    They don't like dealing with Amazon returns and it shows. They make everything difficult if it involves an Amazon return.

    I had UPS pack an oil painting and ship to Dallas. The Dallas recipient notified me stating she…read morereceived a gun case and not an oil painting. She provided the packing list included with the gun case. I refunded her money. I reached out to the sender of the gun case to let him know. He said he ships a lot at this UPS location and this happens from time-to-time. I called the local UPS number and was instructed I could leave my number for a call back. The call back was from someone I could not understand. He gave me a reference number and said someone else would call me back. Someone else called and told me to call the local store directly! I replied saying that is exactly what I did. They said they would investigate. In the meantime UPS picked up the gun case delivered to my Dallas recipient. The manager of the local UPS told me he would look into what had happened. He said I did not need to come into the store and that he would keep me informed. I heard nothing from him for two days. I went into the UPS store on Saturday and asked them to have him call me. Today, (Monday afternoon), I went to the store to talk to him, Ralph, as I had not received a call back. He said he was going to call me once the painting was returned. I asked him, "retuned from where?". He went to his desk and made a phone call. He returned stating he would call me when "they" called to let him know where the painting ended up. This is THE most inefficient system I have ever experienced. I am out $300 plus the painting. There is a complete lack of urgency in any of this. Totally unacceptable.

    I wanted to share my recent experience at the UPS store, as the situation became unnecessarily…read morestressful and concerning. My mom, who was visiting from out of state, shipped a package to herself through your store. The item was packaged by your team and sent as an overnight delivery (costing close to $400 for overnight) Unfortunately, the package did not arrive on the expected date. While we understood there could be delays due to Sunday, it arrived even later than anticipatedand ultimately arrived damaged. A store employee had mentioned they would follow up regarding the SGR, but we did not receive a call the next day as promised. My mom attempted to call the store multiple times without success, but no one answered. Since she is not local, I went into the store on her behalf to help get an update. For context, I am currently 37 weeks pregnant, so making the trip was already physically taxing. When I arrived, I explained the situation to a younger employee and put my mom on speaker so she could provide details directly. At that point, an older employee came to the front and immediately assumed my mom was yelling on the phone, which was not the case. Instead of calmly assessing the situation, he became visibly frustrated and began raising his voice toward the phone. I repeatedly asked him to stop yelling, as it was escalating the situation and causing unnecessary stress, especially given my condition. Unfortunately, he continued, showing little awareness of how inappropriate the behavior was. In addition to the tone of the interaction, several of his comments were confusing and came across as dismissive and guilt-inducing. For example, when we brought up that the package had arrived damaged and that we had not received a follow-up call as promised, he responded by saying that if the package had been processed the day before, "we wouldn't have known about the damage." This did not make sense in context, especially since we were told we would be contacted before any next steps were taken. Rather than addressing the lack of communication or helping resolve the issue, the responses felt defensive and unhelpful. The interaction became increasingly uncomfortable. Eventually, he disengaged by walking away and keeping his distance, without resolving the situation or addressing my concerns directly. I asked if everything needed on our end had been completed, was told yes, and then I left. What should have been a simple conversation turned into a stressful and avoidable experience. I'm disappointed in how the situation was handled, particularly the lack of communication, professionalism, and awareness in handling both a damaged shipment and a customer concern. Weeks later they did not do the SGR like they said and she received no apology, no response from the store, no refund. Could have been charged the original shipping but didn't refund the over night for not coming on time. This was a disappointing experience and I now see it based on previous reviews. I should have known better to look first.

    I was referred to this location from another UPS location, and as I nervously walked to the counter…read morewith a list of 10 exact and unconventional shipping instructions for an insured item, I was pleasantly surprised that they not only had all of the materials, but also worked with me to wrap it exactly as asked even adding suggestions based on their expertise...which was a process for both of us considering the instructions were given by a 3rd party. I received a shipping label so I cannot speak to the price or value, but I can say the process was pretty seamless. The ability to track my package always gives me peace, and consistently friendly service, regardless of location is always a welcome bonus! Happy to say my delicate package arrived safely.

When I contacted the store to follow up, I received unhelpful and dismissive responses. To make matters worse, I have strong reasons to believe that one of the employees may have mishandled or even stolen my package, as there's no trace of it in the system after it was scanned at this location. This is not just a matter of inconvenience--it's a serious breach of trust. I expected professionalism and accountability, but instead, I'm left feeling frustrated and unheard. I would strongly caution others about using this location for shipping valuable items. UPS needs to investigate this situation immediately and ensure that customers' packages are safe and accounted for. I will not be going away. Verizon has opened an investigation and I have been in contact with UPS Corporate. Also in the works of finding out who the owner of this franchise is because the employees there yesterday were very unprofessional and disrespectful. I am going to loose $1000 because of this situation.
