    I wished that I had seen these yelp reviews prior to allowing my home warranty company to assign…read moreLaha Appliance to repair my kitchen gas range. This vendor is beyond horrible. I contacted my Home warranty company because one of six burners on my stove would no longer light. It was due to a simple ignitor not working. My request was initially made on February 1, it is now March 8. Laha initially sent out a technician who informed me that he did not have the parts to do the job. We waited two weeks for the parts to arrive. After which time they sent what I have later to learned to be an inexperienced 20 year old tech novice to perform the repair. I sensed from the beginning that he did not know what he was doing but knowing even less I let him continue. During his repair he broke a gas value that caused massive quantities of gas to escape in my home so much so that I yelled for my wife and daughter to leave the home immediately as this was a very dangerous situation. The technician managed to pull the stove from the wall and turn off the gas at the gas feed line. The next day, the company sent out another supposedly more experience repairman ..... you would think that they would have done this the first time considering that my stove is a very expensive and complex Thermador gas range. In any event , we needed a new part to replace the part that the first technician broke. Ok wait for it .... wait for it .... the second technician did not have the part for this repair but suggested ( without directly saying ) that he would likely "return tomorrow" as they would need to express order the part. I think this was his way of getting out of my house because the real news is that it would take many days for a new part to arrive. Expecting the part to arrive the next day, I was later informed by the 2nd technician on the next day that the part would not arrive. I waited a few days and finally called the main office at the Pittsboro location. .....I left a message. and did not receive a response. So I drove approximately 15 miles to their office where I met a woman/employee ( who for the time being will remain nameless) who acknowledged that she had received my message but offered no reason as to why she or the company did not respond. The woman that I spoke to told me that the Home Warranty Company had ordered the part and that it would take approximately ten days for it to arrive. She also said that the company ordered the part as well and it would take approximately three days to arrive .... the three days has come and gone. ( In terms of business ethics ...... there is no reason for the Home Warranty Company to pay for a part that the technician broke ) My problem with the Home Warranty Company is that they clearly are not vetting their vendors but that's another story. At this point ( March 8) I am still without use of my stove. My next steps are to put Laha appliance on full blast in the local media; and take them to court should my range not be fixed this week. I am also engaging the Home Warranty Company regarding this vendor's service or lack thereof and compensation for this misery. In any event, I hope and pray that no other person or family has to go through what my family is dealing with at this time. I am optimistic that the situation will get resolved favorably because I'm the wrong bull to mess with.... Good folks, you've been WARNED !!!! Will D
