I have rented a mailbox since, 2017: I'm utterly devastated the UPS is shuttering because the Landlord is converting the UPS into another stupid RESTAURANT!!!!! AUUUUUGGHH! Anyway, Manager, Tomi refunded my remaining mailbox rental and refunded my mailbox keys as well. Don't drop off your doctor prescribed Cologuard Test at the Missouri Flat location!! The staff will make fun of you dropping off a 'poop test' and then insist on giving you a receipt because UPS ' doesn't want to drive around with your poop'!! UPS on Missouri Flat has no right to comment on any packaged they accept for shipment. This test is a preventative measure that no one want to drive around with or be humiliated by the clerk at the UPS counter and her co-worker, Have left 2 messages for the store owner to call me, but no return call ~ If UPS doesn't want Cologuard's business contract then cancel it ~ read more

I've dealt with many UPS stores but none like the one on Broadway in Placerville. They are extremely professional, efficient, friendly and easy to contact on the phone. They will not leave you hanging if you can't figure out UPS worldwide system, instead they will follow through to answer questions thoroughly and actually return phone calls. The woman with the long dark hair needs to be fired. She sucks the life out of every customer that comes in. And scrolling through there are multiple reviews her. When you wait in line or come to the counter she acts like your the biggest inconvenience and then huffs & puffs. Sorry but get another job if you're gonna hate this one so much. Very convenient place. Robert in the store is so kind and helpful. I just saw him help someone who had a FedEx slip which they don't do there. But he gave her advice on how to prepare the item and told her where to go to drop off. It was nice to see someone being so helpful to someone who isn't necessarily they're customer. Just left the UPS Store there on Missouri Flat Road and was helped by Mike. just want to say that he was awesome, very professional, very friendly.. he made making an Amazon returns very seamless and easy and i really appreciate him and actually all the stuff there at that location are all great and I do a lot of shopping on Amazon but I keep more things that I return actually believe it or not! read more

One of the worst UPS stores I've been to. I was charged today by Amazon for an item I returned on January 10th from this store. This is the third time this has happened...Not sure whats going on there but not to be trusted when using for Amazon returns. read more

This is my local UPS Store. I went in a few months ago to return a package. It was too big to fit in the return kiosk, so I went to the desk. The man at the desk told me it was packaged wrong. I told him I was following the directions from the company's website. He told me I was still wrong. To add insult to injury, while he was telling me I was wrong, another employee behind the counter felt the need to come over to also tell me that I was wrong. They said that they would return the package, but to do it right next time. I was very upset by this experience which made me never want to return. Today, I had a different package to return which was an item in a box. The package was small enough that it would fit in the kiosk, so I felt confrontable returning as I wouldn't have to interact with the employees. I received a return barcode from the UPS website. Unfortunately, the UPS store only had the smallest size of the plastic bags available, which was just barely too small for my item. I worked up the nerve to go to the desk for assistance. The lady behind the desk was rude from the start. I told her I was returning this item with a barcode from my phone. She told me that wouldn't work. I said that was surprising because the barcode was from the UPS website with instructions to scan it at the UPS Store. She tried it and, lo and behold, it worked. Then she asked what I was planning on returning it in, I said I was hoping to return it in one of the plastic bags but there wasn't one big enough. Again, and I am still unclear as to why, she said that wouldn't work. At this point I was ready to just leave and go to a different UPS store, but she ended up putting the label directly on the box. She at least ended with a "have a nice day." But, again, I was very upset by this experience. My experiences make me feel that, at least with the 3 employees that I dealt with, the employees like to make people feel stupid. Instead of helping to guide us, they just act like we don't know what we are doing. I have social anxiety and was very shaken by these experiences. After this second unpleasant experience, I will never return. read more

The gentlemen in here always provide exceptional service. They are quick & friendly and always greet you with a smile. 10/31/23 between 4 & 4:30 the short skinny lady, not so nice. Never once greeted the customers walking in. Not sure if you were having a bad day but you were not very friendly and really rude by disregarding me. Months have gone by and I continue to get EXCELLENT service at this location! I come here probably once every two to three weeks with an Amazon return and here is what I witnessed today. Four people in front of me, two people working, each patiently helping their customers. Mike (I now know his name because I asked him one time) patiently walking a customer through the prompts to locate her Amazon code, the other (I now know is Tommy). Tommy helps me when it's my turn and I have some paperwork to attach my receipt to and he actually goes out of his way to mark which one is Macy's and which one is Amazon. Now although this may seem a minor thing to most, THIS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE, FOLKS! This will same me time from trying to figure this out when I get home. This is why this location rocks!!! Come to this business to get Covid from staff and other customers! Disgusted with no maskers here. The staff don't care about my safety. Is the owner catering to anti-maskers? UPS company should not allow Franchisers to disregard Covid precautions that put us at risk. I now will have to drive to another location (miles away) to be safer. 1 star for terrible customer service interaction. I never leave YELP or any other reviews but feel like this needs to be addresses by a district manager, nit the store manager. Understanding that internet access is hit and miss sometimes in Placerville... the counter assistant (the big guy, not the tall, skinny guy) just wasted my time... acting like he was checking in my stuff, all the while knowing that the internet was down. Instead of telling me up front so I could exercise my option of going to the other Placerville UPS store on Broadway. When questioned about it, his reply was "I just got here to work a few minutes ago", like that makes any difference in how he's interacting with customers. I wasn't super irritated until he said that to me. He needs a serious refresher course in customer service and how to speak to customers. Then when I decided to leave with my return products... he said very loudly, over my shoulder "have an aaammmaaazziiinnnggg day"... like that was all I needed to hear to put this interaction back on track and his customer service interaction was finished. I strongly suggest a district manager stop into this location and inquire about all the counter staff's training and give them all a good hard look. Appearance, verbal communication, rules of good customer service. The works. This store needs some serious employee assistance to get them all up to UPS store standards. As far as when all equipment is working, this store gets the packages shipped and provides return receipts when requested. PS... the Broadway store's internet was down as well. They had a clear sign posted and verbally confirmed it when asked. I'll go down to the Cameron Park store later. read more

I sent a letter next day delivery by end of day at $56. I was NEVER TOLD that it might not make it there by then. I was only asked if I wanted to pay extra depending on delivery times of day. My letter is now expected 4 days after I shipped it. I called and she said everyone always says they don't guarantee deliveries right now, and basically too bad for you thanks for you $56!!! well... sorry she didn't tell me that when I shipped it. I know you all are busy, but be honest and don't sell a service that you can't provide!!!! Next day service is NEXT DAY SERVICE and I paid for that. Not for 4 or 5 day!! read more

Very rude workers. Never coming back. On average I use this place once a week but I will be finding another store. There was three workers up front. One worker grabbed the lady in front of me packages and the other worker behind her said "who's next." Nobody said anything so I figured the worker who was holding the customers box was helping her and i was next. Guess i was wrong and instead of politely telling me she wasn't going to ring her up ( im not even sure what the point of having that lady there was just to stand and grab boxes) she rudely said its the lady in front of me her turn and glared at me. The staff here are incredibly kind and helpful, getting to know repeat customers and are genuinely kind, especially the woman who does the notary. Mike is very quick and does his job well, his banter with the other employees keeps the environment light and enjoyable. They really do give this place the neighborhood feel. When we came here in 2018, the store was being run very poorly. Happy to have the current staff in place and pleasurable experience each time. read more

This place has steadily gone downhill since the previous manager, Becky, left. Used to get professional, courteous service. Current employees complain to each other about previous customers, spend way too much time chatting you up about what you're shipping, and freely share their political opinions. My husband and I have both, on separate occasions, been subjected to hearing about how wearing masks during covid is ridiculous. I believe it is common courtesy, like covering your cough or sneeze, and a customer should not have to reveal his or her medical issues in order to justify wearing a mask. Professional dress and grooming has gone out the window, too, with one clerk looking like he's in the middle of cleaning out the garage. It's the Folsom location for me from now on. read more

Ridiculous. Avoid this location! Go to EDH location instead! Much better customer service. I went in to return an amazon and Diane said I had to pay $2.50 to log onto the computer and print out the shipping label. There was a guy on the computer forever. Tells me that they can not do as EDH does, different procedures. Wth? It's the same company! In EDH u walk in hand them the box and bam they handle business and u leave a happy customer. Luckily Susie jumped in and whipped us up a label for $2.70 and we were out of there in 30 mins. I can't stand ppl that make their jobs difficult read more

Do NOT go there for Notary Services. I went in to have something notarized the agent refused and said that my signature doesn't match my Drivers license exactly and that she was not going to jail for me. I told her that the signature on my drivers license was just a scribble and that I had my SS# card and my county ID on me. She said unless I had a passport then no. She told me not to come back they would not help me. Very RUDE customer Service. I will go to Wells Fargo instead at least it's free. read more

Someone needs to be fired - Tried to have something boxed and shipped back to a manufacturer who is part of the UPS Corporate Retail Program for Breville on Saturday March 20th @ ~ 2:30 PM. Per the instructions and the "Program" Breville would cover the cost for both boxing and shipping. The individual at the UPS shop, who was filthy and smoking outside when I entered the store greeted me with, "I guess you need that packed and Amazon told you to bring it like that". I quickly replied with the actual details of the transaction, including shipping label, shipping instructions and case #. I was just as quickly dismissed that the only thing covered is the shipping and the case # was useless to him and when asked he refused event to try or look. Never want to see anyone loose their job but this dude needs serious customer support training and is giving the franchise/UPS a bad rep read more
