It appears that the business isn't run by the same two guys anymore, and it shows. Not to go on, but let's just bring it to the date of this writing. i called yesterday pm, wanting to know how to get a program to work that had always worked before. i called at 4:57 p.m. because I thought i might get them before they closed. The guy who had repaired my computer, Josh, answered. Not only did he sound angry at me for calling (though he had said to call him if there were issues), but said to call back today, and he'd fix it this morning remotely. i called today and spoke with Evan. (though Josh was also there) and after being told i would have to pay their normal rate for a service call, I was also told that Josh said he had helped me out on "many things" for over an hour yesterday. Of course, he had helped on nothing other than getting me off the phone once it came to 5 pm, which totaled less than 5 minutes. So, if you're thinking about taking your computer there, don't plan on asking them any questions, or be ready to pay (for something you just want working the way it was before they touched it). And this was a mere one thing, not the many things I no longer have on my computer, that they could have found from the backup drive. No customer service, and they've lost this customer!!

On startup (suddenly) I started seeing a Dell Alarm screen reporting bad disk sector(s). I have MS Windows 10 - Office 2016. One very knowledgeable tech came and looked at it and his opinion was it was a "false positive" and to simply continue backing up which I did for a while... backing up around 400,000 data files plus two (current and archive) Ouitlook .pst files. I also purchased a replacement 1 TB hard drive ( Samsung 1 TB 870 "EVO SSD hard drive and SSD/HDD mounting frame at Microcenter.... just in case. Being nervous Nellie myself I finally researched to find another reliable computer expert tech to replace. Luckily I cam across Justin Brown at Fit-It Computer Repair - Columbus OH. Justin came and picked up the computer and returned it the next day. He basically mirrored the entire drive to assure that it would be exactly the same as the old system ... this basic copies .. sector-by-sector and installs on the new disk the great advantage being ... none of the software has to be reinstalled and none of the settings ... a mirror of the original. I could not be happier and to add to it Justin is very competent and a great person to work with. I would give "10 stars" if I could.

What I love is that they will come and fix your computer in your own home and unless major "surgery" is needed, the problem can normally be fixed in an hour or so. Great for busy students and business professionals, who do not have the time to go wait in line and deal with the impersonal computer repair centers. My laptop wasn't powering up or charging, so I called on a Thursday night, dropped it off on Friday afternoon, and received a call back on Saturday morning at 9:30 that it was finished! They preformed some fast work! They not only fixed the power jack internally, but replaced both tips on my power cord. My final price was only $68. I will say it was a little bit of a pain to have to pay in cash (the only form of currency excepted), but I don't blame them to keep the costs down. When I got there, they dropped the offer to $225 and called it average condition because of one tiny nick that was barely noticeable unless you looked very closely. I understand condition can be subjective, but what bothered me was that after offering $225, they were suddenly willing to negotiate back up. That made the first revised offer feel like a lowball. I also included a 2nd generation Apple Magic Trackpad, and the final agreed amount ended up being $315. They paid through PayPal, but sent it in a way that deducted a $9.42 fee, so I only received $305.58. When I brought it up, they refused to reimburse the difference. Overall, the process felt misleading. I used them to avoid the hassle of selling locally, but I would not use this company again. Be careful assuming you will receive the quoted value.
