I come here to drop off my USPS, UPS, and FedEx packages. It is so convenient and what's even better is that there are also so many cards available for purchase for all occasions. One less trip to another store for a greeting card. I had a few gifts that needed to be packaged up together and I didn't have the box nor packaging materials for it. The staff made it SO EASY for me to hand over my items and know that they will find the perfect box and add the right paper and padding to it. They also provide you with the cheapest rate between the shipping providers without you having to ask. Post & Parcel is a staple in my routine and always makes a great visit! read more

Couldn't believe how nice my experience was at Post & Parcel in Potrero Hill. I walked in with a last minute print job and they helped me get it done with minimal effort. After it printed, the sizing in my document was a bit off, so they helped me adjust it on the fly to get what I needed. The printing cost was very reasonable and in line with what I expected. Will definitely recommend based on my experience, and their super friendly staff! read more

I called asking what might be the fastest service as I had to send something in an emergency effort. They were so helpful over the phone and let me know all of my options. They even told me what time to get there by to make it for certain. I couldn't ask for better service. read more

Great local spot to drop off packages, be it UPS, USPS, FedEx. Literally a one stop shop for all these shipping companies! I was in the Potero Hill area and had to drop off a FedEx return - Post & Parcel being the closest location to me (within two blocks). Fortunately, lots of free 2-hour parking nearby, so it was a quick in and out to drop my package off. Note that since Post & Parcel is an affiliate drop off center, pick ups from the various organizations are limited. I went around 4pm, so I already missed the Fedex pick up time of 1pm. In general, dropping off your packages earlier than later is better, especially if you want to make it in time for the pick up times! Given the limited shipping companies in the Potrero Hill area, Post & Parcel is an absolute necessity, especially for Potrero Hill residents who might not have a car to travel to a much farther away UPS/USPS/FedEx location. If I'm in the area again and need to send a package, I'll definitely be back! read more

We go to Post & Parcel multiple times a month, it is a convenient business as there is no USPS/UPS/FedEx office in the neighborhood. They offer PO box, package drop-off, packing, shipping, and also computer and printer access free of charge. Basically, anything you may need, they have it. The first time you ship with them, they will ask you a bunch of information. It takes a little while for them to fill them in, the good part of that is when you come back, they can pull up your information and you have nothing to do. Why 3 stars and not 5? The service is not always super friendly. It used to be worst, I feel they have improved since then, but it's not there yet. I am never too comfortable when I interact with them. The second con, is the opening time, they close quite early, especially for someone working, it's often hard to come before 3PM. read more

Incredibly convenient, and the staff was very helpful and friendly! I can't believe it took me this long to use the store-- but now I'm never going to use anything else! read more

Perfect one-stop neighborhood shop for all of your shipping-related needs. They also have notary services! The staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful. read more

Super friendly and helpful staff, convenient. I will be using this place whenever I have to mail something big or small.

They are so friendly and helpful. I don't know why returning a package seems so hard, but they make it easy. They offer printing--you can email them what you need or log on to your email, various shipping services, stationery/cards, etc. So glad to live nearby. read more

Best place to mail anything with any service. I love them! They are also the best place to buy cards!!

This place is exactly how you would imagine the ideal small business. Whether I need to print something or send a package, they are always there to help. They will print stuff even if it's just a couple pages. COVID-19 notes - Only a few customers allowed at a time - There is a bin near the door for pre labeled packages, which you can drop off without entering the store read more

During the pandemic, I was grateful that Post &Parcel offers notary services. The sales person was helpful and professional. In addition, The store has interesting greeting cards and appears to have a good selection of packing supplies. I'm glad to have come to this establishment and will keep it on my list next time I have to ship a package or get another document notarized. read more

Family owned - been in our neighborhood for.ev.er. I come by for the clever birthday cards, unusual wrapping papers, and of course, to mail holiday presents. I have kept a mailbox here for years in order to recieve packages when i'm at work for example. The loveliest people work here and own this shop. Shop local! come to Post and Parcel!!! read more

This place is very convenient to take care of your postal needs. You can even pick up cards and some gifts. They also have a printer available in case you need to print out a label. The only reason I do not give this place 5 stars is because the person running it has a terrible attitude. I have been here numerous times since the pandemic started and whenever I ask a question, the guy has the most condescending, belittling way of responding. I get it if you are having on off day or two, but 12 visits later and the attitude is the same. If you have a question be prepared to be spoken to like a child and know it's not you. I come here for the convenience, not the sunny disposition. read more

LOVE/ HATE... I love the location, the merchandise, a lot of different greeting cards, wrapping paper, ribbons etc So, every time that I need to go to a post office I choose them because it is in the neighborhood and I want to support small business. However, I always end up regretting it, because I never feel welcome, NEVER! :( read more

Great place to get all my shipping needs handled with great service and chill atmosphere.

Reliable and friendly, super helpful staff. Feels like a family run place, they don't nickle and dime for business.

Printing, notary and fedex all at one place. Service was friendly, helpful and patient. I definitely recommend this business.

I made the dumb mistake of coming here to send back an Allbirds package that required the mere task of printing a label and send it off. I understand that they were wildly busy and I was happily waiting. I was also really excited to see they had notary services as I have had to use notary services a lot while sending my visa documents. However, never have I made to feel such condescendingly mocked while trying to send a package. He treated me like I was a dumb person for not being able to send him an email. I left the store feeling extremely unwelcome and disappointed. I will be driving much further for my future needs of packaging and parcelling. read more

Going to the post office is one of those things in life that gives me so much anxiety so when I was walking into Post & Parcel I really didn't think this was going to be much different. But, I'm so glad I was wrong! Customer service is so great here and things were taken care of quickly and smoothly. There was quite a line in the middle of the day on a weekday, but nothing too bad. Definitely come here for all your post and parcel needs! read more

Post & Parcel has been my go-to shipping and occasion card shop for five years. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and on top of things. P&P has got my numerous packages to their destinations on time and in great condition. A note on the card selection. It alone is reason to visit P&P. There are your standbys: cards with art work, Norcal blockprints, Papyrus, Snow & Graham. And, there are absurd and snarkily funny cards. (My personal favorites), as well as ones with beautiful photos of SF. I highly recommend using P&P for your shipping and birthday/holiday card shopping needs. read more

Our neighborhood Potrero shipping store. Friendly staff and community staple. Thanks for being here!

This shop is amazing. If you have anything at all complicated to send, they are SO helpful! They problem solve to make it as affordable as possible, and they're always super friendly. I no longer live in the neighborhood but I go out of my way to send packages with them. read more

Thank you very much for outstanding customer services. Highly recommended place for you postal needs services. Fast and easy. Thank you!!!!! read more

Staff change a few months back with seemingly a new manager now. The new manager seems more interested in arguing with customers than helping them. I made the mistake of forgetting my mail box key, a rare event, and he spent more time belittling me than he did getting my mail. A well rounded manager might politely ask you not to forget your key next time. This guy sarcastically asked me if I needed him to organize a new key to be cut because he could not believe how anyone could simply just forget theirs. I have been a customers of this place for several years and up until now they have been great. Shame for one manger to ruin the experience. read more

Had to mail out a passport renewal and the young lady that helped me was super pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. Will definitely be using Post & Parcel again next time I have something important to mail. read more

This place is great. Not only can they figure out how to send anything anywhere, they have cards, wrapping paper, PO Boxes, and notary!

I walked in with my Zappos return box. The woman I believe was the owner was working on the display at the entrance. She looks me up and down and says, "Is that ALL? Go to the back." No actually, I wanted to come in, drop this off, have a look around and get some cards for some birthdays I have coming up. But since that was the RUDEST greeting I've ever had in a shop, I'll make sure not to give you any business. I get they don't make any money off the prepaid shipping items people bring in, but she seemed to go out of her way to ensure I don't spend any money there. I thought the point of small business was better customer service. I guess I should be grateful that they didn't just toss my package in a dumpster. I've had better greetings at a Walmart. read more

Such a cute little store that doubles a post office, card shop and trinket shop. Some friends and I spent a while browsing through the hilarious cards that they have, trying to find something for someone's birthday. There were so many choices that it was hard to choose just one! The store is a little small but they make up for it in cuteness and diversity. You can get stationary ranging from the cute and cheesy to the humorous and un-pc. Staff were very friendly and happy to help. They also didn't see anything wrong with me trying to read every single card in the shop! read more

Knowing so many businesses on the hill this place is odd. Been in twice in the last two weeks, never gain. To say the staff are unfriendly is an understatement. First time I purchased a $5 card and waited patiently at the counter for 5 mins while two young women did absolutely nothing, let alone acknowledge that there was a single customer in front of them. Second time, leg in a cast, I forgot the paperwork that I came to get notarized. Asked politely if I could access my e-mail and print as my movement is restricted. You'd have thought I'd asked for the world, again nobody in the store. Amazing how a little smile or being just a touch polite to customers helps. Seems many have had the same experience. I drive up and down 18th Street often, waving at a dozen or so merchants who are amazing, not these guys, a pity. read more

This place is the best!!!! Lynn and her staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Their service is extremely prompt; even when there are a few people ahead of me, I always get in and out of there quickly. Their prices are also very competitive. One of the best things about this place is they will accept prepaid UPS and USPS packages without giving you a hard time. Most mailing places won't accept prepaid packages, which is super annoying and inconvenient. To make it more convenient, you can open an account there and they keep your credit card info and address on file. You can just drop off your packages and leave and they email you an itemized invoice later that day. They also offer pickup service in the neighborhood, which I think costs $10. I love having a store like this in the neighborhood! read more

Do not buy stamps here they are an extra .15 PER stamp!!! that makes it .60 per stamp what a rip off!!! they are very nice but I swear every time i mail something i get an extra potrero hill charge so I would avoid this place- unless you want really cute cards for all occasions. read more

I come here just about every week with a package to return (Bluefly and Zappos I'm talking to you). The prices are consistent with going to UPS or the Post Office, but it is majorly convenient (18th St) no lines, and the store is stocked with very cool ironic, intelligent and hilarious cards. Thankfully, not a Hallmark in sight! Some of the reviewers have written that the girl at the checkout is not friendly. I thought too at first, but once I spoke to her, I realized that she is super shy. Cut her some slack. read more

3 stars for great service and convenience. Like others said, the staff here is helpful and friendly. I love that they are located in Potrero, which is near my Dogpatch residence and has easy parking. However, it seems really pricy. I paid $4 for a box, which seems a bit steep to me. And whenever I ship a package, even if I ask for the cheapest option, it's always at least $40 to ship. I guess they just don't ship USPS ground? I had a package priced here recently, which was estimated at over $40 to ship. When I actually shipped it via Priority Mail at USPS, it came to a little over $20. Previously, I paid $40 for a package shipped via UPS, which I know normally ships for less than $30 when I go to the UPS retail store (let alone the further discount I'd get on a commercial account price). Maybe I'm missing something that's not apples-to-apples, but it just seems like the margin they're taking for service and convenience is higher than I'm willing to pay. read more

This is my go-to neighborhood shipping center. It's just up the block from me and it makes the experience of going to the post office way more nice than stopping by a Fedex store or official USPS. While the prices seem sometimes a bit high, the service makes up for it. Staff are happy to help and are efficient. They also have a cheap printer if you're in a crunch plus dogs are allowed so I don't have to tie up my dog. They also have a decent card selection if you ever need something fast (whoops I forgot my brother's bday again)... read more

Friendly and wonderful customer service! Dropped off a few packages and had several documents notarized. The woman at the counter was so sweet and lovely and most important was patient. Took her time to do my notarization with a full shop! Thank you! read more

Very convenient since there isn't a post office in the neighborhood. Super pricey though. I got charged $11.75 for priority mail that would have been $5.75 at the post office. It feels good to support a local business plus I had no wait...but not at more than double the price.. Everyone was nice but I missed the mail man pick up by 2 min because the guy had me fill out the wrong envelope. So my mail is going with tomorrow's pick up instead. Darn! Overall, my experience was decent. I'd come again if I was in a pinch. read more
