Just left the UPS store here in mint Hill. The manager I'm guessing of the Store in the black jacket does not have the best customer service. Everyone else in the store seem to have great customer service. Also, please make sure that they give you every option before mailing your package because they will not tell you Upfront. Never fails to disappoint. The people (with the exception of the manger) have always been friendly and polite. There have been 4 times now that I needed something done, and I have been told by the management that they cant do it or that it is against UPS store policy. Then I go to the UPS store down the street and they do it with a smile. I've talked to people at the other store about my experience and they say there are no such rules or policies in place. On 09/20/2025 I emailed this location a return receipt ( as I have done on many of Occassion throughout the years) for a phone I was sending back to ATT. Subsequently the rep that assisted me with the return "according to the Owner of this location " put the incorrect label on my package. The Owner never offered me a resolution. I filed a claim with UPS and was told on 10/06/2025 that the claim was resolved as of 10/06/2025 and that the package went to AMAZON. I reach out to Amazon on 10/06/2025 to confirm the package was received, confirm what was in the package according to AMAZON it was Cat Toys. I reopened another claim with UPS and I am not hopeful. Now there is a loss/missing/stolen iPhone SE16 brand new gone and no resolution. I will be filing a report with my local police station with all documentation I have received. this was a $600.00 error to be as dismissive as the owner was is unfathomable and disheartening. Please be careful returning expensive items to this location as it may turn up missing / stolen. read more

Don't ship packages from here if you want them to be on time. We dropped a package off Saturday at 10:00am. It sat in the store until Monday night, which is when it was supposed to be arriving in CA. My bad though, because this isn't the first time we've dropped something off at this location and it sits in the store for a day or two before making it on the UPS truck. Doesn't matter what day either. We dropped thing off in the AM and early afternoon, weekday or weekend. Did you pay for overnight shipping? Good luck, it will arrive overnight from whatever day they decide to actually give the UPS driver your package. read more

They produce quality products such as business cards, fliers, handouts, posters and banners in a very reasonable time frame. I never have to wait long to pick up my projects, as they are adequately staffed each time that I've been there (which is A LOT). I have been using this store for the 3 years I have lived in the area. Today I went in to mail a package. When they told me the charge , I was appalled at the price. It was more that double what I " thought" they had told me. I am an older adult with a hearing problem and told them that I did not hear correctly what was told to me and apologized, but I would need to cancel my order. I was told that was not possible. I asked to speak to the manager, who was rude from the beginning and offered no acceptable solutions. Reluctantly, she took the shipping charges off, but said I had to pay the 12.58 charge for the small box, which I did. I called and spoke to the owner about what happened, explained that I was a store owner for 25 years and knew how important customer service is and hoped he would rectify this situation. He was adamant that I had to pay for the box because I had been told that initially even though he was aware that I did not " hear" or understand the situation. As a former retail store owner, I would never have been willing to lose and offend a good customer over something like this. The owner was equally as uncooperative and rude as the manager. Would never recommend this UPS Store to anyone. Had an awful experience. I've come here all the time to ship and return packages that were predominantly over 100lbs until I had to ship out a suitcase that weighed around 165lbs to my son in college. I called the store beforehand to make sure they take that large of a suitcase, I remember the worker answering the phone which was the same person who helped me when I got there. They proceed to tell me for a package this large it would be around $500 and I just wanted to know why it was that expensive and and The short girl who was at the register also fairly young had the absolute worst attitude and customer service, constantly rolling her eyes and muttering words under her breath in front of me. She couldn't give me a straight forward answer to my question so I ended up going to a different UPS store that offered to ship it out for around $300. Don't go here! Sent seven amazing photos to be printed and they edited those photos then printed them. I asked why they looked so different and they admitted to changing it. Pictures are fuzzy and not worthy of being hung on the wall. Waste of my money and didn't seem to care that I was dissatisfied. I've used this store several times and the staff here are very friendly and helpful. A lot of times when you hit a fedex or kinkos there is almost a mood of despair hanging over the employees heads as if they would rather to be anywhere except where they are. Not so much at this location. Everyone seems pretty peppy and willing to help you out with getting whatever it is shipped to wherever it is you are sending said package. The only way they could improve their service at this location would be to utilize the computer system to store shipping information. I've been to other locations where, as a repeat customer who ships to the same addresses over and over, they are able to pull up where I am sending a package and just point and click my label. Could be a little more convenient here but all in all its a wonderful store to use. read more

Tried shipping an item to my husband in Afghanistan from this Mint Hill location but an employee and her manager advised me several times that it wasn't possible to ship. They instructed me that I had to use the post office due to customs forms that needed to be filled out. I tried explaining to them that I've used UPS several times to ship packages to Afghanistan and even showed them emails on my phone as proof. Left the store very disappointed. Ended up having to drive to another location miles away off WT Harris that I've used previously and shipped the item with no fuss. Was in/out in 10 mins or less. They filled out the customs form electronically for me plus gave me an email confirmation. Kudos to this location! read more

Altho extremely convenient, I would never use this UPS Store again and urge others not to either. My experience is with the "manager" who hasn't a clue about customer service. She is rude, not at all helpful and downright nasty. There were only two customers in the store and I have an badly injured knee making it difficult to stand for any length of time. While I had to step away from the service desk to process a return on my phone she instructed me to go to the table behind the service area. Again, there were only two patrons in the store and no one in the area I was in. There were two empty chairs in the area I was at and I sat in one. She immediately told me to get up and stand at the table and not sit in the "Managers chair". I indicated there was no one in chair and I had an badly injured knee causing me pain. She indicated I was not to sit in the chair and must stand at the table to do my business. I asked if I could move the chair to the table which was right next to where I was sitting. She said "No." There was another chair there with no one in it and I asked if I could use that chair.."No. You must stand at the table like I told yoy." "But no one is using either of these chairs and the store is almost empty and I have an injured leg." (it was a slow Sunday afternoon). She said an emphatic "No." I could not believe it. There was absolutely no need for this treatment. I am an older adult and she showed no respect for me or my condition. She told me I would have to leave after I uttered quietly to myself the name of a female dog. Terrible terrible person..I went on several review sites and see many many other negative and similar reviews. I will be contacting other sites to express my dissatisfaction, the owner as well as UPS to lodge a formal complaint. I went here today and I was completely amazed with the excellent service. I have never shipped anything through UPS and had no idea what I was doing or what would be the best shipping method for my item . The lady that helped me out explain to me very well the cost , when it would arrive including the box. Another lady that was gathering my information double check everything to make sure everything was correct and even wrote down information for me . Since I had a hard time seeing without my glasses I have nothing but good things to say about the place . This UPS store is an amazing store! The girls there are very kind and friendly and will do anything to make your package arrives safely! Most of the time they have a line here, BUT they help everyone here very quickly. All the girls work very well together and are so sweet. They clearly are very invested in anything you want to do, whether it be printing or shipping. They are very thorough with everything they do and make sure it's exactly what you want and perfect. My sister sent me my mom's china as a Christmas present. She wrapped everything extremely well, but along the way a box must have been dropped because it was open when I received it and five plates were destroyed. I called the number that the staff at the Mint Hill UPS store had conveniently put on a sticker on the box and they walked me through what they needed to make a claim. They didn't actually tell me all the photos that UPS needed (UPS corporate wrote me a day later), but they were very close. The staff were very helpful even though I wasn't a great customer. I've had issues with insurance claims in the past, and I was taking this out on them. But less than a week later I had word that my claim was approved! It was very easy and everything worked out well. The damage definitely was not due to anything that the staff at this store did and they tried very hard to help me. They were very patient while I went a little off my rocker (my mom's china is discontinued, so finding replacement dishes was a challenge). read more

This team is amazing. I've used UPS Mint Hill for over 2 years for our small business needs and for an annual fundraiser that I run each year. For starters, this team is extremely personable and I am always greeted with a smile! The best thing about this store is their ability to work 2 steps ahead...I cannot tell you how many times they have called me up about a file that I emailed alerting me to the fact that "what I want" might not make for the best finished product. They take the time to explain why/how a certain paper or file size might affect my final product. They have (numerous times) pinpointed issues that might have ended up costing our company hundreds of dollars.
