Today, I came into this UPS store as I have done for the last 4 years to pick up a package from Walmart.com. The owner had asked me for my I.D. as he normally does (every time for the last 4 years). Expecting as it always was in the past that my maiden Vietnamese name is Dieu, and my naturalized American name is Don, but the last name and address is exactly the same, being Nguyen as the surname and the address IDENTICAL on my California Driver's license. So what's the big deal this time? He then asked me for the last 4 digits of my UPS tracking number which I said no problem, I will pull it up on my Google Pixel smartphone right then and there. Then a line forms as it always does and he says he doesn't need it anymore. I tell him just give me a minute, and I will provide the UPS tracking number. He then begins to lecture me AGAIN about how my name doesn't match. I respond yet again that my naturalized citizenship name Don is on ALL my pertinent IDs and even U.S. passport, but my Amazon and other shopping info names are on my original maiden First name. We get into an argument in front of forming long line, and he tells me I should go to another UPS store. So I will. Just changed my UPS pickup location to a different store. I told him that he should take a look at his Google reviews, because they are accurately rated at 2.5 stars for a valid reason. Nobody needs to go through all this nonsense just to pick up their packages. I gave him an extra star because none of this was an issue for the last 4 years of picking up packages from this UPS store.

Most UPS stores have packaging tapes readily available. Even post office has tapes available as needed. I Normally will have my shipping package nicely seal before I head into a shipping store. This time, I had a question about the item that I was going to ship and didn't want to seal the package before I ask about the shipping question, and I was reluctant to bring tape because each place I've been to has tape available. As I finished with my question and asked for some tape. I was told next time, I need to tape my package before coming in. I was thinking to myself, is it that big of a deal to use their tape? How much does it cost? I was disappointed about their customer service.

That level of responsiveness already told me they care about their customers. When I went into the store, I was a little unsure about the notarization & apostle process, but the employee took the time to thoroughly explain everything and walked me through the entire process step-by-step to make sure I submitted my documents correctly. They were patient, professional, and made something that felt confusing incredibly simple. Even better, after submitting the documents, I had everything processed and back to me within 48 hours. The whole experience was smooth, efficient, and stress-free. Excellent customer service, fast turnaround, and very knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend Postal Annex to anyone who needs notarization or shipping services. I'll definitely be coming back!

I've always loved this locations quick customer service…read more My visit on 9/24/25: ----LOCATION---- - Located in a plaza that has a Safeway, 24/7 CVS, Wells Fargo and small restaurants. - Located to the left of Wells Fargo - Lately there has been mentally ill/homeless people loitering and walking around the parking lot. BE MINDFUL OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS. I've witness a person verbally attacking a person minding their own business walking by them. - Plenty of parking but may need to park far due to Safeway's busy hours. ----CUSTOMER SERVICE---- - There were a few people a head of me in line, a worker was helping a customer with the copy machine and while that was going on... he helped me with a package that I needed scanned to be dropped off. - He was very kind and helpful to all the customers presently there - Another worker was helping a customer out with his mail ----COST/VALUE---- - I don't have anything to say regarding the cost of sending items/printing because every time I use UPS services, it's to ship out pre-paid labels that I did not purchase. ----REASONS FOR MY 5 STARS---- - The customer service that they have provided with Kindness & efficiency

Hi, this location has a very helpful friendly and knowledgeable staff however I have had two issues…read morewith damaged packaging and understand its not within policy to offer any type if goodwill solution other than not in policy for even a partial packaging refund depending on your shipping terms, etc.... One was a cracked monitor and the other was a damaged synthesizer. I think extra care needs to be considered before shipping these types of items anywhere, and just wanted to share this happened as an fyi. My best wishes to this location and hope management does see this as I am hoping they are interested to always hear feedback from their customers.
