Almost every time I use this location, I feel I'm being shaked down for money--regardless of the return instructions I received from the seller. Didn't print out the return label? $3.00! Didn't bring a shipping bag? $3.00! I will do my best to AVOID this location in the future, despite the fact that I live near by. WARNING: So you don't experience a shake down when using this location, regardless of what your return instruction say, I recommend that you bring a printout of the return label, a shipping bag, and just to be on the safe side, I would suggest you even bring your own tape! Quick and easy on a Wednesday afternoon. I ran out of shipping tape so it wasn't really secure but one quick question to the employee and he took care of it. There's a street called Tiffany that says no parking but was able to park and get it done quickly without blocking traffic. read more

I wish I would give zero stars!! I visited this UPS Store this morning and was helped by Olga, and unfortunately the experience was TERRIBLE! She was rude, unprofessional, and acted like she didn't want to help at all. When I walked in, she didn't acknowledge me or even speak. She stayed seated for a while doing absolutely nothing before finally getting up to assist me. On top of that, she was slamming the items I was returning to Amazon, which was completely unnecessary. Olga definitely needs better training, customer service skills, and a reminder to treat customers with basic respect. This business is going to suffer with an employee like Olga representing them. BEWARE: If you make an appointment online, they might not see it. After using the UPS website to secure an appointment at this location, after receiving two confirmation emails, we organized our day around getting important time-sensitive documents notarized, only to show up and hear "the notary stepped out for the day." Extremely frustrating. The cashiers blamed the website and not being able to see what appointments are booked. They helped us find a different notary in the neighborhood, which was nice, but that should be unnecessary. Please honor your appointments. Otherwise, as long time customers of this location, the regular day-to-day service here is good and friendly. read more

Post office around the corner closed minutes before I arrived. I left to head on my next errands and see "Postal Services" on the window of this UPS Store. Great! I have a small item in a tyvek envelope weighing well less than a pound and I tell them I need to mail it. They do all the measuring and weighing and tell me it's $17. Ummm...those are parcel rates, not mail rates. I inquired what postal service rates they have and they said UPS Ground was it. I advised that this is much less at USPS and the guys behind the counter said, "well then just take it there". Then the fibs began: 1. "We have to mark it up because USPS is right around the corner" - wonder what UPS has to say about this policy 2. "It would be $19 at USPS" - false I questioned why they had signs in the window and above the counter that said "Postal Services" and I got another fib: 3. "Those are old signs" Sorry...you can have high prices and maybe incorrect signage, but you lie to me, I'm never spending my money there again and I'm going to let people know. I'm here all the time to drop off pre-paid packages, getting boxes or packing assistance, and to pick up mail and packages for a client who routes her deliveries to this location. The staff is patient and helpful - they have a million things going at once and do a good job of remaining calm even if the customers are abrupt. I didn't get the young man's name but he was very helpful gave me the password n their email so I can have the label sent to them,so I can mail off my Chargers to Samsung and be able to get new ones very reasonable the small package the little bubble bags.( $1.45) You could have something fax can make copies there they have a table they even have p o box,so if you want to get stuff mailed there if you need anything UPS,fax or FedEx come check this place out. The people who own and work at this store are great. I needed to ship a gift to friends back east and they did a great job of packaging it up and preparing it for shipping. UPS rates aren't the best, so sometimes it's worth walking around the corner to see how much a package costs to ship via the post office. They can't control the rates though, so I give 5 stars on service. read more

This place is a godsend for those working from home in Noe Valley. The staff were cheerful and enthusiastic at helping me with a long series of printing, faxing, and shipping tasks throughout the summer. (As they get to know you they can grow quite chatty, for better or worse.) The only drawback is that they don't have customer-accessible computers in the store, so to print you need to put something on a CD or a jump-drive before going in. read more

Came in on one of the last Sundays leading up to Christmas. Since original plans of seeing family in person were canceled this year, I (along with half the neighborhood it seemed) went in to ship a bunch of gifts off to family in lieu of in-person exchanges. You could tell that the employees have been working nonstop given the new reality of the holidays - lines to get in were long and the phones constantly rang. But once I got in the store, the employees were extremely friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Paulo who was a lifesaver when I asked a million questions, since it was my first time shipping items out via UPS. Amazing service! read more

This location provides horrible customer service. I dropped off my package on Thursday, May 26th. It was a package that was going to a Cobbler. So you know what that means, that there were VERY expensive items in there. Anyway, they have CCTV there and they said they were going to look and see what happened to my package. They never did. I was told that their employees never even scanned in my package. So clearly, someone at that location stole my package (or there was a robbery that day which hasn't been reported). This location has not returned my emails, or phone calls to find out what happened to my package. I even walked in for an update and was told I would get a call back and nothing. I have called the Investigations dept and keep being told I will get a call back and nothing. I'm now moving on to call UPS Corporate. Make sure you get a receipt and I recommend not dropping off packages there that are worth a lot of money. Or make sure that is in insured. Mine was and STILL not getting a refund or most importantly, there is no effort in finding out which employee stole my package! read more

I need a notary and I had to get a document notarized. I needed 2 witnesses. I only had one witness with me. They wanted to charge me $5 to have their worker there sign the document. I understand they have to make money but at $5 for a 5 second signature? And with a pretty bad attitude. I mean come on guys you can be a little bit more friendly and by the way to UPS on Ocean doesn't charge $5 for a witness signature. Is this part of UPS protocol or is this just you guys trying to make an extra buck off of somebody that needs a quick notarisation. Maybe I have low expectations of delivery services but I'm giving this place 5 stars for their efficient and polite service. I've had to return quite a few things this past year due to some over zealous online shopping via Amazon Prime, and I just started to use the option where you can return items UNPACKED and without a return label. The guys who work at this UPS store have been super quick about processing the returns. Scam to avoid if you want to print documents. I had around 50 pages to print, you have to use their computer and put your credit card first. When I printed the documents (regular PDF) the system zoomed in and split in 3 all my pages. That cost me $100 for the 3*50 useless pages and the seller cannot do anything because the "manager is not here" Please avoid. read more

I love this place, aside from the parking which they have no control over, everyone who works here is super friendly! It takes me a solid 30 to find parking but only 3 minutes in the store and then I stick around and smash the bubble wrap until they kick me out. Just kidding. You just gotta pay extra read more
