    I used to come to this store a lot but I stopped coming because of how rude and unprofessional the owner Javier is. I've had numerous encounters with him but today was the final straw for me. I'm going to list my counters with him along with my encounter with him today. His behavior is unacceptable, and he really likes stroking his ego because he's the "owner" - Incident 1: My first time coming to this store after recently moving to the area and interacting with Javier the first time. I had purchased an entertainment center from Amazon that was the incorrect model so I went to the store with my father in law to continue with the Amazon return. He looks at the box and says "You need to tape this up, I cant take it like this", so I say "This is actually how we got it from amazon, we didn't even open it, they just sent it like that", he says "I cant take it, I can if you tape it". So I ask "Do you have some tape I can use?" he says "No but you can purchase some tape (points behind us where the overpriced tape is". So I say whatever and ended up taking it to another UPS store that took it without question. - Incident 2: I stopped by for some Amazon returns and of course Javier is right there up in the front to help. I had a few items because we had just moved into the area and we had things that we didn't end up using. So he helps me and every time I'm pulling out items for him to scan, he keeps making comments like "is that it?, anymore" "wow you have alot of stuff" and mind you each time he's saying these comments, he's tapping the desk trying to get me to hurry. Now it might seem harmless but you do not need to keep making comments and making me feel uncomfortable. - Incident 3: I Decided to stop by here again for more amazon returns and some of my fiancé's amazon returns. Upon coming up, Javier helps me again and me remembering the incident from last time where he kept making comments, I decided to voice that most of my returns were my fiancé's returns. He laughed a little and said "So how does it feel to be your woman's bitch?". This immediately struck me the wrong way, I didn't want to voice anything (which I regret) instead I just gave an awkward laugh. One of his employees that also wears glasses was there and he also laughed too. After this encounter I was pretty furious and instead of reporting it (which I also regret), I decided to be the bigger man and let it go. This encounter lead me to start going to another UPS store down the street which I never had any of these issues with. The lady that runs that store is always nice and kind to me. She never makes any comments or tries to overcharge me for things. - Incident 4: This incident just happened right now and it was my final straw dealing with Javier. I had more amazon returns I needed to take today, since it was in the same direction where I was headed and it was almost closing time, I decided to stop by hoping that Javier wasn't working today. Of course when I come in, he is there (just my luck). We proceed with the returns and one of my packages was a memory foam lap rest. He immediately says "I cant take that, I don't have a box big enough for that", so I say "That's how I got it, its memory foam, it expanded once I took it out of the box, there's nothing I can do about it" he then starts an arugment with me and says "Why didn't you pack it how it came? Put it in a box", I said "I can't it literally expanded when I took it out, it doesn't fit in any boxes and the amazon return does not say that I need to pack it" He says "well I'm not taking it" and I say "well okay I will take it to another store" so he finishes scanning my other items and I say "So you can't take it? If you don't even have a box that big, what makes you think I have a box that big?" He says "No but I can SELL you a box for it and you can return it like that"...... Um excuse me?! You just lied to my face and you told me that you don't have any boxes for this! I leave the store furious and decide to call the ups store hotline to report all my incidents with Javier. As I'm on the phone, he's closing up the store while making eye contact with me and he pulls out a golf club to try to look intimidating, like okay dude are you serious? I'm on a call with customer service to report you and you're going to try to look threatning? It made absolultely no sense but this was my final straw with him. Luckily my dash cam caught him leaving the store with his single golf club IN BROAD DAYLIGHT. I can only imagine how many people have dealt with Javier's unprofessionalism and haven't reported it. I highly recommend to report your negative encounters with him. I let these incidents slide too many times, even went out of my way to go to a further UPS store to avoid him. Apart from this reviews, I contacted the UPS Store support line to report the incidents and they will be investigating Javier's actions.

    My last visit I came in close to 5 p.m. with a bunch of plastic bags and looking confused as to where to start and was looking around for a container to ship this in. The gentleman at the counter welcomed me and told me to come up front and that I looked confused. I told him I needed to ship them up north and he took the bags from me, weighed them then asked for the shipping address and calculated the cost. He asked how I heard about them and I said Yelp and I was debating to go to FedEx or UPS but this shop had better reviews. He was really nice and packaged the bags for me and I was on my way. Turns out he was the owner Javier and gave me his card. I've been to UPS stores that are absolutely garbage and the owner was a jerk so it was nice to finally go to one where it's the opposite. Definitely would recommend this UPS store over others.

    COVID19: So, I used to drive further to drop off UPS packages. Look no further. Great UPS store in the neighborhood. AND worth a little extra drive because the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They've been here for about a year. Offering printing, Notary, P.O. Boxes, Passport Services and more! Very clean store right by Coconut Rabbit and 7-11 (a little down from Katella Deli). This will be my go to delivery place now. Check it out.

    Our small condominium community needed to replace our mailboxes due to age, not being suitable for…read moreoutside use and security purposes since we live in the area of downtown Los Angeles. Upon doing my research, I found out that the USPS standards had changed so that you can no longer install these same mailboxes unless replacing existing ones. We knew we did not want the same units. The new standard of mailboxes are cluster units with a parcel locker for larger packages. I found Pacific Mailbox Services through the AF Florence Manufacturing website. Julia, from their office was very patient to answer all of our questions and helped us select the proper unit and even offered advice about how to choose a color. The same mailbox was available from different sources online, but we would have needed to install it ourselves. She informed us that we needed prior approval from the post office before we could even order the unit. It was delivered to their company from the manufacturer in a little less than a month. They came to install it in a very short amount of time and took away the old mailboxes too. The plus to using an authorized dealer is that in the event of any problems, they have the direct relationship with the manufacturer. If we had it installed ourselves, the person doing it might not have experience with this type of unit installation and could have damaged the unit. After installation, we noticed that during the manufacturing process, there were some cosmetic chips in the paint and one of the locks had a problem with one of the keys working. Julia immediately had one of her team come out and use touch up paint on the chipped areas and also had the manufacturer quickly send us a replacement lock and keys which they even showed me how to install! I can do basic repairs, but would have been intimidated to attempt changing a lock on my own if they did not show me how easy it was to do on my own. For excellent customer service and a competitive all-inclusive price, I would highly recommend their business.

My experience: I called the number Listed for an estimate (around 4:40pm today), the phone rang-no answer, "you have reached the voice-message box of ###..#" so I hung up; it sounded exactly like someone's cell phone. Ten minutes later a woman called me saying, "Someone called my phone" I'd forgot this was a business but I knew it had to be them because no one calls me in that manner. I was polite and said yes.. So they furnish and install mailboxes but that's all I got before I was interrupted amidst asking for an estimate. She told me to call them back Monday 'during business hours'. She seemed ticked that I didn't know their business hours (unlisted) and neglected to give them. She also refused to speak to me further; even though she called me back and I left no voicemail requesting it. Either way, I am moving on after this experience. The staff was super friendly and nice, maybe that's because I had my pup in a backpack with me. He generates a lot of interest lol But seriously, everyone was so friendly and accommodating. They greeted everybody that came in. They notarized my document quickly, and I was done in under 10 minutes. The place has things you need like cards and cute little knick knack gifts. I would definitely come here again for their services. I highly recommend them to anyone.

I have a mailbox rental here and they also take care of my outgoing mail or when I need to send a package. I am able to receive packages that might otherwise be left on my doorstep in Long Beach and could disappear and I just pick them up on my way home from work-it's perfect. So I'm relieved knowing that my mail and my deliveries are secure. Every year around tax season I drop off tons of shredding it's unbelievable how much stuff accumulates and the price for shredding is completely reasonable and since I've been using them for more than 10 years I trust them too. OK and I just have to mention their gift shop! Completely unique gifts and cards, I'm not much of a mall shopper and I love to support Robin and her small business I want them to stick around pretty much forever so I can't say enough good things about her business!
