Working with non-tech savvy employees, I still receive great feedback from them how they worked through all the issues they were struggling with. When technology decided to take a turn on me, they were able to ensure I didn't lose any backup information or documents. They even handle when I was super stressed about getting my computer fixed and gave me a loaner to work while it was repaired. Everyone is wonderful to work with! Additionally, they make sure our company is protected with top notch cybersecurity. I feel confident that our companies information is extremely protected with their proactive service for all company devices and servers. They have been a trusted partner with our company for years now and I wouldn't ever want to change!

What I love is that they will come and fix your computer in your own home and unless major "surgery" is needed, the problem can normally be fixed in an hour or so. Great for busy students and business professionals, who do not have the time to go wait in line and deal with the impersonal computer repair centers. Both times that I have used Friendly Computers, Marty, was my personal repair guru. He saved my life, at least academically, by getting my computer functioning again after an episode with the "blue screen of death" which nearly deleted my entire hard drive and the whole quarter-worth of work, lucky for me Marty saved the day as well as most of my hard drive! I cannot recommend them enough and hope that if you find your self in need of a computer guru that you will call Friendly Computers too, after all they are a life saver!

They repaired my computer in a very reasonable time and chaged $100 less than MicroCenter ($150 less if the diagnostic charge is included). I will definately be taking my computer to The Computer Store for any repairs and would highly recommend them.

On startup (suddenly) I started seeing a Dell Alarm screen reporting bad disk sector(s). I have MS Windows 10 - Office 2016. One very knowledgeable tech came and looked at it and his opinion was it was a "false positive" and to simply continue backing up which I did for a while... backing up around 400,000 data files plus two (current and archive) Ouitlook .pst files. I also purchased a replacement 1 TB hard drive ( Samsung 1 TB 870 "EVO SSD hard drive and SSD/HDD mounting frame at Microcenter.... just in case. Being nervous Nellie myself I finally researched to find another reliable computer expert tech to replace. Luckily I cam across Justin Brown at Fit-It Computer Repair - Columbus OH. Justin came and picked up the computer and returned it the next day. He basically mirrored the entire drive to assure that it would be exactly the same as the old system ... this basic copies .. sector-by-sector and installs on the new disk the great advantage being ... none of the software has to be reinstalled and none of the settings ... a mirror of the original. I could not be happier and to add to it Justin is very competent and a great person to work with. I would give "10 stars" if I could.

If i had some questions, they would be answered over the phone or done remotely for me. That's what i always evaluated things on, customer service. Not what I received last time (August 2020). It appears that the business isn't run by the same two guys anymore, and it shows. Not to go on, but let's just bring it to the date of this writing. i called yesterday pm, wanting to know how to get a program to work that had always worked before. i called at 4:57 p.m. because I thought i might get them before they closed. The guy who had repaired my computer, Josh, answered. Not only did he sound angry at me for calling (though he had said to call him if there were issues), but said to call back today, and he'd fix it this morning remotely. i called today and spoke with Evan. (though Josh was also there) and after being told i would have to pay their normal rate for a service call, I was also told that Josh said he had helped me out on "many things" for over an hour yesterday. Of course, he had helped on nothing other than getting me off the phone once it came to 5 pm, which totaled less than 5 minutes. So, if you're thinking about taking your computer there, don't plan on asking them any questions, or be ready to pay (for something you just want working the way it was before they touched it). And this was a mere one thing, not the many things I no longer have on my computer, that they could have found from the backup drive. No customer service, and they've lost this customer!!
