But then I thought this might be a good opportunity to get this fixed + Christmas present to myself. I walked in and met Moussa who runs the business with his brother. He told me he could install a new screen for me for $200 and it would take a half hour. So I left my phone and went to Kroger for some groceries. When I returned, my phone was like new and he'd also installed a new screen protector for me gratis. (I was thankful for this because I am not skilled in this way and they always come out wonky!) The store has PC, Apple and mobile merchandise that can be purchased as well as data & mobile plans. If needed in the future (and knowing Apple products never go on sale!) I'll be happy to throw this family owned spot some more business.

The technicians do need to be managed a bit. They are all young guys and I think they aren't as focused on deadlines as one would like. Drop off the computer and then call them in two days to get a progress report. Then they will start working on it and call you the next day with an update. I am willing to put up with this because they do a good job and are extremely cheap. We did have an issue that wasn't fixed the first time and they fixed it for free the second time. They don't charge to diagnose the problem, which in many cases, is most of the work.

I had lots of mesh routers (eeros) but somehow I couldn't get reliable service throughout our house (2 floors + basement). That's where G-flo came in to save the day. Our technician Brian arrived early and investigated the situation. We had coax throughout the house and he was able to get internet flowing from the basement to the 2nd floor. I thought the problem was solved but we had some issues with the first floor so he CAME BACK and solved the issue with the first floor too, no questions asked. This was more than a value. This made the difference between working from home making sense and being unworkable.

With Brian, he was able to utilize old phone cables in my house to create a stronger connection. After adding mesh systems to these phone cables, I have steady WiFi throughout the house. My SONOs speakers do not disconnect, my TV plays consistent 1080p/4K channels, and I haven't experienced any lag when gaming. Brian did a great job understanding my needs and completing the job in a timely fashion. He diagnosed the issues, purchased equipment, and completed installs all in the same day. Highly recommend, especially if your internet service provider is leading you to dead ends.
