I needed to have some important documents shredded and they were quick to offer assistance and a price quote over the phone. I learned that the shredding is not done on site but sent out and very secure. When I went into the store they assisted me in getting my boxes inside and speedy service. I'd use this service again. read more

Today, Thursday Sept 10th I arrived at UPS in Pacific Grove to drop off a stack of returns that were already labeled for my Mom. Mind you I am a caregiver and have a 2 year old full time. It's extremely hot out ( I have a serious autoimmune illness which gives me migraines in the heat) and It was clear that I was in a rush ( by the stack of boxes I brought in all at one time). I told them I did not need a receipt and that I needed to go pick up my baby. He was crying his eyes out and I still had prescriptions to pick up ( but that's besides the point) . I asked if I could just leave the boxes with them. The two women working ( one dark haired younger woman, and a light hair middle aged woman) immediately told me I had to scan all of the boxes myself. When I asked if they could please help me they said I still needed to do it myself. When I refused to do so ( because I know they are able to do it) one of them says that they weren't a mail carrier or postal service. ( Darker haired woman) Something of that sort . The other one says that for next time I have to do it myself. ( lighter haired older woman) At least she said it with a smile but WOW. I was the ONLY customer in there and there were two of them in an air conditioned facility. I was blown away. What is your job then? I will never go back to this store. Never. I'm nervous my Mom's packages won't get to where they need to go now. I've worked in customer service all of my life and have even taught classes to employees. This store needs work. You never know what someone is going through and you should treat everyone with respect and kindness. Half the people going in there won't know how to do that themselves . That's why you are there. To do your job and help people. The only kind thing one of the ladies did was pick up one of the packages that fell off my stack ( dark haired young woman) so I will give her credit for that. But the attitudes were uncalled for. I want to also add, the reason my Mom sends me is because you were rude to her before. So , Take care. I wish you two better days ahead. read more

I had an amazon return & stopped in today, plenty of parking & there was no wait, 2 people were working today, the place is small, the gal that helped me was cheerful & nice read more

Good service but UPS charges double the price for scanning that you can do at nearby FedEx.

The male staff had the most outrageous customer service! He has that awesome personality. Thank u

The older woman with blonde hair is very rude to me on 2 occasions and to my girlfriend on a separate visit by herself. I truly believe she acted this way to me and my girlfriend is because we are not Caucasian. She literally did not offer to ask me if I needed help or if I had a Drop Off, even though it was obvious as I came in with 2 boxes stacked that I carried in. Instead she helped a Caucasian female who was behind me first. This happened with my girlfriend on another occasion, going to another customer who was behind her, who does that? The prejudice she displayed was so obvious and disturbing. If she is the owner of this UPS Store she needs to check and correct herself, if she is an employee work somewhere else where you do not have to assist customers. read more

I've been a regular customer at this UPS Store location for more than 10 years and consistently received prompt and reliable service from staff. I especially appreciate Mandy for always welcoming me by name with a cheerful smile. read more

I've always had friendly, helpful service here. I do my Amazon return here all the time and have never had a problem.

They do a good job and are much more customer service oriented than both UPS and fed ex on lighthouse.

DONT DO AMAZON RETURNS HERE!! Gave my 2 AMAZON returns to the lady at the counter. She was irritated that I wanted to make a purchase at the same time. Gave me no receipt(s) for my purchase OR amazon returns. Only ONE actually made it back to amazon. do NOT trust this store with your returns!!!! You'll spend months fighting with amazon for credit over products you no longer possess. DONT DO AMAZON RETURNS HERE read more

This ups store loves to tack on an extra 15$ for their failure to deliver a package to my physical location! HORRIBLE AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

This is the third time I have dropped off a package at this location with a prepaid label and the item mysteriously never arrived. I was always able to overlook the rude lady who is always there because, lets face it it dosnt seem like the most glamorous of jobs. However these past three boxes were clearly labeled to where they were going, ie "Best Buy" and were never received. When I asked her about it she was extremely rude. Do not trust this location with your items. I am out money and can do nothing about it read more

Their customer service couldn't be worse if they tried. I swear it gets worse everytime I have to go in.

I really appreciate the ladies there at the UPS store they're kind they knew all the questions I had to ask it was fair and pricing for where I had a ship to and they are very knowledgeable I'm very thankful that they made my experience very easy going read more

Do NOT go to this store for any services besides drop off. They charged me twice as much to print 4 black and white pages I had emailed to them. They charged $2 for an email service then .25 cents per copy. I called a UPS store in seaside and they charge $1 for any service fees and .12 per copy. My advice is to avoid this store in general and it's unfortunate because I live in pacific grove and support UPS. read more

This UPS Store is the best. I go out of my way to do business at this specific location because of the excellent service I receive from Mandy, Fiona, and the rest of the crew. Normally I just drop off Amazon returns. This is handled quickly and I always get a receipt (which I've needed on occasion to confirm a return). When I needed a birth certificate request notarized, Mandy handled this expertly in a pleasant and supportive way. I save up any UPS needs I have when out of town and bring them all here when I return. Trust me, I've been to some real stinkers in other cities and these guys get it right. read more

Fiona behind the desk lacking in Customer Service. No hello, no smile or can I help you. Snarky remarks. Will go somewhere else next time with friendlier service. read more

The employees at this store are exceptionally rude. Like I'm not expecting them to be super overly welcoming and animated, but it seems like they are unaware of how to conduct basic customer service skills. It seems like their goal is to run people the wrong way. And typically, every time I go in there, they charge me some odd and expensive amount for the simplest of things. But when I go to the UPS on lighthouse, I don't get those charges for the same things I ask for on Forest. I would just avoid this store completely because even if you just need to pop in real quick just to take care of something small, it will be an unexpected bad experience. read more

These people are so nice! I notice all the bad reviews are about amazon.. Amazon makes their own rules! If you don't like Amazon rules, you shouldn't blame UPS. It's not their fault Amazon doesn't know how returns work or how horrible Amazon packing skills are. Not to mention the amount of plastic bags Amazon uses for their returns (killing the sea turtles and the planet). I feel bad for these workers, they take so much abuse read more

The past 2 visits I've had going to this UPS store felt very uncomfortable. I didn't have a problem with this store last year seeing that it was mostly this young woman working behind the counter who was very polite and attentive towards the customers and myself. Now there's this blond lady who mostly runs the front counter, and makes me feel super uncomfortable as I come in. I'm not sure what exactly her problem is but I absolutely do not appreciate her cold demeanor or attitude. I've been trying to avoid this place as much as possible and go to the UPS on Washington St which is alright but waaay better than this one. Unfortunately, today I had no other choice than to go to this store and once again when I asked if they received my print order, the blond lady was condescending and cold. I think I have an idea as to why she might be coming off this way seeing that this store is in a prodominantly white neighborhood, but hey that's just my theory. read more

Very nice and helpful people in the store. They helped make sure I had everything done correctly for my package that I was sending to Canada. They were also very patient with me, when I had a few questions. Overall I had a great experience and will come back. read more

Folks at the Forest Ace location are top notch. I do a lot of personal business through them -- notary services, shipping, fax and special printing and a ton of package receipt and Amazon returns. They are fast, effective, professional and yet personal. I appreciate their support. read more

Fast, efficient, and very friendly. They have helped me with packages sent to Canada, Passport photos, and pre-paid drop off packages. What more could I ask for!! I hear they even package your items. Can't wait to try that! Hope they are around for a long long time. Plan to send my husband there to get his Passport photo. Maybe they can make him look good!!!! read more

I have used this UPS store located at 1120 Forest Avenue in Pacific Grove 3 times and each time the Customer Service was not "Customer Friendly" Today was the last time I will use this location (only use because it is minutes away from where I live) The owner/manager (older woman with blonde hair) has been friendly with me not sure why but I am believing it is because I'm not Caucasian). I am in line waiting for the next Customer to finish with a man behind me as I walk up to her she looks at me and doesn't say hello but sternly asks "Do you have your Amazon Code?" I said yes as I was going to give to her she just sets me aside to the next Customer and helps him (Caucasian male) and has a long conversation about his mail, the weather and what is he going to do the rest of the afternoon, etc. While I'm waiting she comes back to me not saying sorry or apologizing but asks "Do you have your Amazon Code?" I answered yes i had it the first time.... You can call it miscommunication or whatever but all 3 times she short doesn't say Hello or thank you and acts like I'm bothering her. I was born and raised in Monterey and can't understand why some people act like this...this world is going backwards. I will go a little bit further to the UPS Store on Lighthouse Ave as those employees greet you and say Hello and Thank you....not very hard to do. read more

I paid over $300 for a box for a year. A package was delivered by Fed Ex in December and signed for by Mandy. I never received a notice that I had a package. I called an spoke with Iris who said they had no record of the package. They want me to call Fed Ex to find out what happened to the package. I think that is their responsibility since they signed for it. The corporate office is no help. They can't even find the Pacific Grove store in their database. read more

Many and her staff are a true pleasure to deal with. Very friendly, fast and efficient.

Every time I come in here, everyone is so nice. Mandy always is super helpful and friendly which is so nice especially during Covid times. This branch makes me not minding going into a UPS! read more

Always terrific service! Fiona and crew are helpful, professional and efficient. Super happy with the service.

10/10 service I would die for the young lady named Katelyn. I had to send something all the way to New York (for my cousin that doesn't even deserve it but that's a story for a different day) and Katelyn was extremely helpful in packaging what I needed to send. She was very professional and I was in and out of there in no time. Thank you Katelyn and UPS for the wonderful service I will be returning next time I (unfortunately) need to send something to my ungrateful cousin. read more

You need a lot of patience, a thick skin and more cash on you than you expect you'll need if you have the misfortune of being a walk-in customer to this UPS store. I don't know if they've changed hands recently, but the attitude of the clerks is definitely different than it used to be. Not overtly rude (like the UPS store in the Del Monte Center) but definitely not friendly and welcoming to walk-ins. I went in needing a single black and white photocopy--a quick, simple and straightforward trip, or so I thought. I assumed the photocopy would be less than a dollar. My mistake! It was $1.50. I had a $20 in my wallet, but the clerk asked if I had anything smaller. I did--a $1 and some loose change. The clerk kept rolling her eyes and sighing, treating me like I was a doddering old fool as I went through my loose change for the extra 50 cents--and this was after I'd patiently waited while she took two people before me (even though I was there before them but I guess they looked more affluent than me so she waited on them, first). How could one black and white photocopy on regular paper cost $1.50? Do they charge regular customers this much or do they just overcharge walk-ins they deem beneath them? This isn't the first time I've gone there with a simple job only to either have to wait and wait and wait while the clerks ignored me in preference for personal phone chats or sorting through packages, or to be treated like I'm not wanted but it will be my last. Message received. I'm taking my business elsewhere, like Kinkos. read more

I go here all the time, almost DAILY. They ladies that work there (Mandy and Fiona) are so nice and bend over backwards to help me. Wonderful customer service!! I usually have to return things from Amazon and it takes a few seconds, at the most! They also have helped me package and ship items, as well as print off and scan documents for work. They are the BEST!!! read more

I had to send a fax. I got there and there was a person in front of me. He was picking up a package so that went quickly. When I entered the store there was a woman sitting down talking to the clerk as one passed more customers came to the point that several were waiting outside. The clerk who was helping the woman sitting down never even acknowledged me. So more waiting. Waited at least 1/2 hour. Finally a second clerk came. She sent the fax sheet, collected the money and told me to move somewhere else even though I was not finished with the fax. Then she says I will bring the return answer fax out to you you need to go outside. By this time I was infuriated and I said I am not coming back to this store ever. After awhile which seemed like a long time she finally brings the answer fax to me. In the meantime the original woman sitting at the counter with the other clerk is still sitting and still talking to the clerk. When she brought the answer fax outside I said thank you but will never set foot in that place again. To make matters worse I recently injured my leg so I had a cane. Nevertheless they were grossly rude. Avoid this place. read more

This ups store is the best one in the county. The staff is perfect!! Always super friendly and helpful

I moved up here January 15 from orange county California. One of the most important things for me while not yet settled into my permanent resident, was making sure my mail was delivered and Secured. I was told by a coworker that the UPS store On Forest Avenue is super organized, with an incredible staff. So I Took into consideration my coworkers words, went up to the UPS store on forest signed up for a PO Box. I now can say I am so very happy I did. In the first week alone, I had spoken to three different employees Mandy, Cliff and Fiona. When I would ask anyone of them a question or ask for any large mail I was looking for. They would Recognized me and say "oh yes Rob will be Right back with it" Or oh Rob Is your mail box location working well for you? I think they must have a Facial recognition camera in there that whispers in their ear, Rob just walked in. If they don't they're just that committed to their clients. Thanks again Rob M read more
