I was having trouble with my computer. I took it to Micro Center, they charged $50 to do…read morediagnostic testing then told me that the computer's screen and LCD cable were defective and quoted me the cost of the repair. I then took the computer to The Computer Store. They told me that it would be very unusual for the computer screen to be defective. The did diagnostic testing at no charge and determined that it was just the LCD cable. They repaired my computer in a very reasonable time and chaged $100 less than MicroCenter ($150 less if the diagnostic charge is included). I will definately be taking my computer to The Computer Store for any repairs and would highly recommend them.

Fantastic service and very efficient, Friendly Computers always gets me back in working order in no…read moretime. What I love is that they will come and fix your computer in your own home and unless major "surgery" is needed, the problem can normally be fixed in an hour or so. Great for busy students and business professionals, who do not have the time to go wait in line and deal with the impersonal computer repair centers. Both times that I have used Friendly Computers, Marty, was my personal repair guru. He saved my life, at least academically, by getting my computer functioning again after an episode with the "blue screen of death" which nearly deleted my entire hard drive and the whole quarter-worth of work, lucky for me Marty saved the day as well as most of my hard drive!
