $5 because the owner of that franchise location decided he could get more money out of people that way and the employees were indignant that I would even question it, refusing to contact the manager, owner, or even UPS and the guy even smirked and chuckled about it. The delivery had already failed to meet the guaranteed delivery date (2 day air and they mis-sorted it) and then this store is holding it hostage until I pay a hidden fee that I was under no obligation to pay as they did not obtain my permission to add the fee to my delivery service prior to me consenting to have the package held at their location. I've used other UPS stores for package pick up when signatures are required and have never been charged a fee. It's not that $5 is a lot of money, it's the principle of the owner's sneaky, greedy business practices that I refuse to be forced into complying with to pick up a package that I own and with a service I've already paid for and I'm certain he's just counting on people to be so desperate for their packages, that they'll begrudgingly pay. I called UPS and they said they've never heard of stores charging a pick up fee, but as a franchise location, it is not their fee to waive, though they kindly had their driver pick it up to return it to the sorting facility to be re-routed for me and said they'd look more into it. It is my understanding that the state of California does not allow the price (eg posted and paid shipping and/or any service fees) to be changed to a higher price after provision of service without proper notice - so I've filed a complaint with the CA Attorney General as well because he's robbing who knows how many people of their hard-earned money! I would like to have had my package now, but I will not do business with someone this low on ethics and our business certainly will not be using them for any further shipments either, but the trade-off is that it'll now take me 6 days to get it instead of the 2 day premium service that cost about $70. read more

The service is outstanding! The store associates eagerly assist in packaging items. They also proactively offer suggestions for reducing cost. The service is 5-stars. The accuracy of quotes is 3-stars or less. I asked them in advance how much to ship a bicycle to a particular address. I provided the specifics about the bicycle. They stated that it would be around $75. I then proceeded to purchase a box, disassemble the bike, and package the bike. When I returned, they quoted about $150. It was puzzling how the original quote was off by 100%. They stated that the package was 4" longer than they anticipated. Somehow, an additional 4" doubles the cost. They were helpful in trying to repackage the bike to reduce the length by 4". We were not successful. I ended up accepted the additional cost. Had I been warned about the sensitivity to length in advance with the knowledge that the price could double, I would not have shipped the bike. I would have purchased another bike at the destination instead. I do recommend this place for obtaining good service, but be cautious about price quotes. read more

We received poor customer service here. Used this store as our business mailbox and frequently had problems receiving checks from my customers at this address. Finally had to reroute all my business mail to another address. Once we did this, our business checks arrived faithfully each month. Would not recommend this business at all. The manager was unwilling to listen or help us resolve our mail problem. read more
