I had a 10 year old Apple laptop that suddenly wouldn't start. I took it to Dave (the owner) of TECH MEDIC REPAIR and he was able to locate and order my exact "antique" laptop from California! He then installed my hard drive into the replacement machine. When he was finished it was BETTER than then before! The screen was "mirror clear," no scratches, the speakers worked again and the mouse pad was smooth! FYI: shortly after 2015 many laptop developers did away with hard drives in order to migrate users to "the Cloud," thus creating customers billed monthly for back-up data storage. Dave then undercharged me for his time and effort scouring the country for the perfect replacement device. Sorry, folks, I encouraged him to charge a little more for his time. I'm glad I found Dave in Delaware, and didn't go into Powell or Columbus. The service here is excellent! read more

This guy is awesome! He has fixed so many of my families products that we would have had to have replaced otherwise with the prices of other places. (Sometimes it is cheaper to just buy new). After hearing great things about this place, we finally got the chance to see for ourselves when our iMac refused to boot up. Dave was absolutely fantastic and far exceeded our expectations. He was able to save our data (including hundreds of invaluable family photos), and while he was unable to salvage the computer itself, his communication with us was reliable and honest. His fees were beyond reasonable, and he provided us with great advice about purchasing a new computer. As far as I can tell, this little business is a one man show. The owner is friendly, down to earth, and quite capable. My first trip to Tech Medic was for a computer monitor that was no longer working. The owner took a look at it, then advised me, against his own interest, to buy another monitor rather than pay him to repair it. He charged me nothing for the diagnostics he performed. The next time I went in to have my battery replaced in my Moto Max, which from everything I've read is a difficult job. The ownder took care of it, no problem, and charged me only $30--half of what I was quoted at two other places. He also said that if the new battery didn't work properly (a common problem with some of these after market batteries) that he'd replace it without charging for labor. Highly recommended. read more
