They are a scam. I will never recommend them or go back. Update: I went to an authorized repair place who opened up the phone and confirmed that the work was done incorrectly. They reused the old adhesive, which allowed moisture to get in, and did not replace a clamp (meaning the clamp was totally missing). New place said it was so egregious they suggested doing a chargeback and said they would provide documentation for it. We will pursue this avenue. Do not use ifixit.

I talked to a woman named Jennifer. I've talked with her no less than five times. She has assured me that she is working on my case she claims she can get no one to respond to her and she's unsure what to do next Jennifer's last statement was today June 19 telling me she would call me back before the end of her workday, which was 6 PM Pacific time. Guess what? I received no call back. My phone is still broken. The screen is not cracked. It's not been resealed correctly. Assure on will not make good on their warranty and Jennifer has not been able to resolve my problem. I was really hoping that I was going to be leaving a review that would tell you they stood behind the work that they did and they were a quality company. Unfortunately two weeks later and there has been no improvement at this point I will be going to Apple getting my phone fixed the right way and I will reach out to others and let them know that this company is not to be trusted. So I've been putting it off. Yesterday, while running errands I stopped by Kung Fu Teas to pickup a bubble tea refresher. I accidentally parked in a spot labeled "Techcraze customers Only." Whoops. But then I thought this might be a good opportunity to get this fixed + Christmas present to myself. I walked in and met Moussa who runs the business with his brother. He told me he could install a new screen for me for $200 and it would take a half hour. So I left my phone and went to Kroger for some groceries. When I returned, my phone was like new and he'd also installed a new screen protector for me gratis. (I was thankful for this because I am not skilled in this way and they always come out wonky!) The store has PC, Apple and mobile merchandise that can be purchased as well as data & mobile plans. If needed in the future (and knowing Apple products never go on sale!) He then installed my hard drive into the replacement machine. When he was finished it was BETTER than then before! The screen was "mirror clear," no scratches, the speakers worked again and the mouse pad was smooth! FYI: shortly after 2015 many laptop developers did away with hard drives in order to migrate users to "the Cloud," thus creating customers billed monthly for back-up data storage. Dave then undercharged me for his time and effort scouring the country for the perfect replacement device. Sorry, folks, I encouraged him to charge a little more for his time. I'm glad I found Dave in Delaware, and didn't go into Powell or Columbus. The service here is excellent!
