Amanda, the manager, is the absolute worst. She is extremely rude, has horrible customer service, and does not train her employees. She came at me with attitude instead of acting like a civil person and explaining the situation with any sort of grace. Worst of all, she revealed the contents of a package I was supposed to pick up to any employee or customer that was in the vicinity. I was told I was able to pick up the package even if my name did not match the shipping label. An employee literally wrote my name on the box saying I would be picking up the package with permission from the owner (who is my fiance). Our addresses did not match because we literally just moved and my fiance explained that over the phone when she initially called in. After the fact, Amanda refused to talk to her on the phone about the situation, and instead she directed my fiance to a 1 (800) number. Family own and run and they are always friendly and fast. Love I can drop off my Amazon returns without boxing up. Very convenient. Great social distancing cues and the employees wear masks. Prices are high, but that's corporately driven. read more

I'd give them a straight up 5 if it wasn't for the prices but other than that - I love this place! Always nice and friendly but more importantly, always get done what I need done. I've had copies made in here and have had them ship more things than I care to admit. If you don't box it up yourself they will do it for you right on the spot (and quick too) which adds to that price point but it is what it is. And the best thing about them is that you don't have to remember an address. If you've sent something to an address before then it is in the system and BAM they pull it right up for you. This has saved me many many times. Plus, the tracking is great and they have never once lost or damaged a thing I've sent. You can also buy postage stamps here as well as drop off things you would've mailed at the post office here as well. My go to place for shipping. read more

I patronize this store because it is close to home. Today i took in two Christmas decorations already wrapped in bubble wrap, my wrapping, so plenty of it. Total weight maybe 1 pound. Asked that it be packaged with additional packing because of the fragility. When it was brought to the counter and i slid my credit card in the reader, the total came up $83. Surely an error. Not at all said the counter person. That's outrageous, said I , the loyal customer no more. Refused to pay that much! That will be $21 for the box and filling, since now its a used box. If I had been quicker on my 75 year old feet, i would have fought the charge. I'm not from the South, but, I am a lady. Left with my $20 box, never to enter their store again.I must add the package was going ground, arriving in 4 days, to Austin Texas. So much for supporting local businesses. read more

I desperately needed to ship a computer monitor to my fiance in La Canada, California. I went to the Powell, Ohio UPS Store Thursday morning (7/24/2020) and paid $439 to have it guaranteed overnight by Saturday Noon (7/25/2020). The package arrived mid-day Monday (7/27/2020), 2 days late. I called UPS Store and they refused to help me. I called corporate only to learn that UPS stopped guaranteeing overnight delivery March 13 because of COVID-19 therefore they could do nothing for me. UPS stinks! They charged me for guaranteed overnight delivery knowing they no longer guarantee it and then missed delivery by 2 days! UPS fraudulently charged me for guaranteed overnight delivery knowing they no longer guarantee overnight delivery! Go FedEX!!! read more

DON'T SHIP FROM THIS STORE. I paid $39 to ship documents overnight to NYC. The docs didn't arrive. Tracking only shows that the package was charged, there's no additional information. The UPS Store is NOT THE SAME as UPS, and has its own lousy tracking system, Customer service at UPS Store HQ has very limited hours. After spending hours trying to reach them I was told there is now "an investigation" into my missing package that will take 8-10 business days....The documents were time sensitive........Horrible experience. This is a very nice store run by a mother and her adult kids. The kids are great -- friendly and helpful, but the mother is hard to get along with. She is not very friendly and somewhat impatient. Of course, as at any UPS Store, everything is expensive. I do business there because it is convenient, but I always hope the mother is not in when I go there. read more

We ordered a dog bed off of Amazon made of memory foam. We were sent The giant size instead of extra-large it was way too big and wasn't what we ordered. We had to find a way to get it packaged and sent back to Amazon. We wrapped it in plastic which was difficult because memory foam does not want to bend. We then went to this UPS store where they found a big box to place it in. Made our life easy because we were stressed about how we were going to get shipped back. Will definitely use this store again and appreciate how helpful they were! read more

I visited this store the other day and I have to say my experience was less than great. I would like to think I am a fair customer and can go with the flow, but this experience really bothered me. As I waited on by a taller bald man. I have to say he seem less than please to see me. I felt like I was inconveniencing his day. He was on his phone as I approached the counter and barely made eye contact or said hi. I gave him my gift to box up for me to send out. I asked him what size, how much it would be, etc. He walked to the back and didn't answer any of my questions really. He said they would make sure to get an appropriate size and make it safe for it to arrive. As he was typing up the address, he was distracted by other things and not paying attention to me. I had to keep repeating myself as to what the address was. I was over the experience at this point. I was never offered shipping options and cost, so 2 day shipping it was. He then rung me up and i paid. I had to ask for my receipt and even then i was giving the wrong one. It appeared others before me might not have received theirs. So I had to walk back to the counter and ask for the correct one. I tried to say goodbye and thanks, but it was met with nothing. Also, just one other thing. I highly recommend that you bring your own box if you can. The box prices are very high in my opinion. I feel like i can get the same quality of boxes at other stores. My box cost the same as my shipping, which I don't think should happen. read more

February of 2013 I brought in all of my dishes, glasses, barware, items from my china closet, and items from a curio cabinet to have packed so I could move all my stuff to SWFL. Andy told me to just bring it in as it was ready to pack. Every time I brought in more he would have the last items ready for me to pick up. I am making this review because things changed when I got to Naples and my stuff stayed in storage for over 3 and a half years! This past week as I moved into my condo, I was unwrapping everything he packed three years and 3 moves later. Every plate, cup, glassware item and even my fragile sherry glasses were as good as the day I took them to him. Last night I even sent him a picture of a glass martini stir he packed that was still intact. Thank you Andy, thank you Maurer family I miss having your store as my go-to shipping facility...if you ever decide to come and live in the warm Florida sun, please open a place here. read more

My item showed up damaged at its destination. This store did the packing and shipping.The store that received the item said it had been packed insufficiently for the item. I advise anyone to declare the value of your item and take out insurance with UPS for it. Also take pictures proving your item is in good condition. I did not know I should have declared my value and taken insurance and it was not offered or explained at the point of sale. I wrongly assumed that the people working here understood how to properly package and ship. read more

I ship a lot of things through our corporate account at work and so I drop off a lot of boxes. But then I also sell things on eBay myself so I do a bit of shipping myself. Used to come in here all the time then one time I forgot to put a label on a box and asked for a clear sleeve to put it in so I could ship it, they refused saying that I needed to order them online. I have a ton of them at the house but none in the car. Instead they wanted me to pay $1 per piece of packing tape for about 3 pieces to tape the label on. What a crock of crap for someone who spends thousands shipping with UPS each year. Now I keep the sleeves in my car just in case thanks to jerks like this. Most times I'd much rather do business with a UPS store than go to the awful Post Office but in this instance I would rather go USPS. I still drop things off from time to time but mostly use the UPS down the street closer to 270 on Sawmill. If I do need to ship something and pay for it in store I don't do it here as I'd rather them not get the money, I just drop off instead. read more

I have used this store maybe 4-5 times. Every single time they have given me fantastic service. This last time, Andrew, went out of his way to make my shipping as affordable as possible. I had sold a baby bike seat on eBay and he practically made a new box for me. I sold it to a buyer in CA and he was able to save me almost $40 to ship this seat. Had he not done that, I would have basically spent what I made to ship the item. I obviously don't send a lot of packages to know what I was doing. LOL. There was a man waiting in line and he commented that, "Andrew always works his magic." They really are a great family owned business. read more

I've been paying for a box for a year. I got the box for deliveries because I work all the time and am not home to receive packages. They refused a delivery of two bar stools because "they were too large". I was told by the man at this location "we're a package store, not a dumping ground for your crap".
