This was my third visit to this UPS location, all for a simple notary service. On my first visit, I was told they preferred that I make an appointment. Fair enough. I went home, scheduled an appointment, and returned. When I arrived, the appointment wasn't honored. So I came back a third time, around 10:00 a.m., when the store was empty. Once again, I asked for notary service and was met with a condescending attitude from the same employee. He told me they normally require an appointment or advance call and that "most people do that," but he would do it for me "this time." I politely explained that I had, in fact, scheduled an appointment on my previous visit and it wasn't honored. His response was, "Well, we get busy and it's a retail store." Make it make sense. If appointments are required, honor them. If they're not required, don't lecture customers for not having one. The rules seemed to change depending on the day, and instead of receiving help, I was made to feel like I was inconveniencing the staff by requesting a service they advertised. No customer should have to visit the same location three times to get a document notarized. More importantly, no customer should be met with snarky or dismissive behavior when asking for a routine service. I won't be returning, and some members of the staff could benefit from customer service training. I'd recommend finding another location if you need notary services. read more

Luanne has terrible customer service manners. Argues with people and moody this is the last time I give them business. read more

been to this location before and had a great experience with another employee, so I was pretty disappointed with my visit today. I only needed two shipping labels printed from an email and was charged a $2.50 "email fee," which I was never charged here previously. When I questioned it, the whole interaction felt dismissive and like I was being charged extra for something that had previously been handled without an issue. I don't mind paying legitimate printing costs, but inconsistent charges depending on which employee is working is frustrating. The other employee I've dealt with here has always been friendly, helpful, and easygoing, which made today's experience stand out even more. I'd appreciate some consistency and better customer service. read more

Great location...in & out, easy parking, first class service.Thank you for your kindness & having a smile so early in the morning Travis :) The store was very clean & well organized & the price that I payed for shredding was very reasonable. This store takes Amazon returns & has a machine that does the returns also in case you don't want to wait in line. If you're looking for a mailbox rental this is a great place, packing/mailing boxes, tape, lots of office supplies etc...they have plenty as well as multiple services for mailing etc...oh, & I forgot to mention there's a Starbucks Nextdoor too :) read more

The UPS Store - Entrance to the store - Shipping Centers Near Me - Scottsdale, Arizona

It's been several weeks post shipping debacle and the owner has not shown the basic decency to return my call. No resolution. By the time by box arrived the bottom was open and items were missing. I will never be made whole expense wise but I would have hoped for at least a call back from the owner. read more

I needed to send a package to Mexico. I handed a piece of paper with the typed address of the recipient, but unfortunately, due to the clerk's negligence, the recipient's address was copied incorrectly. I asked the clerk to verify it on a small computer screen because I am 76 years old and visually impaired; however, the mistake was not spotted and not corrected by the clerk. Needless to say, the package never arrived at its destination. While tracking the package, I became aware of the mistake. I returned to the store with a request to correct the recipient's address, but my request was denied. When the package arrived back to me, I went to the store to ask for a refund for the service that was not performed. I was given a promise and was to be contacted by the store within a maximum of 2 days, but after 10 days, I did not hear from them. I contacted the UPS customer service to ask for help. I was directed from one department to another, and at the end, it was just a waste of time. I recommend finding an alternative shipping service instead of UPS. read more

These guys are always great! Very kind, efficient, and fast! Julian and Allie were very sweet to me and got everything done that I needed. I highly recommend this place- I've never had an issue here read more

Alli is the BEST! I deal with multiple locations of UPS Store for my business in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Scottsdale and not all locations are the same. Some are better than others to deal with and this is by far the most professional, well-run and courteous location I work with. I wish everyone was like this. Alli is so competent and willing to help and really goes above and beyond to work with her customers, sometimes when she doesn't have to. I always have positive experiences at this location but I hope she especially is recognized for her service to her company. read more

this store goes above and beyond in all services. the customer service and staff at this store are amazing! highly recommend!

They made my experience returning some large Amazon items easy and painless! Recommend them based on my experience.

Nicest staff and owners. They go out of their way for my printing jobs. Highly recommend.

Customer service is nonexistent. The young lady who works there (came in Monday late morning/early afternoon) never says anything but one word "receipt " when returning amazon package. No please. No thank you. She looks very unhappy and cranky. This was not a one-time situation. Always read more

I wish I could give Store 7001 a hundred stars! Allie and the team there went above and beyond to help me box an assembled desk to return to Amazon. Allie, packaging specialist, constructed a custom box to box up the desk! And her co-worker, the night before, was exceptionally helpful to offering me a solution to get the desk packaged in a box for return. MANY thanks to both employees there and being such amazing helpers with positive, friendly, sincere customer service to ensure I was fully taken care of! I had a chance to let the owner know of their 100 star customer service to me as well and compliment her on her choice, training and support of her employees to help people like me resolve a very taxing situation! I recommend this store, even if it's out of your way! I am moving and intend to drive back to this store for my UPS needs. read more

We go here all the time! Everyone is super nice. I ship a lot of packages & they always give me a stack of label adhesives.

I have NEVER had better service at a UPS store. period. Needed to get fingerprints done they walked me through step by step and made sure everything was correct. They spent extra time and I felt they cared about every customer that walked in after me. I never write reviews - had to on this one. read more

The staff at this UPS location are super friendly and it always makes the task of shipping a little bit more pleasant.

I use this store several times a week and I'm always impressed with the quality of the service. They are very friendly and professional. Also everything is super organized (unlike some other nearby shipping stores) which gives me a lot of confidence. I can't think of anyway they could improve things. read more

The UPS Store 4990 on East Shea in Scottsdale. In 40 years I would have to say this is my first negative review. I usually focus on positive reviews to help businesses, especially during these crazy times and get over a negative experience when someone is having a bad day, but not in April 2021. Maddie or Madeline, the clerk, at the UPS Store on East Shea #4990 was so incredibly rude and unjustifiably impatient and disrespectful towards me. This needed to be written. I entered the store along with my friend. We both had the same size box to ship. One girl, processed my friend's package in about 10 minutes (quick and easy). I had a fairly new girl and I worked with her but I was now about 45 minutes into not getting it even close to being shipped and even suggested see how the other box was processed for reference. A blonde girl came out from the back, did not say anything to me but asked to see my cell phone with my list. I said I already gave a breakdown to the new person, but Maddie wanted to start over and use my personal cell phone and asked me to unlock my phone. She proceeded to use my phone without consulting me at all, to confirm what she was entering in the computer compared to my phone. When I tried to tell her the amount was incorrect she told me to be quiet she couldn't think. Then I asked for a calculator to help with the breakdown and she said she did not have one. She had my cell in her hand and then proceeded to delete my items off my personal property, my phone. I said you cannot do that, it is my cell phone and my personal property and I need that list for my record. She told me to leave the store if I was accusing her of using my phone. She seriously was so rude and if the cameras and video were on all of this would be verified. All of this would be documented, but she had my cell phone so I told her to stop deleting my list that I needed it. I told her she made me so upset, I was shaking. I have never experienced such rudeness. It was disturbing more than just upsetting.. I am in the service industry and I have a UPS mailbox I have had for years and I have dealt with many UPS locations for years. This young woman, seemed off, like something was wrong with her. The other staff were polite. This girl is ruining your store - if she worked for me, it would be a short-lived employment. No apologies needed as I will never be back. We left and shipped 5 more boxes from another UPS location the same week with great knowledgeable service and polite staff. read more

The gentleman at the counter was rude and condescending. I noticed on their website the same employee (Brad) had a negative google review. Its a shame, I've always had a good experience at this location but this employee is giving them a bad reputation read more

Brad: I showed up at 6:22 with a package to ship to Canada and you winced; asked if I could come back because you were closing in 8 mins. I mentioned I would prefer to get it done now and you dismissed me quoting "it will take more than 8 mins." Utter nonsense, and now I spend my time writing this review and driving further to go to your competitor. Morgan and her mom are great people, and you are ruining their business. read more

Awesome and Convenient location. Best service, friendly staff, made me feel right at home!

We used to have a mailbox here, a few years ago. A family member accidentally sent a Christmas gift to this location last week. I went into this location to find the package - after all, the tracking number confirmed that it was delivered to the mail room. The workers were rude and incompetent. So rude, in fact, I find myself inclined to write this review on my way home. The man working couldn't help me, so I had to wait for some lady to get off the phone. After waiting, she promptly tells me, "Your box has been terminated a long time ago and we probably don't have you package. And I cannot tell you where it is." After repeatedly telling her that I know my box was terminated, I am just looking for a package, she was persistently rude and wouldn't listen to me. We enjoyed this location very much when we had our mailbox. But after this experience, I've been left frustrated. I hope nobody else has to deal with such incompetent behavior. read more
