I ordered a Duracell 24F battery online. Got an email with 30 minutes saying the battery was available for pick up at Store #159 Lewis Center, Oh. At the store they tell me that the battery is out of stock and try to sell me another battery, which I declined. They tell me that this battery is available in #161 Columbus store and they call up #161 store and place an order for me. I drive 10 miles to store #161, to hear the same story. This place repaired our iPhone screen in December. Out of the blue, it cracked 4 months later. When it was taken to another shop to fix the screen, the tech said the previous repair person glued a screen into place, rather than use screws, and the glass wasn't meant for the iPhone 6. The tech was shocked anybody would do something so ridiculous. Apparently, that's what you get for around $100 at Batteries Plus Bulbs. My experience at Batteries Plus Bulbs was like being a member of the community in a small town with a nearby hardware store. I worked with Colt, he was knowledgeable and kind. He treated me like a customer should be treated at all times. What was important to me, was of equal importance and concern for him. As a result, I have found the service to be spot on and comments helpful. If I were an undercover boss I would promote Colt and the fella that was working with him. As plain and simple as this may sound, they both gave me the impression this business cares about building a working relationship to be a community resource. They didn't come off as trying to sale a battery or bulb. In my case I needed a battery installed on my four or five-year-old Bluetooth speaker. It required a specialized tool to change the battery out. Colt expertly changed the battery out and asked permission to recycle the old one. What he did was important and fantastic. He didn't know this but for a living, I work in hospice. That speaker has been by many a bedside in the wee hours of the morning. I really needed this speaker to have a reliable battery because of the demands of my profession. Colt provided a service for many others before the year is out and for many more in years to come to be comforted by the sound quality of an old familiar song, reliably played on a battery-powered Bluetooth speaker. Stopped in and had a battery replaced in my Fossil watch. 5 months later the watch was starting and stopping periodically. Took it in for additional battery replacement. HELEN (Manager) determined the battery was fine and offered to send it out for evaluation. She called a few days later and told me it was in need of a good cleaning/tuning, which they did and then said the watch was fine and it was working great and to come and pick it up. I stopped in and spoke with Josh to pick it up! It was NO CHARGE!! Yes, I said NO CHARGE! In this day and age, NOBODY offers customer service and Batteries Plus DID! I wish I had taken the time to wait at the apple store. Not worth the $10-$20 you will save. Got phone screen fixed on Sunday... It broke again on Wednesday. It was not dropped or bumped. The original screen was ran over by a school bus and still worked for 6 months after. You cant tell me they are using quality parts here. It lasted less than 3 days and was not dropped in anyway?!? Yet it is shattered with broken lcd. Their warranty does not cover this. They want full price for another screen repair. No Thanks!!! read more

Had what I suspected was battery problem with wifes Iphone. Called Apple Store in Polaris and put on hold for 15 minutes before I hung up. Called the Apple Store in Easton and after 48 minutes I hung up. Called Best Buy and not surprising, "All our representatives are busy serving other customers,' Yeah right. Waited another 15 minutes and when I asked about new batteries, they said if I wanted one I had to buy it online. I asked who would be able to put it in since it involves soldering. Response. I don't know. Called Battery Plus. Right from the go it was a "can do" attitude. Bottom line, $59 for the battery and they gave me a Veterans discount and it was done in 1/2 hour. I mentioned how I needed a cord to plug the phone into the USB port in the car to charge it up and he cautioned me about doing that saying it charges far too fast and can affect the battery life. He said to do all the charging at home and save the car charger as a backup in emergency. All in all, a very good shopping experience, great service, help information and at a very good price. Please do not take your phone here! All I needed was a simple battery replacement, and so I took my phone in. First of all, everything took them far longer than what I was told. Second, when I got my phone back, the battery was replaced but they had broken the home button so that it shorted itself out and they had bent the back of the phone so that it now bows out. I took the phone back in a few days later and they were able to fix the home button, though when they put everything back together, they left the edge of a wire sticking out of the side of the home button. They did not do anything about the damage they caused to the back case portion of my phone. I will not take another phone here again and I'm very upset that they damaged mine. read more

Outstanding customer service. I took a watch that had stopped working in for a battery replacement. They pulled the battery out and tested it. They said the battery was fine and not the issue. They put the battery back in and used some magnet type doodad to make the watch hands move. The watch started working immediately. They did not charge me for the service. I will definitely go back to see Hebron and Matt the next time I need a battery or bulb. read more
