I've never experienced such poor customer service. The self-service machines were down, which I understand--things happen. So I went to an employee for help with my Amazon returns. I had two separate items--a shirt and a pair of pants--each with its own return QR code. Instead of processing them separately, the employee placed both items into one bag with a single label. When I questioned this, explaining that they were two distinct returns with separate codes, he became immediately rude and dismissive. I was confused because that didn't seem correct, and it didn't match Amazon's return process. To make matters worse, when I later tried to cancel the return for one of the items, the system wouldn't allow it because it showed as already processed. This left me concerned that Amazon would only register one of the items as returned, potentially resulting in me being charged for the other item that I had intended to return properly. Overall, the experience was frustrating, confusing, and completely avoidable with better service and attention to detail. read more

I arrived at the store at 10am June 29th which was their posted opening time. I waited 15 mins & nobody showed up to open the store. At least a dozen people also stopped by with their packages while I waited also expecting the store to open at 10. I stopped back closer to noon on my way home & witnessed a manager fighting with a customer about purchasing tape to seal her package. It was an amazon return & she stated that it didn't state in her email that she needed to seal the box. She said she didn't bring a card with her to purchase tape. She asked him if she could just use some of the tape on his counter next to his register. He fought with her about it but eventually used his tape to seal the box for her. I will avoid using this store in the future based on the reliability of them being open & the lack of professionalism of the staff. read more

I sent a pkg off and left my phone on counter there were 2 employees that took my pkg I found out later I lost my phone I called them said not there I was in full panic this was a new iPhone 16 pro max got for $1200 after turning my car and home upside down I used the Apple find my phone app it said it was at ups I spent 1/2 hr looking and having a employee help me as it said it was there no luck I said I'll file a police report and come back later after closing they said they found it so next day I return to get my phone I asked where did you find it and they said it was in the general area where I checked order I said I'd phone 56 times the ringer was on. Why couldn't we hear it? They said it must've been interference from their fax loud in there to hear it. The iPhone has a very loud beep when you have a lost and I can't believe that we heard it. It must've been hidden soundproof ringer turned off volume I told the manager, I can't believe it was just in general area and he said to call when the boy was there it when I was coached by the manager to say the same thing it was just in the general and I should just be happy to have my phone back. I'm 72. I freaked out for over four hours emotional distress over this. read more

I had multiple returns brought in. During the time of return the employee helping me was talking about clocking out and being done. He missed out on package under the same QR code and therefore my package was missed and returned to the wrong company. I lost $178 due to this error. I don't even understand how this can happen when the codes corresponded to each box I had. I went back to the store and they stated there was nothing they could do. read more

I waited my turn and submitted my fax. I was told it was busy and to wait. After 10 mins I asked if someone could check on my fax. The sales associate said it's still busy and continued to ring up customers. She could of tried to resend it after that amount of time. I called the fax number it was available. They won't tape your package closed for you; that's awful customer service. Instead, he charged me $4 for a new package, and then charged me $3 to print a shipping label. did not know where it is, was difficult to find...., no sign except for one in front....and it's colors kind of blend in with surroundings..., it is even located in the corner of other building.... so sign can't be seen unless you looking straight at it...., what kind of "genius" is in charge here?! abs why isn't UPS sales/marketing team looking at it...., oh that's because they don't care probably?! i went to Kinkos and asked them to point out UPS store...., they did!!!! this store is small but it has 4 copy machines.... and some room to move around..., i wish they had some kind if sign sticking out so it can be seen from the road when driving.... read more

Store Owner Tim McDonald helped me with shipping breastmilk to another state. He was incredibly helpful and knowledgable about shipping something so precious. He offered solutions to problems and wanted to help me ship in the most cost effective way that would ensure the breastmilk stayed frozen. I left and came back maybe four times due to rethinking what I was planning to do and he was so patient with me. Breastmilk made it intact! I went into The UPS Store in Maple Grove, MN to return a sweater to Amazon that did not fit my husband. I had tried to return it via Kohl's in Maple Grove, but it was right before Christmas and there was a line a mile long. The person at Kohl's was unable to load the return code and was clenching. I waited until after Christmas and went to the UPS store. I was expecting a 20-30 minute wait. I walked in and was immediately helped by Ethan. While trying to explain my last issue with Kohl's, Ethan scanned the item and said it was good to go! No charge, no wait, excellent customer service. When I called to acknowledge what a great experience I had, Tim (the manager) was pleased to know that I had a great experience and that Ethan was incredible. I had a delivery notification stating my package was delivered to my front door. I work from home, took me a few seconds to walk to my door and there was no package. I checked my back door and nothing. I also checked with my neighbors. Nothing, so I started a claim. I received a call from the Maple Grove location and the lady on the phone insisted in a absolutely rude manner, the driver left the package at my back door by the garage, even though the person noted it was left at my front door. The claim process is BS, I have to do the work and wait for an unspecified amount of time for the shipper to provide documents, so that I may one day be reimbursed. I was told to contact the shipper if I wanted the claim to be expedited? So I paid for a service that didn't happen and now I have to do the work to get reimbursed while still not receiving the original service I paid for? Am I also getting paid to do the leg work of the customer service agents??? read more

Perhaps because of the other reviews on here I was more aware of what to look for, but I found the place quite easily enough. I was about twenty minutes early for my fingerprinting appointment but they took me right away. The guy (Tim?) was joking around, putting me at ease with the process--which was REALLY fast. I was in and out and almost home again before my appointment time! You couldn't ask for nicer service than that. :) If I ever need an FBI background check again, I will be sure to come here for my prints. read more

I shipped a package from this location in June 16th. The package didn't arrive to recipients. Suffice to say I have spent the last 4 weeks calling both UPS corporate, and UPS Maple Grove attempting to track the package and find out what happened to it. Eventually I learned that the package had apparently leaked, somewhere in transit, and UPS threw it out. Here are my complaints: I was never notified the package was deemed undeliverable. There are no pictures indicating the condition of the package. They just threw it out. I have been trying to submit a claim for the no longer existing package with the $200.00 insurance I placed on the package. I was just informed they denied the claim because they said it wasn't package appropriately. My issue is if they had a problem with the packaging the store from where I sent it should have indicated that. Full disclosure: I did package it myself. It was a in a purchased cardboard box with tons of bubble wrap and taped shut. Anyhow, the bottom line- I'm screwed. I have no recourse to prove it was properly packaged because the evidence is gone. They threw it out. So it is a he said/she said situation.... They claim the package "leaked" due to broken bottle because of poor packaging, and as a result was so damaged it had to be thrown. I say it was properly package and was mishandled-causing the damage- and then was thrown out. I think it is odd that there are no pictures. Can they really just toss something out?? Apparently so. They also do not have to pay any kind of claim because they say it happened due to improper packaging. I think it's ironic that they destroyed the evidence, and are refusing the claim based on the nonexistent evidence.... I have no recourse except for a Yelp review. The Maple Grove location, while offering to pay the $23.58 shipping (including additional insurance I purchased).. have been less than helpful. Again, I had to follow up with continual phone calls. Avoid UPS- they do not stand behind their customers! read more
