I visited this UPS Store today, and once again, the same employee helped me with my international shipment. He's assisted me at least 3-4 times now, and every time he makes the process so much easier. International shipping can be tedious and confusing, especially when trying to fill out forms online, which is exactly why I always come in person instead. He wears glasses, a hat, and has a beard, and I keep forgetting to ask for his name because I would love to acknowledge him properly. He truly deserves credit for how helpful and professional he is. The store is located on a busy street but has convenient parking with spots near the coffee shop next door and pay-by-minute meters across the street. The store is also accurate with their posted hours: Monday-Friday: 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Sunday: Closed Overall, thank you to the one employee who is always there to help. Mark the guy with curly hair and a septum piercing got mad at me for asking to make a quick drop off at 6:17pm when your closing time is 6:30pm. I was in there for less than a minute it's not like I came at 6:29pm. He was trying to put out the rolling gate and I just asked if I can make a quick drop off and he made a loud "UGGHHHH", made the most dramatic eye roll, then said "RIGHT THERE." to the computer he wanted me at. Train your employees man that's actually ridiculous. read more

Discrimination!!! I had an extremely disappointing experience at this location (#5037). I was standing in line to return a package, with a African American man in front of me and a White man behind me. The sales associate, a White man, assisted the first customer ahead of me by printing out a return label. However, after finishing with him, the associate completely skipped over me and directly addressed the customer behind me. When I pointed out that I was next in line by saying, "I am first," the associate dismissively covered his ear, claimed not to understand me, and rudely stated, "I don't do returns. Do it yourself at the machine." Yet earlier, when the first customer asked, "Do I do the return myself?" after printing his return label, the associate responded with, "Of course not, unless you want to do it yourself, ha ha ha," and proceeded to complete his return process. This behavior was dismissive and inconsistent. If the associate does not handle returns, why was assistance provided to the customer ahead of me? Skipping over me without even asking what I needed felt unfair, disrespectful, and entirely unacceptable. This experience left me feeling unwelcome and singled out. Do not go to this location unless you're prepared to be treated differently. read more

Don't go to this UPS store, worst customer service. I dropped package with the label saved on the email, i showed them & asked for print it out. Guess what they said? Both manager & employee said I have to pay $3 to log into their wifi and print myself. They must be out of their mind, I didn't ask for print service for my own documents, I asked to ship package with a prepaid label. I left and went to the other nearby UPS, it took them 5 seconds to scan & print the label!! read more

I need to put in a complaint about your employee Jonathan (as it says on the receipt) there at store #5037 I was in the store today and left at 11:41am after he assisted me with a package I brought in to send out. He was talking to me so fast and telling me rates like as to get me out of the in a big rush; there was no one else in the store at the moment and one other employee. He's demeanor was rude and abrupt was the best way to describe it. When I decided to change the original box I had placed my package to send out in, he dropped it carelessly. Then when having to sign he rolled his eyes when I let him know I had my own pen to sign. I prefer not to use others thing because of Covid. My over all experience was unpleasant. I promise you I thanked him even with all his actions and words. I put insurance on my package but to be honest I left thinking he may actually tamper with the package... I have been coming to this UPS store since I moved back to SF. Mark and everyone who works at this location is reliable, kind, and knowledgeable. I lead a very busy lifestyle and the ocean avenue location is always able to get me in and out of the store in a timely manner. For all UPS services I prefer to come to the ocean avenue location even though it's a little bit farther from where I live. This location is the best, and it shows. read more

Unreliable store. The store manager said they're open till 6:15p to do fingerprints and I got here at 6:05pm and they won't take my fingerprint. If so the manager shouldn't say clients could drop in until 615p. I rushed all the way here for nothing. And rude customer service and people working here have no manners at all.
