I have used them for several years. I am done. I went in, in the afternoon this week for a small job. I watched the middle aged woman treat an FFA girl absolutely rude. There was a sweet young redhead that was helpful and kind. But the middle aged women was awful. I figured maybe I walked in after the young lady was rude so I hung back to watch. Nope this lady was just unprofessionally rude. She was not kind to me when she helped me. I figured maybe just a bad day? The next morning that same young lady ended up behind me picking up her order. I fell out of line to watch the interaction. She was so rude to her again! The young lady was in full FFA outfit. And she was so kind to the lady! I just left after I got my order. I don't understand. We want the next generation to be exactly what this young lady was- kind, respectful, attentive, not on their phone. So we treat a paying customer that was a stellar customer like you are annoyed by their presence. The middle aged women was lukewarm to me, not kind at all! But not rude. My job was correct so the work didn't suffer. But I just can't imagine treating a paying customer that way! read more

Brought in my own paper and a print-ready file. They took my paper, said it wouldn't be an issue, then used their own stock anyway. The print came out way too dark and muddy. This wasn't a file problem on my end. My file was built to industry standards (proper CMYK, standard GRACoL press profile, light background, normal ink). The darkening came from their paper substitution and their machine's auto color conversion, not my design. When I asked them to fix it, they tried to charge me a design fee plus a reprint fee for their own mistake. Won't be back. read more

I had a document in an envelope shipped here via FedEx because it was important and I did not want it to get lost in the mail trying to have it delivered to my rural address. They CHARGED me when I picked up my envelope. The woman at the counter claimed it was a holding fee for the privilege of having them store my envelope. A flat envelope with one single piece of paper inside. Unreal. Of course this was after already paying FedEx to ship the document in the first place. And this is a certified FedEx location. What a racket. I previously used this business to print some legal documents and although they printed them fairly quickly, it was also exorbitant. There are other places in the area that can be used for such services without having to pay outrageous fees. read more

I have been in here three times over last couple months. Every time, it has been the only place in EDC that makes me feel like I'm back in the Bay Area of rushed rudeness. Most unfriendly, unhelpful folks working there. Asked about printing, not one word of explanation - just a curt "go on website" brusque and impatient response (which is the most antiquated system I have seen). I sensed the tension between the women working there, it was really uncomfortable, It seems to always be a bad day in there (and I gave it three tries). It's ok though, I have a $5M tech marketing budget that I will just keep spending at my same Bay Area print shops rather than move anything up to them. So I just smiled walking out knowing that. I won't give my company's money to anyone that can't be polite and offer stellar customer service, or frankly, just even just be nice. read more

I brought a booklet (in PDF) to them to print and make into a spiral notebook. They failed to QC it and several pages didn't print. I brought it back and they said the file I emailed had blank pages. I re-sent the file and confirmed the pages weren't blank. They said I would have to pay for the reprint & could pick it up the following day. I came back 4-days later and was told it wasn't ready yet. They said they had been busy on another project. This is really poor service. I won't return. read more

I went in twice for color reproductions of my original artwork. BOTH TIMES I wound up with unsightly smears on the color prints. I've never had that happen before, when I lived elsewhere so I only checked after I got home. When I called to suggest to the manager that she better train her workers, she suggested I check before I leave -- and with NO APOLOGY. I'm looking for a more caring place for my next job. read more

My husband and I have used their services many times and for many reasons. I highly recommend this business. The people working there are so helpful and kind. They take their time with you even when they're rushed. We're printing blueprints through them. Expedited packages to friends at Christmas and even help with mailing off passport renewal info. Amazing experience. The representative I worked with thought outside the box and was able to provide my labels at under half the cost of quotes from Office Max and Avery.com. In addition, she helped me design my business card in under 10 minutes - a process that took me hours last time. Last time I used Vista Print and got cards with ugly, blurry inking which I then had to have them re-print (not much better the second time around). Buying local keeps money and jobs in our community. When I can do that and get better product for less money with excellent service, I've scored! read more

I had a minor miscommunication with the gentleman that works at Minuteman press. I asked him for a quote on 100 sticker for both his low and high quality options. I didn't hear back for a short amount of time so I pursued another vendor for stickers. I guess I had accidentally missed his email where he did give me a quote for both high and low quality. Since I missed the email by mistake I was never able to confirm with him if I would like the high or low quality stickers printed. I emailed him a week later again not aware of the email that he had sent me and I told him at that time we had gone a different direction with the stickers but that we would like to circle back to him and get a quote for two other items. I still wanted to support his business all though he had printed the stickers without me ever confirming which quality I would like and that the price was appropriate for me. I went into Minuteman press today to clear up this whole misunderstanding and to hopefully then purchase the stickers that he had printed for me since I felt like it was a miscommunication on both of our ends. The gentleman got verbally aggressive very quickly he told me it felt like it was a slap in the face that I had gone to another vendor (even though we had never confirmed pricing or to have my stickers printed). I apologized and told him I was there to clear things up and explained where I thought the miscommunication had taken place. He continue to escalate the situation and told me at that point he wouldn't sell me my stickers rather I wanted them or not. I told him I was sorry more than once and attempt to diffuse the situation between the two of us. He just continued on ranting with an attitude in front of his customers and his employees. It was a little bit embarrassing for me so I'd have to imagine it was very embarrassing for him, that is if he's any bit of a thinker. I really just wanted to clear up the misunderstanding because I didn't find it to be any one person's fault. If we were able to get things cleared up I would have wanted to purchase the stickers and made good with him and also have inquired about ordering other items through him. I used to adore this business, John Zachery was great. Shannon and Sherie were totally reliable, unfortunately the new owners came in and fired both of them because they didn't care to pay their wages. We are now left with Brenna who is about to leave on maternity leave. Congrats Brenna! The problem is that Brenna is the only one left with any knowledge of the printing business. To all of you out there that still utilize this business, RUN! No one knows how to use any of the equipment but her. If you find yourself working with the owner Kendall, please know she is laughing at and mocking you behind your back. She cares nothing about your job, nor does her husband Kyle. Everything is overpriced and they can't deliver anything on time, let alone professional quality. Their mailing services are twice the price of any mailer in Sac. Shop around. read more

Coming home from school, I was excited to support a local, small business. They originally quoted me at 40$, then 60$. The second price was a stretch for me, and I debated my options with them, eventually agreeing to the 60$ estimate. When I came for pick up, the print job was great; but, the cost was 80$. To boot, there was no apology for the 20$ discrepancy. I was disappointed with their customer service, their lack of consideration for my financial interest, and the inaccurate price estimates. As a customer I did not feel considered or valued. I will not continue using their service, or recommend it to others. read more
