Unfortunately the reviews are true and you should definitely heed people's testimony on the service here. If you are just dropping things off and don't need any human interaction at all then this place will be a convenient drop off location if you are nearby. My go-to UPS Store is on Beach and Edinger in that Target plaza. They have great service there. Here? Not so much. I usually drop off packages to ship out to customers for online orders. My packages have labels and everything affixed and all I have to do is drop off. I like the security of knowing they receive it so instead of just coming in and leaving it on the counter and bounce- I wait in line and nicely ask for a drop off receipt. Whether it is USPS or UPS Store- I have always done this without an issue. All the clerks are super nice when it was my turn to come up to drop off my package and nicely ask for a drop off receipt "please". I always say please cause I am nice, duh! My first visit here I dropped off a package and asked for a receipt and the lady gave it to me no problem. Didn't say a single word to me like hi or bye just looked at me and gave me what I need. Fine. No problem. I literally came back 2 days later, waited in line and when I came up to the counter I dropped off my package and asked for a drop off receipt please. She looked at me, bothered and says "What do you think I am doing? I have to finish scanning it and then I can do it." Then she say to me, "Oh, I've seen you in here before always in a hurry why do you always come in last minute and in a hurry." WTF?? I've only been in here twice lady. I would have passed it off as her having a bad day but base on the review in the past she's just not professional at all and don't give an F about customers. During these times people value customers so I suggest changing the way you provide your services. You guys are not the only UPS store in the area and I actually don't mind driving further down to drop off and use another store's service if it means not giving you any of my future business. I had to get some documents notarized and Sam Patel helped me out. I read the reviews of this place and was not sure if i wanted to visit it to get this done. I decided to drive to it and it turns out this location was calm, busy (here and there) but the staff was nice and efficient. Sam was very helpful and very pleasant. I had my Driver license and there was no issue. I will definitely come back if i ever need anything else notarized. ( first time having something notarized ). read more

I came here to return my direct tv boxes/receiver since I canceled cable. The female worker who helped me out was very friendly and helpful. Sam is a nice man -- professional and polite. Unlike the lady who works there with him...very rude, racist (yes) and always have that evil glare. It's not ok. She's from the older generation, but needs to understand and learn the basic common manners and be more open-minded. Great service. You don't ever get a huge line like at the post office. Sam runs a great store. He is that kind of a guy that you have to make smile or start a conversation with. I looked behind counter on floor...Big envelope on floor with my last name on it!. Don't go here! Sam is rude and disrespectful. He boarderlines on fraud. Came in to send some packages off to amazon (returns) and he wanted to charge me to package them together (tape them up) even though amazon just said bring the stuff and they will pack and ship it for free. He is rude. I should have listened to the other reviews on here. I ended up going to the store on Springdale and edinger and had great service. I just went to pick up a package that online tracking says was delivered this morning at 10:51am. It was a signature required package that they attempted to deliver yesterday while I was at work. I arrived at 3:00 on Saturday. On Yelp and the ups website, this location is supposed to be open until 3:30. The door was unlocked, and I walked in. They told me that they were closed and they did not get any packages today. I told them that I got an email from ups with tracking that said it was delivered earlier today, but they told me to leave. One of the men said that they'll try to delivered it again before sending it to the store. In utter confusion, I called ups to check on the tracking. While I was in my car talking to ups, I saw a guy on a bicycle ride up enter the store and come out with a package. On the phone, ups confirmed that it was delivered this morning. I asked the rep to stay on the line, so I could go back in to let them know, but the door was now locked at 3:13pm. I filed a claim with UPS. I was in the parking lot for so long that I noticed that the man I was speaking to had put up a new store hours sign (it was not up before). I thought that maybe they had just changed their hours to close at 3:00, so I walked up...the sign clearly states that they close at 3:30. read more

If you have to do an Amazon return, do not do it here. I'm in the process of renovating a house amidst a Covid pandemic. Like I, many have reverted to online retailers like Amazon for shopping needs. To make a long story short, I came with a few Amazon products that needed to be returned. I've never had any return problems at other UPS stores. The older lady, who I'm assuming to be the owner of this family-owned business, was the most unhelpful associate I've come across. She seemed so bothered at the idea of having to print out labels and ship them out. The Amazon page says ANY UPS store will take it free without hassle. That is not true with this location. For owning a business in this field you would think they'd be more helpful on assisting me in the process. She wanted to charge me for boxes to ship them when the products were already boxed, unopened, and labeled. I got so frustrated that I just canceled the whole useless transaction and walked away with my products. Do yourself the favor, drive the extra mile or three to the next UPS store. I'll be doing exactly that. read more

I just found out from two of my customers that checks mailed to me were returned undeliverable. When I called the Stanton UPS store they informed me that my private mailbox account was canceled in March 2022, this being October 2022, and that I have been receiving mail and on several occasions had called to ask if there was mail in my box to avoid a trip to find no mail. Worse than my mail being returned, I had to pay a $30 new account fee and the rate had gone up from $288 to $396 (73%). I of course had to pay the rent and fees since all of my business correspondence has the mailbox address. I highly doubt that I will renew my account after the current subscription period. While writing this review a very courteous associate called me to offer me a refund and the option to cancel my mailbox. He also explained that the rates were increased by the new owners and that previous mailbox holders were allowed to keep the same rates. Doesn't it seem a bit suspicious that I was never given any notice that the account had become delinquent? None would dare call it extortion. read more

I am not sure if this man was the owner, appeared to be. He was incredibly rude. I don't ship many things. I had a return via USPS. i read online that you could utilize a UPS store to do so. This man stated he would not take my package. I politely asked why, and he said his store does not take USPS items. Okay. Fine (my fault, should have called first). Then I asked if that goes for all UPS stores (didn't know) and in a nasty tone he stated I don't know what other stores do. Just zero points on customer service. I would not return to this store in the future based on this short visit. Kind customer inside told me in the parking lot that other locations do accept. And he holds up his palm in my face as if pushing me back saying "wait" and then he tries to get me to buy a box, when I refused since my package already has a box, he gets grumpy and starts handling my package rough. The people that work here are rude and unhelpful. If you ask any questions they get irritated and raise their voice at you. I've never had any issues with a UPS store printing a shipping label for me here they make you do it yourself and charge $1.15 for a single shipping label. That seems crazy to I've never been charged that much for a single piece of paper that I had to print out myself. read more

This middle eastern man that appears to own this franchise is always angry. On my visit today I watched him argue with the customer ahead of me and then refused to do as he asked with his package. Next it's my turn. I have a simple amazon return. He says that he can not scan the bar code from my phone, I must go home and print the label and box it up myself. The short elderly man who received my package the late afternoon of 10/29/18 used few words and was reprimanding when he spoke to me. When I asked him, he refused to tell me the shipping address of my return package (a business that cooperates with UPS). With a scolding attitude he said, "Sir, the package will get there."
