This UPS store charges $50 for a fax! No kidding ! Also they charged me six dollars $6.99 for two small plastic bags and printing of one shipping label. If I could give this store 0 stars I would. First, it's run like a teenage lemonade stand, except less efficiently. Always long waits and employees that seem to move slower than Post Office stores, yet even slower. Mask fanatics as well even when there is no mandate. But it's the latest dealing with them that has just left me dumbfounded. I had my daughter (I had to fly out of town) bring my sons laptop to this store to OVERNIGHT it to him in Post Falls in Idaho (30 minutes East of the Spokane Airport right off a major freeway. The charges are as follows: Box, a COMPUTER BOX the size of a laptop: $21 Overnight fee (computer arrived 3 days after she sent it): $194(!!) On top of this insane amount (again for an overnight delivery that took THREE DAYS to be delivered) there was a "fuel surcharge" as well. I was told this was for "rural" deliveries. Really? Post falls Idaho is next to Coeur d'alene. Between the two cities there are 100,000 people. It is 27 miles from the Spokane airport and right off a major highway. There is nothing rural about this unless you're comparing it to Los Angeles but of course it would take longer to get something delivered to Los Angeles because of traffic and other difficulties. Cost: $21(!) All told I paid almost $224 to ship a small laptop computer to a state the borders ours. I am filing a complaint with the store and also taking this up with UPS top brass. The UPS Store - Receipt - Printing Services Near Me - Grass Valley, California

I have used this location for many services over the years. I frequent this business at minimum weekly. They have new owners and when you drop prepaid items off they will not give you a receipt. I've gotten two different excuses. First one being the receipts cost money and the new owner doesn't want to give them out. But, today was the best excuse because this particular package was USPS he said it was a liability. I am not sure why they suddenly think this is okay, when you drop a package off with hundreds of dollars worth of items inside, I'd like a receipt to show you accepted it if not you should just not take prepaid items! I used this business because of its location but driving a mile down the road is worth the piece of mind, no more ups store! read more

Apparently I have a package that was delivered with about 10 different things in it and it's nowhere to be found. I tried to file a claim and it was confused about my zip code...? How were you able to deliver something to a zip code you say you can't find .especially since I already received 2 at that location just a few days ago. Not adding up. So no claim was able to be made and I'm now thinking of becoming a ups driver since you can apparently take off with people's packages and not have to answer for it. read more

I paid these people to properly pack my items so they'd be safe. Everything arrived to me damaged and when I contacted them they said it "wasn't their problem". I'll be able to file a claim myself with UPS for the damages, but was told by UPS staff that usually the store does it as a courtesy to customers. read more

I routinely drop off Amazon returns here. So, much to my embarrassment, today I ACCIDENTALLY (on auto pilot) dropped off a handful of my E-bay sales (with pre-paid shipping labels) that were in fact meant for USPS.... and like champions the kind folks here at UPS didn't even bother correcting me in the moment and a few hours later (upon realizing my error) I check online and find them well on their way and in transit, tracking numbers showing, no problem. I'm sure this happens often enough (might even just be policy). But boy do I appreciate them for it. On top of that these folks have always been friendly and attentive at this branch. I mailed a package in October, 2021 and a significant piece was omitted from the package and subsequently lost. Not only did they lose a part of my shipment, the package arrived with one corner crushed in and another corner torn so it was not packaged well. I immediately asked for help with all of this. The clerk who made the mistake was not terribly helpful. The manager did not respond to my phone messages or email. The customer service here was incredibly lacking. Finally I called the corporate UPS offices and they are assisting me with a claim as well as filing a complaint against this shop. As much as possible, I try to patronize local shops and businesses but I sure won't be back to this shop. read more

First of all, the UPS office is no where close to how much they charge at the Bank St. UPS Store. This place is ran like a train wreck. Everyone just seems to kinda float around and just do whatever they feel like doing at the moment. Employees ask you what you want and disappear into the back never to be seen again. You will often sit there unattended for extended periods before a completely different employee asks "Is anyone helping you?". Just watched the front of the store go unattended for a good ten minutes while watching employees chatting in the back, one of them who was supposed to be seeing to a printing job for me at the moment. I had a fairly complicated copy job that I left and returned to pick up. After reviewing it, I discovered one of the items that needed to be 15 copies was only 1. This could have been a miscommunication when I dropped off the job as I mentioned it was a fairly complicated job. I went back to get the extra copies made and it was very close to closing time. The manager went out of his way to be helpful, which was much appreciated as I needed the project for a meeting at 8am the next day. The staff at this place works hard and they are busy, especially nearing closing time. I will always go back to this store when I'm in Grass Valley. read more

The lines are ghastly. I dislike this place, the workers NEVER smile. High turnover rate. If you have questions, forget about getting them answered in a courteous manner or having them answered at all. The manager seems friendly enough, but, I have been personally hassled by one particular associate who perpetually calls me out for one reason or another. This associate's behavior is inappropriate, the things he says to me are reasons you might get into confrontation with someone if they said these things to you on the street. I have to bite my tongue. He's like the bad Target lady, commenting on the items you are shipping, but meddling and assuming. In other words, avoid this place. Be VERY careful shipping UPS on Bank Street. They over charged us by $200! They refuse to make it right. BEWARE. We requested the most affordable shipping possible. They charged us $240. My mom brought a stool to be shipped on 6/14. She purchased a box that they recommended and paid almost $90 for the box and shipping to AZ. It was to arrive 6/18. On 6/19 in the afternoon my mom called this store because tracking showed only label had been printed. She spoke with the owner who admitted he had held it up because his employee had suggested the wrong box size that would have cost $20 more. The employee was off for a few days so this was a long delay. The owner was full of excuses and very little apologies. He was worried about the $20 coming out of his pocket. During all of this, he did not contact my mom at all. I would give him 0 stars if I could. read more

We are Financial Advisors & CPA's. We use UPS a very large deal. We also use pre printed slips with our UPS account number on them. For years now, we have been able to drop off postage paid (with our slip on it). We have even encouraged our client's to drop off the pre paid UPS envelopes we supply them so they can get their information to our office without having to come in. A couple of weeks ago, one of my client's came in & told me that your store REJECTED our client's pre paid UPS shipment. We thought, there is no way because it was a pre paid UPS shipment. WELL, Friday, I walked into this store with some pre-paid UPS shipments & I was told that this store no longer lets us drop off UPS packages to be mailed off!?!?! WTF is going on with this world??? I stepped back, looked around, & said, this is still a UPS store correct? Imagine, a UPS store that won't accept pre-paid, pre-addressed shipments. I was & still am furious. Well guess what? Your lame ass store has lost our business & we will continue to slander this store in an effort to make the new owner wonder why their stupid ass new rule is helping to tank the store!?! I come to the store weekly to mail an item for work. Every week the employees are friendly even when extremely busy during the holiday season. When there are mistakes, through no fault of their own, they are responsive and have always taken good care of me. On a sidenote I sometimes bring my dog with me and they always love on him as well! I will be a faithful customer as a result of their hard work and effort. Lastly, the store is really clean and the amount of volume they do there it's amazing to me how organized it is. read more

I love this place. So convenient! Will continue to patronize their services. However, today I had an employee castigate me for attempting to leave an opened box of Comcast equipment on the counter for processing, without waiting in line; just a drop off. He got audibly upset and told me I had to wait in line because they, "Had to do a bunch of stuff [in order to process the return]." So, I waited in line. When I got to the counter, the rep, without obtaining any information from me whatsoever, removed the equipment from the box, put it in a bag, then handed me a receipt (which I didn't need). They didn't need any info from me, soooo, what all the "bunch of stuff" was that they had to do to process the return and why I had to wait in line, I have no idea. I guess this guy has simply had enough of people dropping boxes off for automatic returns... which is a service that UPS has signed on to provide with businesses such as Amazon and Comcast. Overall, great store, but this employee's frustration (or whatever it was) was misplaced today and I didn't appreciate it. So, this review is for the manager I suppose. read more

UPS on Bank St, Grass Valley, is just awesome. I have had such excellent and pleasant service there. (I sent a package on Monday and it has arrived at its destination in Utah today, Wednesday. This is Mid December, I might add.) They really seem to have their act together and keep things moving under very busy conditions at times. I also go there for my notary needs and that has been great as well. The drivers that come out to my home to make deliveries are equally pleasant and they really get the job done. Look at the conditions they work under - heat, rain, snow etc. And they are RUNNING! UPS - you are fabulous ! read more

This UPS Store Location Delivers Poor Customer Service. Their employees are rude and lazy. I do not recommend this store for Mailbox Services. Your mail will be lost. I'm cursed with the tendency to procrastinate, especially when I'm working on a project that needs to be professionally printed. Dennis from the UPS Store caught me on one of those days where I'd waited til the last minute to have something printed up for my sister's baby shower. Not being from Grass Valley, I hadn't realized there wasn't a convenient Kinko's or Office Max around to run in and have something printed at, so at 6:30pm on a Friday afternoon as I frantically called every potential print shop in town, hearing Dennis' voice was such a relief! Calling the UPS Store was complete chance, as I had no idea they did printing in the first place. But Dennis reassured me they did full-color prints and could take care of my tabloid baby shower poster. Their store had even CLOSED at 6, but he must've heard the urgency/panic in my voice because he said it would be fine to email him the print anyway. At this point, I figured it would be $30 for one copy, like I'm used to expecting from Kinko's. Got to the store and Dennis had my prints ready with a smile, and the cherry on top? They were only like $4 total! Totally made my day and saved my ass. Thank you so much Dennis! You definitely get five stars from me. read more
