This place is located off of Nevada City highway in Grass Valley (same shopping center as SavMart and B&C hardware. I dont like going to the post office around the holidays so this is a great place to go to! It does everything the post office can do! I went in today to make copies and send a letter certified. They have packaging material and a copy machine as well as a computer to use. They do passport photos...faxing...and have cute cards in the store. They have mail boxes inside that you can rent which is great! Becca waited on me and she was very friendly and professional! I really liked that there was no line and got in and out quickly! They open at 9am. Convenient location and plenty of parking available. I will definitely use them again for my Christmas packages! read more

I'm reluctant to review this joint as it seems a well-kept secret. If I could give 10 stars, I would. For those of us who have experienced the hellish nightmare that is the GV Post Office (not because of the employees there who are genuine and kind, but because everyone, their, neighbor, and all of their dogs go there, and half with bad attitudes, except the dogs): This place is Shangri-La! They helped me box two packages for two different places, handled three customers simultaneously, and had me out in 10 minutes, including a third package for Canada. Pretty sure there should be a shrine out front. Also, prices are THE SAME. They don't make money on shipping. They make money on mailboxes and packing stuff, and adorable cards and dodads. AND, they ship PO, FedEx, and UPS and give you a price comparison. Do yourself a favor, go here. Unless you have a crappy attitude, in which case please visit GV PO. Thanks! read more

I called about an issue with a live scan after they printed the wrong email. I recognize that there was a mistake but they should be willing to work to remedy or even take minimal responsibility for the mistake. They were rude and hung up on me because I had to call on someone's behalf as they are in the fire academy from 6:45am until 5-6pm. I can't believe someone could have such terrible customer service and not take any responsibility for the error. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. read more

I can't even give this place a rating . The owner should not be in the service business because she does not know how to deal with customers at all . She is rude and very unprofessional. She will literally scream at you and treat you like dirt . Her turn over of employees shows how she runs her business . I would say run don't walk if you're thinking about going to this place , there are other places in town that will treat you with respect and kindness . I've also heard her business practices are unethical and she is walking a fine line as to rules and regulations for shipping and handling your mail properly. Her shipping prices are so high as well. This has to be the worst mailbox business I have ever found my self walking into. First, all of the shipping prices are marked up. You will pay double even triple the money here than you would at the post office. Second, the owner of this store is rude and harsh. She is not a nice lady. No wonder there is such a huge turnaround of employees. No one wants to stay. Dont forget your key! Because if you forgot it, don't expect the owner to care. She will literally tell you she is the owner and can do what she wants to your face. Take your business elsewhere! Go to the post office! Will not issue a receipt for a prepaid drop off. Any business not willing to issue a receipt when you are dropping off your package is not worth using. Go to Postnet across the freeway, super nice people happy to give you a receipt. read more

Had my mail here for a few years. The two employees that work here are super helpful, friendly and accommodating. The women who own's it is terse, not very friendly and the first time I had any issues I was told it was the shipping company that made the error after making nearly no effort to try and help me. Very self righteous attitude and unhelpful. read more

Not very helpful. Previous owner knew what they were doing... Called beforehand to make sure they could 'help me' with renewing my passport, and was assured they would do that (fill out the application, get pictures taken, mail off the forms). So I went in, was given an application to fill out which asked for information I did not have. They could not tell me what to do in that case, and so I just had to leave rather than send in an incomplete form. Now I see that they had copied the wrong 2nd page). He copied the 1st page of the RENEWAL application, and the 2nd page of the NEW application. They still charged me for copying the wrong form. Way to run a business, folks! The notary in this place sucks!!!!? She refused to notarize my form because my ex wasn't there to sign a consent form. THERE WAS NO PLACE/reason for her to sign it! The woman tried inserting herself into our personal business of how consent forms for our children work! Stupid. She couldn't even read where it said that only one parent needs to sign. I used there internet as well as their printer at least 5 days a week. I consider that to be pretty loyal and also good for their business as i could go to the public library and USE the INTERNET FOR FREE!!! Now the situation that happened was, i signed in at 1;04 and used the computer for 15min which is $1.50 HOWEVER the lady behind the counter accused me of getting there at 1;02 and then went ON TO CHARGE ME AN ADDITIONAL $1.50. Now first of all i am a good customer she sees all the time. 2 - even if i had gone over by 2 minutes you would think that it would be good customer service to let that go 3- do you think it is good customer service to accuse your customer of lying? I am such an honest person as i even looked at the clock 3 times to make sure i wrote the right time down and then to be accused of getting there earlier than i did and then to be charged more money for a time i did not use. This IS THE WORST KIND OF CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER had !!!! I HOPE THE OWNER SEES THIS. THE LADY WHO DID THIS SHOULD REALLY BE CONSIDERED FOR HER VALUE TO THAT BUSINESS read more
