This is the worst UPS store I've ever been to. Everyone there always seems to have a bad attitude, especially the older lady who works weekday mornings. The first time I went, she told me I needed to have the label printed. I came back with the label printed, and then she said I needed a box that didn't have the product on it, even though it was the original box the item came in. I ended up spending $20 on a new box, and then she charged me $1 just to tape it. The second time I went in was also for a return. This time I came prepared with a plain box and a printed label, and they told me the box "wasn't sturdy enough" for them to ship. What does that even mean? A box is a box. I ended up going to a different UPS store, and they shipped it with no issues. read more

Well it's Saturday at 9AM. Store is not open. No signs of life. Now 9:30AM. Still not open. I think the other poor reviews of this location apparently are spot on. Poor customer service. I've come here because it's close to my house and every time I come to drop off a package or use the notary service they are either closed or their notary is "not in" that day. The UPS Store - entrance - Printing Services Near Me - Brooklyn Park, Minnesota

I dropped off several packages for a client with a multi-label barcode. When I presented the barcode I was told that I needed an individual barcode for every box. I had 20+ boxes. I called my client and she convinced the employee to try the single code. Their machine wouldn't scan the code so I suggested they try the number with the barcode in. He typed it and and instantly told me it was just "gibberish". Then looked at the screen again and said wait, what's this. Lol and behold all the labels showed up to be printed from the single barcode I had given them. Instead of apologizing for not knowing and giving me false info he just gave me attitude because it not how they do it. He proceeded to print the labels while I started bring in the packages. Every time I brought in an armful of packages he complained that they didn't have the room for all of them. He repeated it to me three times while giving me dirty looks and attitude. The employees here are not knowledgeable about how their system works and are under trained. Then instead of being thankful to have learned something new and/or apologizing they were rude and disrespectful. I will never go back to this store. read more

I avoid going to this UPS location because of one rude employee, I believe she is the manager. I've had her "scold" me a few times about issues with packaging and it usually involves Amazon returns. Here's a hint to anyone that would rather go to another UPS store, go to the UPS Customer Center at 8501 Valley Forge Ln, Maple Grove. The clerks are always friendly, helpful and accommodating and it's not that far out of the way. (Plus the employees aren't standing outside of the store smoking!) read more

I believe it's the owner managing the desk, her attitude and customer service are beyond disrespectful. I came in 2 times but never again. The first time I went to return a router to my cable company-she literally turned the box upside down and dumped the item onto the counter... I am financially responsible to return in the condition it was received. No apology, she then grunted, "you take the box with you I don't want it". The second time, they accepted an online copy order, even though the copier hadn't been working for about a week and had no idea when it would be repaired. There was no contact from the store to say there was a problem and when I went in to pick it up "another" very helpful young female employee was explaining that the copier was not working-when the owner comes over and starts loudly talking over her to say the same thing. She kept loudly saying that if I wanted to email her they could print it when it was working and then charge me when it was printed. I mentioned that I had already paid online and she then proceeds to raise her arms up and loudly said in front of a store full of customers, "whatever- I just can't with you-I am going to the bathroom". I have NO idea where all that came from. But I have honestly never had anyone behave that way. Ma'am you should be embarrassed... you were inexplainably rude and unprofessional, the only one you made look bad was yourself. You can keep the $2 and cancel my order. I walked into the store at 4pm trying to get something overnighted. I walked up to the counter and asked if they did overnight he with a rude tone said "your coming in here at 4pm on a Saturday and you think I'm going to be able to overnight something like come on" I was really surprised at this attitude when all I did was ask a question. I don't mail things often so not sure all that is offered and in what time frame. This store has a sign up that states it is a small owned business locally owned. At that point you really should have better customer service and professionalism. Or just manner would work too.... read more

I've worked in customer service and understood that people can be horrible. I understand that it can be unbearable dealing with the public. However, I also understand that if you can't keep your cool in these situations, you shouldn't be in customer service. My experience at the UPS store #1981 was truly beyond belief. The person working there needs help and to seek anger management. I was not rude to the lady, only trying to communicate through the situation. The cashier clearly did not have time to talk through the situation or to offer more assistance. She talked to me in such a way that it upset my daughter, she's 12. In the end, I kept my cool and handled my business. However, the next day it still wasn't sitting right with me. She was not only disrespectful to me but also to my daughter. I decided to call the store to file a complaint. I quickly found out that the cashier from the prior day was there and could hear me on the phone. The cashier continued her rampage while I was on the phone with the store manager. The store manager said nothing and did nothing. Meanwhile, the cashier has called me names and threaten me and my daughter.... "That fat bitch Can come back here...her and her daughter! I don't give a fuck!" The manager had zero reaction to the cashier calling me names or threatening me. I told her I could hear the things she was saying. The cashier responded with "I don't care". The manger on the phone still did nothing. I never even got the chance to explain why I was calling or what the issue was. I said to the manger she just threatened me. Her response, I told her to be quiet. I asked if anything was going to be done. The manger said she was not going to talk to her with customers in the store and me on the phone. So not only am I being cussed out over the phone, but she is doing it in front of other customers while being disrespectful to her manager. Again, the manager did nothing. No resolution to the situation and the cashier continues to work there. read more

This is my local UPS store. I've been going to this store for several years. Throughout the year I have seen nothing, but how terrible the customer service is at this store. From unprofessionalism to talking about how "dumb" customers are. Your associates are all of it. I am usually sidelined when I see these customers treated poorly, but this time it is me. These associates will make fun of customers in front of other customers. It starts as soon as you do not know what kind of service is offer. Nothing but attitude from not one, but all associates. The manager is actually the star of the show! The rating of this store truly reflects it's service. Never coming back even if its 2 miles away. On the side note. Cassandra is an employee who regularly deny help to certain guests. Information should be the first thing your willing to give. Not personal preference, and judgement. My package was addressed to a different name then on my Id. Although I wasn't aware that was a complication, I still got treated as though I should have. I don't spend hours a day in a ups store so I should be informed with information available. Not the pleasure that your coworkers get from denying certain guest. There is a task to complete, not pleasures to fulfill.. Anyone doing Business here as a (minority) please beware, and stick to the task at hand. Because that Lady is the one who suffers everyday.. we should recognize her misery and not allow her to share that with us. Freely caring about our day that we made time to have or that our ancestors built for us. I confirmed that it was, in fact, the lowest possible pricing option and was rudely responded to about the rate - and the person who "helped" me was the MANAGER! I only go to ups to send an occasional return to stores who are only online so I generally wouldn't care how the store looks or about the quality of service. However, this ups store had such a miserable employee today that it warranted a review. I wasn't certain about the store hours so i looked them up on yelp prior to running inside. I noticed the hours on the front door were different than posted online and mentioned that to the grump working. She responded "we don't yelp. We don't care about anything but our website." I've got news for you, lady: people look on google and yelp for a quick answer. I went in there tonight for their notary service that I saw advertised online. I waiting quite some time because the guy ahead of me had the wrong zip code on a package and the worker refused to look up the correct one for him. She said that he could look it up himself on his phone if he wanted. I looked it up for him on my phone. I finally was to the front of the line and I am told that the notary leaves at 5:00 pm each day. Why do they say they have notary service, when it is only available for part of the day. I was vastly disappointed in the service that I received there. read more

This is a warning to potential customers. These guys are okay for making copies or for buying office supplies. But you might want to think twice if you're thinking of renting a box. I had a box here for YEARS. I rented here strictly because of the location. The previous owner was fantastic, a great guy. The newer owner is horrible, with all the personality of a big, cold, rock. This guy should not have a job involving customer service. Last December one of his employees stole a $50 Walmart gift card out of one of my Christmas cards. Fortunately, the sender (my mom) kept the gift card receipt (with a number that can be traced). And fortunately, the employee was extremely stupid and went to the closest Walmart and redeemed the card in full view of a million security cameras. It was only 50 bucks but I kept on the case like a pitbull because this is supposed to be a federal crime...and because it seemed so darned easy to solve. To make a long story short, the Brooklyn Park police got involved, the employee admitted to the theft, and they were terminated. (The Brooklyn Park Police were great, by the way.) I don't blame the UPS Store for a dishonest employee. But I blame them for the way I was treated. The owner was rude, arrogant, didn't believe my allegations, and he stonewalled the entire effort to get to the bottom of the theft. After it was all over, the owner never apologized and he actually seemed angry at ME! I was extremely angry about the way I was treated and my wife went nuclear! Spend your time and money somewhere else! I'm no complainer, but my experience was unacceptable. So, this place needs to go! Worst customer service ever, including the staff to the manager. I've gone to previous ups stores before and have never experience anything like this one. I went to this location because it was close by and I had some paperwork to fax. Staff was rude, not understanding, and accusing me that I pointed at the number I wanted her to fax it to (which I didn't). She had fax the paperwork to my cellphone and when I told her it was wrong, she wanted to double charge me for sending it to the wrong and right place. Not understanding this because it was not my mistake, I wanted to talk to the manager. Manager came out from the back and was not at all helpful. He literally pointed the finger at me as if it was my fault, my mistake, and stated that they can't do anything about it. Sorry or not really sorry, but I didn't want to pay $15 to fax 5 pages to the right place. A customer behind me slaps some money down to pay for this making some rude comments and belittling me. Of course the staff jumps in and belittle me as well such as the stop making a scene look and stating "it's only $15," as if I can't afford it. I was angry when I left. I left having to pay double the price for bad service and feeling worthless and insulted. I could have just thrown the paperwork in an envelope with some stamps and gone to the post office. I've been to a LOT of UPS stores and this location ranks at the bottom. They are less then friendly. I was in the other day and a rather large man on a step ladder "greeted" me. I said hello and asked where to put the package as the counter was clutered with debris. He gestured and mumbled, reluctantly coming down the ladder. I thanked him multiple times. Giving him multiple opportunities to respond with the customary "you're welcome" but I got nothing. Not even a nod or a thanks or anything. I would point out to the owner of this store that YOU and your employees are NOT doing me a favor. I have paid good money to ship this item and you should be grateful to get the business. Obviously you aren't concerned about this or I would have had a different experience. I don't have to do business with you when there are soooo many UPS store that I can use. In case you are interested I ship an average of 10 packaged items a day M-F all year long. Want me to do the math for you? That's 2600 items a year. If memory serves you get $1.50 per item dropped off. That's $3900 that you wont be getting from me. read more

I go to this location because it's closer to my house. But after a few times of dealing with what seems to be the only worker there every time I go (went different times and different days just to see if I can catch a different worker other then the older caucasian lady. No luck, it was her every time I went in) first time she was rude to the customer in front of me. Didn't seem to want to help the customer with what she came in to do. Before that customer left, she asked the worker for corporates number Because of the service she received that day. The worker seemed a bit bothered but pointed they their number was on the receip. came my turn, the worker all of a sudden was nice to me and even told me to have a good day. I gave her a pass. The next few times I went back in however wasn't good. The same lady was rude, gave me attitude, didn't seem like she wanted to be there. One time I needed a letter notarized and as she was going back to get her stamper, she said out loud to her coworker "I wish people would stop coming here for me to stamp their sh*t" and they both proceeded to laugh. it shocked when I heard her. Anyway these are just a few complaints about this specific person and location. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A MINORITY because it sounds like most of the time she treats minorities as if they are dumb and do not understand her or think we can hear and speak English. Overpriced for mediocre work. First of all, I wanted color cardstock and they only have WHITE paper. I was in an urgent situation so I went with it. I had someone else pick up the order so it wasnt til a couple days later I saw that they charged me $30 for 15 cuts on 2 files that needed 1/4 cuts. Should have only been a total of 4 cuts (2 cuts per file), but they said the sheets weren't aligning properly so they had to cut them individually. It was 2 files with 8 sheets. How is it my fault that your printer is inconsistent?! Also charged an extra $0.50 for Cardstock, which was a complete shock to me. I called the store and corporate to try and resolve but they see no need to rectify this situation. So the least I can do is warn everyone else. Save yourself the unprofessionalism and cost...go to the one on Shingle Creek in Brooklyn Center (#2108). Its not too far away from this one in distance but galaxies better in terms of quality, cost, and SERVICE. read more

I can't say enough about how above and beyond James and the staff at this UPS Store went to help me. This was a complicated shipping situation with the problem being on the selling merchant's end, and really a case where many business operators would have said "sorry mam...not our problem" - which would have been accurate. I went in there almost to the closing time and asked the staff if I can bring in some boxes, was told to bring them in and they wanted to stop me from bringing the rest that they are closed and have other things to do. They started insulting me, you're ridiculous and stupid,don't you know we close at 5.00 pm? we cannot take any more boxes. I told them, I only have 3 more boxes to go otherwise I can as well take everything you have scanned back. Then they scanned the rest of the boxes and gave me the receipt. As I was about to look at the receipt, they asked me to leave right now and will not allow me to check the receipt. I thanked them for the insult and will not come back for business at this location next time, the staff said, don't ever come back here and you will do me a favor for not coming back here. She almost pushed me out of the door as I was leaving and I told her she dare not touch me and I will make sure I make the report. She said she does not care. As I got to my car, I checked the receipt and one box is missing.This store has ridiculous employees that are mean to customers. I will not recommend this store to anyone. read more

to all customers thinking of doing any kind of business with this store don't bother take your money elsewhere! this by far is the worst experience i have ever had! i had a tv shipped to me by this store. mind you i could have went to many places but i choose to spend my money here. boy what a mistake!!! when i received my tv it was broken, and busted up, which i did pay extra for insurance just incase something like this would happen. it took many weeks for me to get a resolution from my claim which i had filed. james- the owner was so rude and heartless never even apologized to me as a customer, for my television being busted, and broken upon me receiving it. he was so hard to work with, and so heartless, and cold. i don't understand why he even works with people period! so after the claim was completed ups said that my mother the one who shipped the tv to me was at fault for not protecting the television enough when wrapping it to be shipped. regardless of me having insurance on it. so whats the point of paying for insurance??? please think twice about where you spend you money! these people are iinconsiderate, and heartless you will be better off going somewhere else. the owner feels that he can say and do anything he wants because he owns the place, but his behavior will only get him so far in life!!!!! read more
