Since there's no option to yelp ups delivery drivers I'll drop it off here...seems to work for them! I've been waiting all day for a package I ordered, just like before, the ups driver fails to make the delivery citing delivery attempt was made...but it wasn't. I've tracked the delivery all the way from India and insured the delivery instructions were adequate. I selected the front door delivery at my apartment and included the door code. I caledl UPS customer service, spoke with one representative that I could barely understand due to the language barrier who couldn't give me an alternate pick up address because apparently the driver was still out. I asked to be warm transferred to a manager, meaning the rep would fill the manager in on the details of the call. After holding for 42 minutes I spoke with a supposed supervisor who basically said tough luck, pick it up at the depot tomorrow. I explained to her that I was very disappointed in their overall performance again and insisted they actually attempt to deliver my package tomorrow; I shouldn't have to burn fuel because the delivery driver was unable to do his job. The package was set or for delivery at 8am today and at 1656 it was postponed as an attempted delivery. Inadequate to say the very least! We'll see what happens tomorrow‍. It's Tuesday, as you can see, more incompetence! Just because there's a wifi decal on the sensor doesn't mean you're required to have a key card or fob, illuminate the keypad and enter the code from the delivery instructions!! Today I've been on the phone for 00:28:56 After giving detailed verbal instructions I'm being told that they will be relayed to the driver...after 2 attempts in 2 days my confidence is shaken. read more

This is my favorite UPS store - I always have a ton of Amazon returns and they are always so genuinely patient and kind. Even if a line forms and I apologize they reassure me it's no problem and to take my time so we can get the service taken care of. I brought in a telescope along with accessories that totaled 4 very large boxes needing to be shipped to NY. SK was very helpful from the start. He transported them out of my vehicle into the store. He was attentive to make sure each box had the appropriate stickers, ie. Fragile, This Side Up, Heavy, etc. And, he gets high marks for overall customer service and friendliness. Got the worst customer service experience I ever had in my life at this location today. She ( pictured) called me stupid for not already knowing how to verify a prepaid shipping label before coming into the store. In her own words... "How can I help you if you don't already know what to do? ". I mentioned politely that I never had a customer service experience before like this and at that point she called me 'stupid" and invites me to leave the store which I was already in the process of doing. I was charged $10 just to pick up a package that was delivered there. It cost more to pick up the package than it did to ship it! The associate was nice, but the manager was not. When I asked where it says there is a fee on their website, he said it's the asterisk. UPS Store is a joke. Najma, the clerk refused to give me a receipt for my returns because the new person made a mistake that they said they couldn't fix. I called Amazon and they said they had no proof I'd returned it. so I went back inside and asked for my packages back or for a receipt. She said to come back in a few weeks if Amazon didn't receive them. I said come back with no proof I left them here and that she would be able to remember me and do something about it? no! I wanted a receipt or my package back. She became hysterical and started yelling so I got out my camera because she was accusing me of being a problem and I wanted to document it and see who was actually the problem. Facial expression like I was a shopplifter, mannerisms rude and cold, crinkled up the paper I brought in with the UPS code. No words. I have used UPS notary services before without issue, but I just had an experience today that was a waste of time and beyond frustrating. I needed a simple letter notarized. After going to my scheduled appointment, the person there said they could not notarize the letter because they didn't like how the letter was written, and the person whom the letter was about (not authored by) was not there. I'm not sure this notary understands how notary works. The letter was dictated by the institution that required it, and the notary assures that the identity of the person signing and sees the signature placed. Apparently not at this location! Ridiculous. Thanks for the waste of time. UPS- Please make sure your notaries are familiar with the process. read more

I came here several months ago to drop off package and the woman open my package looked in and asked me if it was a s3xtoy and why in the world I was returning it. It was a harness for my puppy. I was a palled that she open my package to begin with but then for it to be followed up with that, I was shocked. She then proceeded to hit on me and the entire experience was very unprofessional and uncomfortable. I reached out to Better Business Bureau And nothing ever came of it. Went back by today and a woman named Roza was rolling her eyes and giving attitude to the customer before me as she walked off and then the first thing out of her mouth when I went up to the desk was "this is exactly why I f*cking smoke." The level of unprofessionalism here is ridiculous. It used to be good back in the day but whoever runs the place has changed. I now use the location in Tukwila as much as possible but both times I've had to come here out of convenience having terrible experiences. I don't know why it seems to be such an issue where these employees are getting the idea that it's OK to act in the way that they are. Something seriously needs to be done here. I can't find any contact information for a manager, so hopefully this catches somebody's attention. But stay away at all costs if you can. read more

This place is the worst! When I moved here last year the employees were kind and efficient, and coming here rather than the USPS was a joy. Now no one there has any idea what they're doing, and there's never more than person at the register. Even though I've been there when there were 6(!) employees in the store. I asked the poor girl at the register why no one was helping her (as the ones in the back were laughing and goofing around) and she said, "I honestly don't know." Lines are long, and wait times are the same if not worse than the post office. Super, super disappointing, especially in comparison to how it used to be. * I mailed a package to my family last week. It cost me $18 to send a standard sized calendar. When I went to track it today, the website said the label was created yesterday and it's currently in Tacoma. WTF!!!!? I know we had a lot of snow, but I sent 2 cards via USPS the same day and they arrived in PA on Tuesday. THIS PLACE IS THE WORST! I wish I could give them negative stars. read more

I have been coming here for a while and doing amazon returns and shipping my packages here and even when I come with my items not packed the store associates are so polite and let me know how to properly pack my return items, I always come in during a busy time and hear how some of the customers treat the associates. I always thank them for being so kind and patient I have experienced a time when they feel flustered with the overcrowding of customers during holiday season but they try their best and I can understand their point of view because I have seen some of the customers treat them so unfair and unruly like the amazon return instructions are their fault. I have seen some of the customers treat them so badly and I know their frustration of dealing with customers being disrespectful and still trying to maintain a smile. I've been a box holder at the Normandy Park UPS office for 4.5 years. I have peace of mind knowing my packages are safely inside there until I can pick them up. Over the years, I've encountered exceptionally good employees--mostly young adults or students. They are efficient and well-trained, considering the turnover I've experienced. Where to start...when I think of a UPS store I just think of shipping. But recently I started my own business and needed an official mailing address for it so since I live in Normandy Park I thought why not the UPS store? It was taken over by a past and now present customer of mine which I now call a close friend due to the relationship we have built over our common goal of successful small business. Gloriana has helped me with open arms from day one with the smallest of things like a book of stamps to a banner needed in 24 hours for a trade show. I didn't realize before how much these stores offer and now I am doing all of my printing and business needs through them because they are helpful, honest and reasonable. I don't usually write reviews online because I simply don't have the time with a new baby and a growing business but when I saw this wonderful new business recent bad reviews I knew I had to take 5 mins out of my day to pay back the help they have given me and shed some light on the recent events at her store... There had been a buzz around the UPS franchises that Gloriana is a wonderful UPS franchise owner (she owns another store in Lakewood) and so when UPS decided to run a new campaign about small business and UPS she was recommended. When they came here from CA to interview her she was asked if there were any small businesses that she had built relationships with that may be a good fit for a story. She recommended my company and a few others and UPS selected her and I because of our friendship built on a foundation of the work she has done for me. So while we were filming (02/27-03/08) she had to have her establishment ran out of a UHaul truck, but made every attempt to inform her customers with notices in the mailboxes (I had one in mine :)), signs on the door, posts on the blog and talk around town. This commercial was made to help small businesses and not hurt them so I am very sad to see that this was seen in a negative light. Gloriana is a wonderful person and a very helpful and professional business owner. So I ask the people who maybe had a not so awesome experience during the chaotic time of filming that they come and give her store another chance. read more

Contrary to earlier reviews, the new staff, especially Lee, is ALWAYS extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The kinda guy (and girls) you want to hang out with over a cup of coffee.... but they all seem quite busy as this is a popular store. I just joined Yelp specifically to give UPS ZERO stars. I just received the worst customer service of my life from them. I have been home for the past three days waiting for their delivery and finding their little sticky notes on my door.... and yet they never buzzed. I work from home, I have been here the entire time. This is not the first time this has happened and the local office has just brushed me off, again. I have to now find my way to the inconveniently located local office to pick it up myself. Tried this place again just because I thought I could run in and just drop off a pre-paid UPS package and get a receipt. Left after 10 minutes. Two people were being helped and were not even close to done when I left, it took so long! I don't understand this store and I will not be back. Last night, 5 minutes before closing, Colton (the only employee still there) bent over backwards to help me get some extremely important things printed.
