I recently got my passport photo taken here and had such a pleasant experience. The gentleman who helped me was very knowledgeable about the requirements as he let me know that my picture would most likely be rejected because of the white cardigan I was wearing. It took about 10 minutes to get my phone taken, pay, and receive my photos. I opted for the physical option but they also have digital. I did pay about $21, so it's a bit pricey, but I didn't mind since I needed the photo. read more

Never use the notary service from Q. AGBAYANI in this UPS office. My document was rejected for apostille because she made an alteration on her notary stamp, an error that should never happen with professional notary services. What made it worse was that she did not apologize or take responsibility for the inconvenience and delay it caused. Very disappointing experience and lack of professionalism. read more

Stopped in to get a card laminated. Good price. Friendly staff. The guy knew what he was doing. But the girl that finished the card did not. She went to round the edges and just ended up cutting the corners off. Now it's just paper on the corners and not laminated letting moisture get in which just defeats the point of lamination. So now I wasted my whole lunch and will need to spend another lunch at a different store in hopes they do it right. read more

Not sure why this place has 3 stars only. We've been here for multiple reasons. Notary, shipping, receiving, and of course, Amazon returns. They recently remodeled which is (I have to guess) slightly worse for the staff since it seems like there's less space for packages, but it does flow slighly.... better? The staff is always helpful and willing to help. Instead of brushing off people and telling them to use the self service kiosk, they encourage you to come to them if they're free. The reason I had to give it 5 star was because of a specific interaction I had. We were going on a road trip and it was 4th of july weekend. There was an error and issue with my tracking number so I never got the notification until day 3. They can hold things for 5 days and the tracking number said the package was at another location. I went to the other location and it wasn't there. After about 2 hours on the phone, we track it down to this location, that's closed because it was a Sunday. We had to leave that day and called this store. After a few discussions, one of their employees (after some convincing) held the package longer for us, allowing us to pick it up after we got back. Major props to the staff here. Yes the parking sucks, but you just have to walk a bit. There's usually parking in the front or around the corner. If not here, behind the gym for sure will have a spot. read more

We love this UPS store! Every time we go here the line goes super quickly or there is no line. And the people there are very chill and respectful, whereas the UPS right by our house, there's always an issue when we try to do amazon returns. This UPS store has never turned us away or required us to purchase another box on top of the box that we already brought to complete an amazon return. So strange how our closest UPS store does that, it's almost as if they are doing that to make us pay extra money for things that we don't need! My mom and I needed Malaysian passport photos, and Queenie took the time to carefully follow all the requirements. She was patient, professional, and even helped adjust my mom's hair to make sure everything was perfect. She gave us extra photos for free just in case. I came by this UPS Store because it was along my route going home from highway 880. I needed to drop off an Amazon return package and it is typically easy for The UPS Store to scan the bar code on your phone and you don't need to pack the items. My return had multiple bar codes and they made it easy to get everything returned and shipped off. The only challenge I ran into was the parking. The spaces were pretty filled up in front of the stores so I had to park a little farther out on the Yogurt Land side. read more

I have been coming to this ups location for a few years and I have always had good experiences. Princess is usually who helps me. She always provides such good support and helps me in all the different services I have gone in for. I always enjoy my short convos with her and she's just so sweet and friendly! I have become familiar with another employee, (I am not sure of his name but he is a young man, longish hair) who is helpful as well. A word of caution when you are planning to run your shipping errands on the weekend - most UPS Stores are closed on Sunday! I managed to sneak in a trip on Saturday so there was no problem with that. This store had frequent visitors in and out just before noon. A lot of them were Amazon returns so those were easy and didn't really end up in a line. I had to mail a package internationally to Canada. Instead of hand filling out customs forms, I was helped by an associate through the entire process. They input all of the information via computer and had me confirm on screen whether my information was correct. I was shipping a computer monitor via UPS Standard (I was told this was the base method for shipping internationally) and the total came out to be $70 USD. It was a little higher than what I had expected compared to the online calculator but not the worst. The box that I brought in was actually open and the employee that was assisting me ensured me that he would be taping it up securely. I didn't actually watch this happen so fingers crossed, my monitor gets to me in one piece! read more

I would give this store negative star if there is an option for it. Extremely rude staff. I attached her picture here. I came to this store to return an Amazon package. Even though they have a paper bin, she refused to let me put paper there. The ironic thing is the bin is full of paper. I then asked reasonably to speak with the store manager but she told me there is no manager and refuse to give her name. This person is not suitable for customer service, and if you were to retain her, better to put her on a course to understand what is proper customer service, before she turns all your customers away. read more

Parking is not that bad since the vehicle turnaround is quick. One afternoon, around after work (6pm-ish), I decided to skip the longer drive to the UPS closer to my work place since there was one next to my other stop (my Boba). Excited for my one-stop-shop adventure, I opened the door and well, it was locked. The people inside had this "I know you're there but I'm pretending that I don't", kind of look. Hi, the doors are glass, I know you can see me... Sigh. I turned around and headed to my supposedly second stop (now the only). UPS can't look at a clueless customer and just mouth a "we are closed" . Only this shop location, so far. My box was labeled and all I needed was to drop it off. Rant. Rant. Rant. Rant. Received the BEST customer service at UPS Store #6381 in San Jose Saturday at 4:00 PM PST 2022-03-12 getting our son's passport photo. Jennifer and Quinny turned a difficult situation into a success that me and my wife's day. We wanted to take our son to travel as covid cases are reduced and needed passport photos. Our son is 2 years and 6 months and not used to going to unfamiliar places with unfamiliar people. (If you are a parent, you know) Jennifer and Quinny went above and beyond, entertaining my son with peak-a-boo, singing Cocomelon songs to make our son feel comfortable at the UPS Store, and were patient to help to get the photo taken even going beyond the scheduled closed time. I only wanted to drop off an Amazon return package. I wish there was a section in the store where I can easily drop off my package and get a receipt printed. I feel that this store needs to be run more efficiently, but otherwise, it's a tiny UPS store that gets what you need done. Eventually. Only one person was working the front and helping customers while two more were walking around in the back handling supplies. I was second in line and it took 15 minutes before I was helped, and that's only because one of the other workers ended up coming to the front counter and opening a cash register. The line went out the door and honestly, one person isn't enough to work the front when there are so many customers. Also, the lady who was the only person working the front looked like she really didn't want to be around customers or people. She had this glaring look in her eyes when she saw how long the line was. This is my go-to UPS store even when it's not the closest one to where I live. The staff here is welcoming and Robert and Jenn are friendly and really helpful. I've been coming here more often ever since pandemic started because I need to routinely ship computer equipment out to colleagues. The team here always checks my packaging and ensures items inside are packed well. One time I came by a little bit too late for overnight delivery and Jenn showed me which store I could go to for drop off to still make my delivery. Store can get busy at times but I've noticed 75% of the time it's Amazon returns so the line moves quickly. read more

I usually come here to drop off Amazon return packages. There's never a line so I'm pretty much in and out in less than 3 minutes. Even if the store man is attending to another customer and notices you have a drop off package, he'll quickly take your package and give you a receipt. A warning for those who go here to return Amazon orders. Even though Amazon say it's free of charge to drop it off here. This store requires that you print your own label. From what I understand what the clerk told me, to use their devices here, they'll charge per hour (1 hour minimum) to use their computer and printer if you need it to print a label. So that's roughly $10 to use a computer plus printing charges for the paper and ink. "It's a service!" they said... I had some time so I went across the street to print at fedex for 15¢ plus tax and came back to wait in line again for the drop off. That was unpleasant experience. I would've been happy if they charged me 50¢ to print from their label machine but that was not an option. Better luck next time! read more

I would not even give a star if that was an option. Such horrible store and its representatives..they dont take more than 4 returns at a time which is very stupid, i brought a large box , they asked me to go to another store because they said they dont have space to keep it and asked me to go another UPS store.. They charge $5 for a print out where as Fedex does it for 22 cents.. Very arrogant people and they work as if they are making a favor for you. Terrible store just dont go there. read more
