Went here to send property tax payment during a short lunch break and asked about postmarked since it was a first time for me to do this so close to due date. The owner just said oh we don't do that.. go to post office. I'm like uhm... ok... but thanks to a lady customer who told him off saying "that does not help her much" and explained to me what postmarked is and gave me directions to a post office nearby. There's no option for zero stars so the 1 star is for the customer who is nice enough to give a service she didn't have to. read more

Worst UPS location EVER!! I went in to drop off a Amazon return. I needed to print out a label and tape the box. The guy charged me $1 for a piece of tape and $2.33 to print out the label! RIPOFF! I've been going to this UPS store for some time now... well, every time I have to make a UPS drop off, I bring it over here. I do all my shipping labels on the computer and print outs. Get the package all ready before I send it over here... so basically, all I have to do is just drop it off. The staff is particularly nice, not all of them though. I believe the manager or owner, not sure what's his job description is... but he's kinda rude, but not too bad. The rest of the staff though... very friendly and good. Just keep note of this. Overall experience is a good one. I haven't been here long enough to say they're great, so I'd give em 3 stars for now, may change later though. read more

This old Asian man is completely rude to non-asians... I went to drop a letter that I needed to overnight and he says it's $47... Are you kidding me?? Not only is this man over charging costumers coming into his business, he's rude too... Update July 2017 This old Asian guy is still rude as hell! I stopped coming to UPS store in pasasena on Foothill one a year ago due to his blatant rudeness and also scamming us (charging a dollar for him to slap some tape on the boxes). (See my previous review) So today I had a drop off and decided to go there again, hoping the old mean Asian man wasn't there anymore. WRONG! He was in there being just as rude as ever. Tossing people's packages to the pile on the floor! Charged the customer in front of me a dollar just to apply a strip of tape, AND snatched the shipping paper out of my hand. No hello, no welcome. Nothing. I mean this guy has a well honed and perfected way of making you feel like a piece of crap during your business exchange! I'm telling you he's got it down to a science! To be fair, he appeares friendly with the Asian girl that walked in after me, giving her a wave and eye contact as she walked in the door. I guess he picks and chooses. Don't walk out of this store - RUN! I cannot remember ever a more completely disengaged, disinterested business owner. This firm refused to provide a receipt for a warranted phone return shipment but told me "not to worry, it's scanned and in our system". It never showed. I returned with the label number and they refused to even attempt to search, claiming that they have no records of what they receive for shipment! Apparently their computers are just for show. I'm out $ 300 and they could not be less concerned - in the shipping business and refusing to even attempt to discover where they mislaid my shipment! This raises shabby to a new height. read more

I have been with this UPS store for over 15 years now and would no go anywhere else. Pi-ning, his wife and all of the employees have been nothing but polite, accommodating and professional. The husband and wife couple who run this store seem miserable and love to complain and chastise the customer any chance they can get. I simply wanted to drop off a package for return and they were complaining the barcode was difficult to scan due to me taping over the barcode. They were able to manually put in the barcode information and it was in the system. I don't understand the reason for their poor customer service. I thought something as simple as a drop-off would avoid the complaints lots of other reviews stated... nope, I will be avoiding this place in the future and you should too. read more

DON'T COME TO THIS LOCATION!!! No other store charges for taping up a small box but this store charges $1. It's not that $1 is a lot of money but how much can 6" of tape cost vs the value of good customer service!? They rather lose out on a shipping sale than sacrifice 6" of tape. Ok, been going to this UPS store for years. I knew they were a tad more than the post office, but figured the quick service and all my info in the computer saved time. I went in today with a box that was a bit shorter than a shoe box weighing 1.25 pounds. The owner plugged in my info, handed me the address and asked if it was correct, I stated yes. He went to put the label on and I said, "wait, how much is it?" He replied "fourteen dolla." (yes I know I left off the 'r') My shocked reply was, "what, I know it can't be that much, the post office will be cheaper." He handed me back the box and said, "It go long way." As I walked out I said, Indiana is not long way, Puerto Rico is long way. I went over to the the post office, $10 ! So, the UPS owner has decided to jack up his prices. Siyanara. read more

I wished I could give a rating of a zero star. I don't like to write reviews but felt compelled to do so. The owner has terrible customer service. I had a package shipped to this location and he said he didn't received it. I gave him the confirmation info from UPS which said he had signed for it, his response was I sign for many things it doesn't mean I got the package. Have you ever felt sorry for an employee? A young girl employee was trying to help me and the owner told her to stop! He yelled at her when she was on the phone with another customer and grabbed the phone out of her hand. He was with a customer at the time and basically left him hanging. The customer walked out confused. After he treated another customer like that, and then told her to let me take care of my paperwork myself, I picked up my packages and left. This location has the worst customer service and the staff has no respect for your packages. I pay for their services in hopes that my mail gets handled better than usps but that is not the case. They will literally SHOVE your packages in your box even if you pick them up within the hour of their call. This is not the first time I had bad experience here. Im taking my business to the location on Colorado blvd in Pasadena. Its about 1.5 miles away and their staff is pleasant and way more helpful than these guys. read more

I was deterred to come here from the negative reviews. I gave it a shot anyways. I know now why this UPS store received such negative reviews after having experienced the staff myself. I walked in. I'd opt for ZERO stars were that an option. I told the attendant (mature man, appeared Asian) I had two requests: To make a copy & obtain a box. He brusquely waved me out saying: 'No copy. Go Staples'. I said ok, how about showing me a list of box size options. Rudely again in reply: 'No list for you. Tell me size you want. That's it.' Not acceptable. This place is useless. I went there to ship an item UPS ground and the guy was short with me saying I had to ship it next day or second day air and they didn't have labels for ground as a policy. He said I would have to go home and print a label online and he couldn't help me. I know I can print labels at home, if that's the case then why the hell do I need a UPS store? This location is poorly run. I needed to print one piece of paper, which I had on a flash drive and available to email, and they tried to charge me $2.00 to use their computer to pull up the file, then $0.15 for the actual printing. I explained that I had my computer and could just email the file directly to them to print, but they insisted that I had to pay the $2.00 fee to use their computer even though I wasn't going to use their computer at all. I highly advise against visiting this location. read more

I've actually never been pleased with PN's level of customer service. Been a customer of this location for several years now. Every time I've dropped in he has been rude, brash, or impatient with most customers I've seen him interact with. Never had a problem with him until the last couple of visits and I must say as of today's encounter I will never be doing business with him again. Last visit, prior to today's, I had requested a shipment go out on account via Ground. Was told by PN that UPS no longer provides this method and that my only choices were Overnight or 2nd day air. Needing to send anyway I proceeded with the latter. Today, I needed to ship an item without any urgency and so, to save money requested Ground on account knowing full well the option was still available. I had completed a drop off using this method at another location the day before. After the request, PN once again stated he only had the Overnight and 2nd day air available. When I stated that another location provided me with the requested form just yesterday, he then replied "then go to the other location". In rather disbelief at the reply I stated that I'd been a regular customer for several years, but only to receive the reply, "business is really good". Regular customers most often keep business afloat, especially during tough times. Too bad this owner does not value each and every customer contributing to whatever success he may be seeing. I received the exact service I requested from the UPS store on California and Fair Oaks. They'll be receiving my business from now on. read more

The owner PN is great, the staff is friendly and helpful and always accommodating. It's a great location for a PO box, nearby BoA, Ralphs, Peet's Coffee, dry cleaners, and several restaurants. So it's always convenient for us to swing by to get mail or send things off while doing other things nearby. What else can you say? It's not affiliated with the postal service (obviously), so if you are sending something USPS, you'll pay a little service charge for postage. read more

I was hesitant at first when I read some of these reviews, but as always, I like to keep an open mind about different businesses. Some people are very quick to jump to conclusions and post a negative review about a place based on just one experience. A good example to learn from, my wife and I have been to our favorite Thai restaurant at least 15 times over the last 2 years - on one of those visits we experienced an off-night, the food was bad and the service was terrible ... had that one night been our first time to that place, we may not have gone back (although we usually give places other chances). So, always keep an open mind, you never know what's going on at a business or a restaurant and don't be so quick to jump to conclusions. Now, as for my experience at this UPS store, the owner was fast and very polite even though it was very busy, he was able to multitask and assist other customers. He notarized my document, copied all my paperwork and shipped my package all within 10 minutes. I will use this place again and again ... and remember, just because you have one bad experience, don't let that be the benchmark for that place and give them multiple opportunities. read more

I truly hate writing one-star reviews; however, I LOVE writing them when they're earned and well-deserved. Here's my beef with the joker at this place.... I had a box that was dimensionally smaller than a shoebox. It was a cell phone return box for Verizon Wireless. It required literally ONE piece of tape to seal the box. Seriously, one strip of tape 12 inches long would have been more than enough to make the little package ready to be shipped. He charged me $1. That's right! For a 12-inch long piece of tape! I'm sorry, but if you can't incur the cost of roughly one one-hundredth of a roll of tape as a cost of doing business, you're pathetic. Truly. The employee that helped me was even shaking their head. Never will I set foot in this place again. There are plenty of UPS stores around. What a cheap bastard! read more

Went in to mail a large box for Christmas and he said it would be $158 to get there in time. It would be $78 for late delivery. He said USPS would be even more $$ and no guarantee. Took my box to USPS instead and mailed it with guaranteed delivery by Christmas for $54...... but, he was not rude. Just way off on price. Everything online says UPS is always cheaper.
