The UPS Store in Orcutt is Open on Sunday's! That's so Great! I was making an Amazon return today & I didn't have the right return bar code! The UPS Rep went out of her way to help me and made it happen! No one else was in the store at that time! I So Appreciate all she did for me! I ran to Albertsons to get her a box of candy to say Thank You! When I went back , the line was out the door! People were saying it was so nice they were open on a Sunday! Great Staff!!! read more

Customer service is very rude, the tried to, upcharge for boxes when returning TikTok items when they are not supposed to, not explaining charges or policies, not explaining stamp prices to older people who come in, general rudeness & eye rolling from one employee and a manager who does nothing to correct the issue. My last few returns to Amazon at this store were very uncomfortable due to the employee not making any conversation, his loud sighing and eye rolling. Other locations explain you don't need to package TikTok items for returns, and if they do need a box, they tell you first before ringing you up. The Clark ave employee rang up 2 boxes for returns and tried to charge me, then did not cancel the labels which could have been an issue when I went elsewhere to return them. Overall, I have seen a major decline in customer service here and won't go back until that employee leaves. read more

Soo.. I dropped my package off on Friday, early afternoon. I was told by the person at the counter that it would arrive Tuesday, great. Sounds about right. But when I called by daughter on Wednesday to see if it had arrived, she said no it had not. So I hunted around and found the receipt and did the tracking number. It says my package will not arrive until the following Monday! 10 days! And unfortunately, my daughter's birthday is Saturday . I would have thought that sending it a week ahead of time should be plenty of time to get there! Especially considering what they charged me. If the person at the counter had been honest/accurate with me on the timing, I would've probably chosen a different shipping method. It's not the end of the world, but it is disappointing. Hopefully, when it finally gets there it will be in good shape. read more

The 2 men in here that are always working are the most unfriendly people I've ever encountered. They literally will not speak to you. The hours listed are not accurate. Often times I've gone and they've been closed early or for the day with a hand written note. Recently I went and they were closed with doors locked during business hours and the man came out and said he was having a smoke break that he's entitled to. Overall creepy vibes from them. My whole family was waiting for a gift and they didn't knock or anything they just looked thru the glass and left a note (all on video)

The hours are wrong, i sat in my car from 8:10am on a Monday until 8:30 , I've watched 4 people walk up & walk away. A lady waiting in front of me mentioned that their published hours are wrong, he laughed & said "yeah they are." Even though I spelled everything out for him, he rushed through with a rude attitude & I had to respell everything because of his lack of attention. We do not have a printer here in Orcutt, so I went to the library hoping to print a 10% off Target coupon. (46 inch LCD $379 with addtl. 10% off! I know I'm a good shopper!) Well Orcutt's library is closed on Fridays boo! What to do?? A very nice man asked if he could help me- I explained I just moved here and need to print something- He referred me to this UPS store. I explained my situation to the lady working here- I am looking to print a coupon from the Target website. She said no problem and totally hooked me up with her computer to print it! Who does that anymore? She only charged 54 cents to save me 38 bucks!! I will use this store every time I need to buy stamps or ship something. The lady working there is very nice, Zoe however is very protective not so friendly to strangers. You don't have to worry about Zoe as long as you stay on the right side of the counter! read more

While this review is truly intended for UPS as a whole, my only option is to write my review where my experience started... that leaves me with writing the review on this UPS Store. I sent out my package, a large box containing some 1980 nostalgic computer system (think large clunky, yet very sturdy material!) from this UPS store after making an online sale. I was very careful to pack the contents in such a manner that they would be protected from the expected and necessary jarring and bumping that occurs during shipment. I even filled in all the loose spaces with packing to make sure things would not shift around and cause damage to other items in the box. The clerk there was a very friendly and helpful individual, suggested a little more taping, sold me the shipping insurance, etc. Off the package went. About a week later I receive a scathing email from the buyer... "what happened to the computer I bought?!" Pictures followed and holy ____!!! We have all seen on the news the horror stories of UPS doing the drop kick shipping/drop off method to packages. There is no way this shipment did not receive that exact same treatment! The bottom of the box had a nasty puncture in the shape of a nice triangle, suggesting that it was dropped on the edge of a table, or rack, or different box... obviously it hit something. The computer inside, busted up pretty terribly! Again, this is 1980's plastic, the heavy duty stuff made of all the material no longer allowed in manufacturing... thick, heavy plastic. A few other items suffered a bit of damage as well. I immediately called UPS up to make a claim. Went through the whole gambit of having to provide pictures from a thousand different angles, providing the box's shipping rating, etc. Despite the box being rated for well over the weight of the shipment, I was denied my claim. I pointed out the packing, the damage to the packaging, etc. Denied. Horrible service, unprofessionally handled and just trash. That you UPS, for not taking care of, nor for being responsible for the package I entrusted in your care and paid you to ship. That will be the last. read more

Customer service is your best tool to keep customers. Yet this was not the case today. I dropped a USPS package that is was returning to eBay seller. I asked the man at the counter on Friday at 11 AM. I was told this is not the post office and he tossed the package on the counter and the post office is in Santa Maria. I left the package at the Ups store with no receipt. The lack of a good person behind the counter is actually really important. USPS is where I recommend you take all of your packages if possible, if not another mail store is probably more in tune to your needs, read more

NEVER go here for finger printing. It was extremely unprofessional and I had to do it completely by myself. My finger prints are all smeared and will not be accepted by my employer. I now have to go somewhere else and lose the 60 dollars I spent here to get them done. read more

Tyler is awesome, and kicked ass today. I'm returning a mandolin (poor craftsmanship) and hadn't thought much in terms of packing, luckily, the man's an expert. As an afterthought I got nervous about returning the item without haven taken any pictures, showing the condition of the instrument. However after calling the store and explaining my predicament, Tyler agreed to snap some photos in the store for me and to send them presently.
