Wow, I've been in here a lot and the staff is degrading. Karen is rude. I was looking at the QR code and waiting for her to scan it. When she didn't move, I looked up and she rudely says "um, customer packed." Ok Karen, I did not realize that or I would have packed it. I simply replied "I was mistaken" and instead of acknowledging it was an honest mistake, she just sat there. Customer service is your job. It is not hard to be polite. read more

I do a lot of online sales and this UPS location is my go-to location for all my packaging needs. The staff here is always especially courteous and helpful. Not to mention, the packaging services they offer is amazing. One particular staff member, Ana, does an incredible job boxing things up for me and because of that, I always get equally amazing feedback for my online sales. I did not have a good experience with this store. Wanted to ship something and was told it would cost $2.00 to print label on a single piece of paper to ship. Then was told by a teen with an attitude that I could have printed it at home which is true if I had a printer available. Then was told by who I think was the manager that I had the attitude problem. Funny enough, I went to the UPS store in Wheaton and it literally cost me $0 to ship what I needed shipped. Little bit of a drive but worth it so I don't have to deal with teenagers with bad manners. Excellent staff! Always there and offering to step out from behind the counter to help with whatever I need. Since moving to this area a year ago I've needed to pop into this location about a dozen times to do scanning, faxing and mailing packages. Every single time I was impressed with how friendly and helpful every single person there is. They are busy (because they're great!) but nobody ever has to wait long. This UPS store is a cut above the other UPS stores in the area because they actually do most of the outsourced printing for many of the other UPS stores. Jim, the owner, is in a networking group with me and I've seen the high quality and huge variety of his work many times since he's been a member. As an online business professional, who does mostly webinars and lots of public speaking, I don't need a ton of printing done. However, last week when I needed new business cards, I gave Jim a sample of my existing card. I only had the artwork for one side of the card and my logo. He said his graphics team could recreate the back of the card, trim off the corners so I could have rounded corners (they're prettier and more distinctive!), and get them to me quickly. Well, I'll admit, I dragged my feet on the order. But every time I responded to their emails, the next step was done super fast. I didn't expect to receive my cards this week, but at the meeting, Jim delivered my cards and they look fantastic! The print job is as good as any I've ever purchased anywhere locally or online - and far superior to the time I needed cards in a hurry long before I knew Jim and had cards done at FedEx Office. What a disaster those were. I was embarrassed to use them and after the event where I needed them, I threw away every last one. Since then I've been wary about using a local shipping store for printing. Not anymore! After this experience I'll never look for another printer again. Plus, it feels good to support a local business owner, who I personally know, rather than buying cards from some huge entity online where I'm not even a name and they couldn't give a hoot about me or my order. Jim's UPS store (and they own the UPS store in Naperville on 95th and Rte. 59, too) delivers high quality, fast turnaround times, and at a great (low) price. Plus the service is fantastic. read more

I had a package to be delivered next business day and I was not home to sign for the package instead of trying to redeliver the package the NEXT day the driver sent it to an annex about 2 hours away I will never use UPS again if I buy something and it can only be shipped through UPS I will not buy the item if I have to get an item replaced and it has to be shipped through the ups I will take the loss and not use UPS. This year when I ship out my Christmas packages to my family members all over the United States I will not be using UPS now This is Bs instead of paying extra to get my item the next day I paid extra just to have to wait 3-5days, if you feel like wasting money use the UPS. read more

This is a great UPS location next to some of my favorite spots. This strip mall has UPS, great tacos, a fabulous liquor store, and a jersey mikes... I usually stop here a few times a week because I can kill two birds with one stone. Fast service at this location and they hold my packages that are too risky to leave on my doorstep. If you ship USPS from here you can't get a receipt and it usually ships a day later than normal... not their fault because UPS isn't USPS. Just an FYI in the Amazon age where anything greater than 2 days is unacceptable! read more

Reading reviews I think they might be good for printing and business services, but they are an absolute joke for shipping. I had a package I needed to send to my sister in Montana by Christmas. It weighed like 17 pounds. I took it in here, and the next day price was $155!!!!! Two day was like $100, and the ground service was like $75!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The woman behind the counter said they could send it USPS, so I had her quote me a price... $61!!!!! Unreal. I took the package to the Post Office and they sent it via their 2-3 day for $24. That means that the UPS store is charging me $37 for the privilege of dropping my package at the post office. Scammers. Oh, and while I was there I needed something faxed. Only $5 for the first page! Wow, only $5 to make a call to an 800#? I could go buy my own freaking fax machine for about $30. read more

Great service, nice setting. I used the Lisle UPS store for a couple of jobs - faxing and shipping - and appreciated their top notch customer service. The store is clean with friendly music and super super helpful and chipper staff. I probably would have taken them for granted had I not also used the services of Fedex in Naperville on Ogden, which I had to use for late-night scanning. Completely depressing, the staff there are not hyped, which I consider an offshoot from the owner/management. The drab drabbiness at Fedex must be affecting how long it takes to get stuff done/purchased, and to get out the door. Not the case with the Lisle UPS. I even brought in a very hard to fit item to ship out. It didn't fit any standard box, so it cost more. The staff there - Julie (maybe?) - found a couple of ways to break down the cost. No pressure to go with them after the quote, which I found so refreshing. Yes, it cost $5 to fax a page. But I didn't have a fax machine. But the other services and prices were competitive for my situation. read more

I've lived in Lisle for almost a decade - I've been to pretty much every place in this strip mall, only I've had no reason to visit this UPS store until recently. I ordered a gift card online and somehow it ended up at this location. I got a call from the place and a female left a message that my package could be picked up at the UPS Store in Lisle - didn't include the address, so of course I had to call back and ask where exactly they were located, it didn't dawn on me it was in the same mall I frequent often. I went in on a Saturday afternoon. The two girls working here didn't seem to be entirely attentive - there was a small line of us waiting and it took longer than I cared to be in there, especially since it was warm outside, and the air conditioning in the place wasn't to my liking. The girl who waited on me seemed very unsure of what I had waiting for me, what she was doing, where I sign, etc. Maybe she was new? I don't know but not a confident worker at all...she didn't seek help either. The guy in front of me in line seemed to be having a similar issue. I told her 3 times - I have a package to pick up, I got a call from the store, and it's a gift card I ordered online. IF I have to use this store in the future to send something out, I hope I will have a better experience, otherwise the odds of something sent to this place for me will pretty low. read more

I've used this store for years for my once a month printing and scanning needs and they've always been strong on service and been very economical. I was overwhelmed, however, last Sunday when they let my son and I in on a day they are normally closed, and the owner and staff were so helpful! My son had an important school project to print and they really saved the day! Jim, the owner, was very helpful and I'm lucky to have such a great business here in the area to rely on when I need it. You will be very pleased at all the things they can do--they can even sell your old stuff for you on eBay and hand you the cash! It's a great local business. read more

She was deliberating holding my mail in the back separate from my mailbox, and yet told me to my face that I didn't have any mail. DO NOT USE THIS STORE! I recently picked up a package from your store location and I would like to know why I was assessed a 5$ pick up fee. I had my package rerouted to your store for security reasons and when I went to pick it up I was astonished to be told I had to pay a fee to pick it up. No where to my knowledge did it state online that I would be charged a fee for having my package sent to the store. I find it to be a deceptive business practice to charge someone a fee for picking up a package when it stated to be a 0$ charge. Had I known I would of been charged a fee I would of never had my package sent to your location. I feel I should be reimbursed the 5$ service fee. The store staff was nice and tried to explain to the best of there knowledge why I was being charged a fee. This review is towards the owners of the store not the employees working there. read more
