I frequent the UPS store to have documents notarized and i have had very positive interaction with the Staff, especially ROBBIE the employee that is the Notary. This UPS Store is a 3-minute drive from home, so for that reason it is my favorite UPS Store and I am a frequent customer. I want to give the store 5 stars because their employees are kind and quick, however, customer service is severely lacking from the over 60 female employee (dark dyed hair, easily irritated, easily overwhelmed). When she is working the counter I feel unwelcome and a low-key sense of dread from past visits. The door to the store is a pull-open-only situation, and when juggling lots of packages, this door means several trips from where my packages are stacked outside the door, pulling open the door, stacking them inside the door, repeat. A swinging door would be very convenient for customers, but with the growing RV encampment just steps away on Appletree Dr., I imagine they can't be too careful. read more

I wish I could give NO stars. The employee with the blondish hair is very rude!! I'm sure that Amazon returns are annoying but that woman should not be I'm customer service. My return would only allow me to email a copy of the label. She made me feel stupid. I went over to staples and it was a breeze. Didn't even charge me. Great store. Very organized and clean. The employees are all very attentive to whoever walks in. I never really have to wait long which is why I like this location even when it's busy the wait time isn't too bad. Great place to return a package from Amazon and be in and out. This is my go-to UPS store and all-around printing needs! Always friendly and great customer service here. They were busy today, and I noticed a new associate behind the counter. Lily was doing a great job. You could tell she was in training, but she was pleasant, asked the right questions of both customer and staff, and was processing customers very efficiently. Started out as a great venue for customer service prior to new ownership. New ownership has been less than. Team needs customers service skills and training(often times rude to myself and others). The major reason I selected The UPS Store was because keys were provided to box holders, mail could be picked up anytime. No longer the case due to box holders not closing the door completely(there are several options to correct this rather than to take keys from box holders). Recently an employee was fired for stealing donations. Boxes are too expensive to have services taken away. I'll be ending my membership soon. read more

I Walked in to print a USPS shipping label pre paid pretty simple . there were 3 employees on duty . They all chimed in at the dam moment that it would cost 3$ to send an email of the document and then 0.50 per page . I mentioned that it is quite an up charge to add 3$ for an email to send the document. To which I was happily told to leave . What a blessing it was they told me to leave Because I went to AIM mail centers in Sebastopol down the street . They printed my label and helped me tape my package and include stuffing in the box all for FREE!! This establishment and its low class employees will never receive my business again. I hope that any respectable Sonoma resident would skip the business due to complete and total disrespect of their customers . Avoid the women behind the counter because they have a nasty disposition. Hi Mita - Thank you for your message and acknowledging that the service I experienced was rude. (Though I don't think what you said is actually an apology?) AND what I most hope is that you will see how many people are having negative experiences of your store -- that is a normal thing. Then seek to learn from this feedback to improve your protocols, staff training, etc. To actually ensure that people are actually having the high-quality service you say is your standard. And people's negative experiences won't be solved by telling people they should get information on your prices before coming. I don't consider that a reasonable remedy for what I experienced, and it feels like blaming the victim. How do they do that with postage, for instance? Most stores have similar rates. Most people trust that that will be true, unless a business advertises as being concierge or something. It's not our job to know that your rates are way above market rates (triple!) so we should contact you first. If you think your rates are fine, maybe put that fact in your ads and website, and on a sign on the door? Then people will know. And absolutely train all staff not to tell lies about the other rates, to falsely make your rates seem more reasonable. You say you're proud to be a small business. Then I encourage you to learn one of the methods of being successful as one. Learning from customer feedback and improving how you do business. Not denying how many people are having negative experiences and expecting your customers to be psychic in asking for this information in advance. Oh, and not anonymously attacking someone who dares to share their feedback, as you did with me on NextDoor. I sincerely hope that you will learn and improve from this feedback. Usury!! Rip off. They charged me a $20 to buy a book of 20 stamps worth $13.30, a profit to them of $6.80, then staff couldn't refund my money after I figured out I'd been charged a ridiculous amount.I'm supposed to call 'Jennifer' back tomorrow. I will, but I'm not confident they'll do anything other than give me store credit which I'm unlikely to be able to use. Raley's next door sold me a book for, oh, I don't know...the legitimate cost of the stamps, $13.30. Does USPS charge this store that much to resell stamps? Maybe, I don't know. But if I was a reseller and charged 30% more for the privilege of reselling stamps I'd bow out. Very rude! Had an Amazon package to return and they told me they were going to charge for tape, and a box. I informed them this was a free return by Amazon. They told me "we are independent and don't have to honor Amazon's rules." Very rude about it. I then called Amazon. They credited me $10 and said they shouldn't do that as per Amazon's contract. He told me to pay the amount and he will credit me $10. read more

Nice folks. Had a difficult package to ship. It was a very heavy motor going from here to Vermont. The associate had some trouble figuring out the insurance on it and I couldn't get back so I left it with them and the following day the manager called me back and got it taken care of. The package was delivered on time and my customer is very happy. The only downside to this business is that it's hard to reach them by phone. Sometimes it goes to the main UPS service center and it may take them a while to call back, but understandable with everything being as busy as they are these days. I've been coming to this location for 23 years. The blonde older woman with glasses is one the the rudest associated at any establishment I've encountered. This isn't the first time she was rude. The first time she scolded me because my box wasn't taped "properly", I then purchased packing tape from the store to finish packing my box. She then ranted on as to how customers are so inconsiderate. I went in again today and the same woman was working alone, this time I made sure to bring my own tape so I wouldn't get scolded like a 5 year old. I thought maybe this time she would be a little kinder so I started making small talk, she was completely dismissive and disrespectful to me. I had to purchase a box to send something off. I mentioned I can package it up myself since I was told last time I needed to have my own tape (which I brought). She brought the box out and started packaging my items when I noticed she was struggling I held onto the box and she looks at me and rudely tells me "don't touch it." I then told her that last time I was told I needed to bring my own materials. Again dismissive. I let her continue to use the company tape and she was aggressively throwing my box around taping it. Another gentleman walks in the store and the woman gets all wide eye and busy tailed and greets him with a welcome and small talk. I paid for my items and left without anymore words. I WILL NOT be returning to this location. The UPS store on Stony Point is newer, less crowded, and the staff is kind to paying customers (I will be taking my business there). The one star is for the middle aged brunette woman who's been there for years. And seems to be the only one there some common sense and decency. read more

Rude snarky staff. I took something from Amazon in to return it, had my QR code, like I ALWAYS do. The lady was extremely rude with her tone, not a big deal it was asking for some label I didn't have and wasn't aware it needed. I've never needed one before, and it's never been an issue. It was her tone and attitude about it that was rude. I said, well I guess I have to take it to Whole Foods, and she rudely told me "Well, GOOD LUCK" Went to Whole Foods and laughed with the guy about that, took all of 30 seconds to return at Whole Foods. This is a great UPS store. Since it is independently owned and operated it's not the least expensive. But it's close by and has wonderful employees. They do get new employees and train them from this location. Mita and the rest of the women that work here are knowledgeable and friendly. read more

I come into this location all the time, usually just to drop packages off but sometimes to ship or make copies. Everyone there is super nice. I did have one situation where the item I was shipping broke in transit--one of the newer gals there had packed it--and when they found out that USPS wouldn't honor the insurance (it's a long story) the owner agreed to pay me back out of the store's own account. I found out why they have such a low rating. I brought in 4 small amazin returns and I could tell the staff member was irritated. While I looked up my QR codes I even said ok to assist others. When I was unable to locate one of the codes and said I'm having trouble finding code she took my phone and printed label without asking and then wanted to charge me. I refused stating I wanted the code and she said you have to, I said no I didn't ask you to do that, then she ripped it for early in front of my face and said , now you will have to start your order over. I went here today to print a document from my phone. I called first. The second add were courteous and helpful. I would give them 5 stars. I printed 1 page (double sided questionnaire with minimal writing). The cost for this was nearly $3 which floored me. Just had the worst customer service at the UPS store located at 1415 Fulton Road #205 Santa Rosa, CA 95403. Last week I had to return merchandise and went to this store, I boxed the product sealed the product box and paid $ 28 and change to ship it back, a week later the company called and said the product box was being returned to me because of the wrong address, so I went in and talk to Skylar and Desiree, Desiree said it was her fault and they would call me when the package comes in. Fast forward to Monday February 25th, I went in at 2 pm and asked Desiree about my box and she said yes it just arrived, she asked me if I wanted to resend it I said yes of course then she said, unfortunately, I would need to pay again, when I asked her why she told me it was her fault but we don't provide free service I was floored, I wanted to talk to the manager, and she said they don't have one and if I want to talk to the owner, I should leave my contact info, Then she asked me to leave because I was aking to many questions and disrupting the store, I've never been kicked out of a store, I'm sure the owner will never get this info, nor do I believe this young lady is an Honest Person. Lucky for me I work for a person in the same plaza whose business ethics and staff are one of the best in the industry and would own the fault to keep repeat business I do hope the owner of the UPS store on Fulton Rd cares about what is posted on Yelp and I do hope I will hear from them, I have confidence in people and believe He will do the right thing. In the meantime Go elsewhere, if you want proper service without an adolescent attitude, I can get that from my own daughter. read more
