    UPS = Unbelievable Poor Service Customers are always wrong with UPS. This review is based on UPS corporates poor handling of a claim. We sent a care package to our son living in another state. It was carefully packaged, well taped, with airbags to ensure that it was tight. We attached one of the pictures that shows the box before we shipped it with all the items in it but before we had organized it put in the air packs and taped it well. Unfortunately we didn't realize that we need to take pictures of the package as it's being packed so that we can prove that it was packaged well. Another lesson learned. Unfortunately when it was delivered to him it was beat up, torn up and half of the items were missing. The interesting thing is that all of the items missing were the ones of high value such as a really good insulated cup, shirts, and almost $100 worth of gift cards. We were told after the fact that UPS will not insure any gift cards. So basically if you send any to someone and it is lost or stolen, it will not be covered. In addition when we filed the claim after the package was delivered, late and in beat up condition, we had to spend hours filling out all of their forms and sending them all sorts of pictures, receipts of items, etc. After going through all of this their final determination was to deny the claim and say that it was due to poor packaging. We could understand this if it had actually been packaged poorly, it wasn't. And when you look at what was taken it's obvious that someone took all of the things of value out of the package taped it back up and then sent it back on its way. It was theft, clear as day, and UPS didn't care AT ALL that their employees were stealing from their customers. This is the most egregious example of poor customer relations we have ever experienced. The only positive in the whole experience was the owners of our local UPS store helped as much as possible and even refunded the cost of the shipping. Unfortunately they were not able to help to get the claim approved and now we're simply out of money and our son did not get the items and help that we were intending. Lesson learned, next time we need to ship anything we will never turn to UPS. We shipped the package on August 13, 2021 and it was supposed to be delivered on August 20th but wasn't delivered until August 23rd.

    The staff are so helpful!!!! Definitely recommend this location! It's small & convenient, with all that UPS can do.

    This store gets the job done but Sandi is a rude person and Terry is just great. Things are pricier than usps too.
