I had to return couple of Amazon packages, one been a large, heavy box. I grabbed a shopping cart that was at the parking lot and rolled these two boxes there. Of course it didn't fit throughout the door as the only way to put in the cart was sideways. This awesome UPS employee Andrew .. I want to say he jumped over the counter as soon as he saw me struggling to get the box inside the store ha ha ha, but I'm sure as a gentleman he was, he excused himself from the customer he was serving and went around d the counter to hold the door for me. Well that didn't work so he used his muscles to carry it inside. I'm not joking. Thank you Andrew for being kind and so serviceable. Those two qualities are hard to find these days. You made my day. Went here yesterday to drop off an Amazon return. I was the only customer and there were two young male workers wearing masks behind the counter. They were both polite and efficient however I was charged $1.28 for a poly bag for my Amazon return. I've never been charged when I do an Amazon return because UPS has always accepted returns and repackage them. I guess this is a new policy. read more

I want to thank the local store for helping me as much as they could with an issue that I faced with UPS. I felt sorry for them because they were not able to assist. This review is not of the store, but of UPS- the shipping company. Unfortunately, when one part of an organization provides poor service, it reflects on everyone that is affiliated with that organization. UPS (yes, the company, not the store) screwed up my delivery and did absolutely nothing to help. I spent almost $300 for special cards for the holidays to send to family and friends, and twice UPS did not deliver. Not only did the drivers claim that they made 3 attempts--which they did not, but twice they sent my package back to the sender for "non delivery". The second time, I specifically requested that the customer service agent to place a note in her file to the dispatch office to NOT send my package back, but to let me know where I could retrieve it. Low and behold, I call the next day and they were returning the package back to the sender. I have never experienced such incompetence as this. Fed Ex may be more expensive, but it's worth the cost if you can actually speak to a person, face to face, and have that person correct an error or an issue. For the local stores who are affiliated with UPS, I wish you all the luck. Maybe my experience is just a "one off" event. Nevertheless, UPS (the company) can count on me never using their service again. Cheers! read more

Attitude matters. Oftentimes we don't know whether a certain service level is acceptable or not until we have a chance to compare. I have to say; this particular store does not provide friendly service. It's like the customer is an inconvenience. If it were not so difficult to change my business address with my clients and all associated companies, I'd move to another UPS store. We initially chose this location to open our PO Box due to proximity to our home. I also help two friends with their PO Boxes at another location on Silverado / Bermuda and what a difference. No matter how busy they are, they greet the customers and honestly want to help you send your packages. Oh and the PO Box is cheaper there too. I can never understand, why be in a business like this if you don't enjoy dealing with people. If you are busy, that's even more important. Maybe making money because of the great location keeps the owner thinking they are doing a good job. But I'd bet if there was competing very close by, they would see a huge decline. Hire people that genuinely want to service customers. Or train and supervise them better. read more

This morning there were 9 customers in line and two employees. Waited close to 15 minutes while I was the 4th one in line. Not once did I see either employee smile, show emotion or display and kind of customer service. They both looked miserable and as if they disliked being there. When I stepped up to get a receipt for my two pre-paid packages - no eye contact, no greeting, no how can I help, no anything. Just a "next." Thank goodness I rarely use UPS. Sure the line is long. But, this is the "new normal" especially since Kohl's is closed for my Amazon returns. I've gone a handful of times to do my returns. If your box is packed up with label, you can go right in to drop off the box. I'd be sure to let the ppl in line know beforehand tho :) And for them to be THIS busy (and with frustrated clients, I'm sure), they're always still so polite and helpful. No rush. No pressure. And I appreciate that because, for me, that "lessens the stress" of everything that's going on right now. read more

I needed to unexpectedly ship something out and this is my local UPS store that's conveniently located across the street from my house. Stephanie was helping me and I told her I rarely ship things out, but I needed it overnight. She gave me some options and said let's see what is cheaper for you. The price was a bit high for overnight (ouch $70), but that's the price so no complaints it is what it is, but she said she saved me $30 bucks on shipping! She was super sweet and very thorough and made sure to check and double check she had the correct spelling of name and address. Other Comments: Due to COVID, only 2 people in the store at the time. When you wait outside, please stand 6 feet apart. Also be patient! The workers do wear masks and gloves and I would recommend that you wear a mask too. Let's keep us all safe! I also checked into Yelp to receive an additional $2 off. Overall great quick experience for my shipping needs ... I call it a success! read more

I've been coming to this UPS Store location for over 12 years, back to the days before Duni was a manager. The staff has always taken care of me and my family in a friendly and courteous manner. Stephanie, Carla and the rest of the staff continue to do a great job for us. Overall I couldn't be happier. It's always been a busy location, and with COVID-19 a lot of customers are already on edge and grumpy; so waiting in line outside the store for 45 minutes to pick up your mail seems to put some people over the edge. Yes, it's a pain - but it's not the staff's fault. They can't help that the person a few in front of you in line has transactions that take 10 times longer than your personal business will. From the annual craziness of the holidays to COVID-19 - the staff can't make everyone happy, although I've seen them try. They take care of a very large volume of people. They can't seem to catch a break - so if you're in line waiting and feel grumpy - lighten up a little! read more

This is hands down the very worst UPS Store I have ever been to in my life. I was on my way out of town and had pre-stamped packages to drop off (one UPS, one USPS) so I looked up the closest UPS Store and stopped by. First, there were probably 6 customers in there all crowded around with no clear line in sight. There were two employees who looked absolutely clueless, and nobody was greeting or even acknowledging anybody. I usually choose the UPS Store because of good service. Here, it was nonexistent. One dude was fiddling with either a printer or fax machine, then one girl was getting mail for another customer. She was SO SLOW, like she was such a bad employee that she wasn't even good enough to work for the post office (yeah, bad). Obviously had a very bad attitude as well. So I waited and waited. I figured, might as well stick it out at this point. After nearly 10 minutes (yes, TEN MINUTES) and these two clowns were STILL trying to figure out what they were doing with the same exact customers they were assisting when I walked in the door, I left in disgust and went to a better, more professionally run location. Oh, and after I saw miss surlybritches take packages / mail from the USPS bin and THROW THEM ON THE FLOOR, I decided it wasn't worth the risk to drop off my USPS package with them. I mean, it likely wouldn't ever reach its destination if they treated customers parcels like that. I'm shocked more items don't just "go missing" from this location. Avoid this place. This place is always busy but I have always been help with all my needs. This week I wanted to renew my passport so I got the copy's I needed printed the lady that was there to help me told me to go back because they do all the rest of the service (photos n mailing). I went Saturday around 12:40 they were busy, I waited in line and when I got up to the counter the snobby girl doesn't even ask how can she help. So I said 'hi I want to start the process to renew my passport' she said 'no' I thought she was joking. I said what do you mean no. I was told you can take pictures and help with sending it out. She turns to her neighbor Jay he said he don't do that here. Now I'm upset. I would understand if they said I'm sorry we are busy and can't do it at the moment. I would have waited. But they were just rude and had no customers service skills so I walked out. So my point is, have those employees trained cause they need it. No one else there has ever been rude like they were. So many issues with this location. I would never have used them after the first bad experience if it weren't for the convenience of their location. I have sent international mail from here TWICE that never made it to my family. They weighed and measured everything before I paid for postage and wanted to charge me a ridiculous amount for a tracking number so I refused and then conveniently the valuable package disappeared. I've never had any issues with USPS so there's no excuse for this. On top of that, this week I was second in line and the customer in front of me was taking a long time. At first I was patient because the girl working there seemed to be alone but then I heard at least 2 people laughing and having a conversation in the back. Unacceptable. As a manger of a 5 star business I can tell you that even if I'm on a break I cut that short if there are a lot of customers in our store. This location has been awful since the first time I used it and clearly isn't improving any time soon. Zero stars. AND I am currently missing a package that was dropped off at this location on Saturday and they tried to blame another carrier. That is now THREE missing items because of this location. Never using them again! I feel bad for the couple of nice employees I've dealt with there because this review doesn't reflect them. read more

The people were nice which is why I gave them 1 star. All other 4 stars were taken as they did a horrible job getting the items safely to my home. This company does not take care of what you are shipping. We spent over $350 dollars to ship 5 boxes and 3 out of 5 which had priceless 1970's paintings were damaged. The boxes were torn and you could visibly see the painting boxes had been smashed during shipping. I would recommend you using ANY other shipping company as you could get better results than we did with this shipping company. I will never use them again if at all possible. read more

Today I went into the UPS store to mail out a package. As I waited, in the store, for my item to be packed, I took notice, to whom I believe was the manager. I have never seen such horrible customer service. I watched as this woman came in without having a secured mask on her face. She had mentioned that she had a medical condition, and that she had to have a portion of the mask off her face. The manager told her that she could only help her if she went outside and stayed there. It was 110 degrees outside. The woman mentioned that she just wanted to be helped, and she felt like crying because of this. The manager showed no empathy whatsoever towards this woman, then got extremely aggressive and snarky towards this person. She then told her to put her mask on or leave, in a very threatening manner. I watched the next customer come in who wanted to do a notary. I could tell by listening in to the conversation that the customer didn't understand the rules and procedures for a notary. Instead of explaining to this woman, and being sympathetic, the manager, once again became extremely aggressive and snarky. It was like she was trying to start a fight with this customer. I've never seen anything like this before. I own my own business and I have been in customer service for 20+ years, and I have never seen a person behave like this. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable, and felt sorry for the women. I can't believe both of them stood there and cowered down to this lady. I don't remember her name, but I would describe her as slender, with brunette hair, around 22 years old and I'm pretty sure she was the manager. I won't be going back to this store. There are plenty of other locations I can go into that provide better customer service. Who wants to go into a business just to get verbally abused? It's ridiculous. read more

We needed to get a document notarized for insurance purposes. After doing a Yelp search, this was the closest location to us. Quick and easy. We signed the document. The employee signed and stamped the document. Paid the $10 and in less than 5 minutes we were done. If we ever need to get anything notarized in the future, we know where to go. P.S. I paid an annual fee for a mailbox and have Amazon packages and that type of thing sent there. I am used to having a 15 or 20 minute wait and figure that's the price I have to pay to have packages delivered securely. What burns me is being nickeled and dimed on top of what they charge. Most recently, a package came to my box in the name of one of my companies and they want to charge me $100 bucks to give me the package. SO, if you are okay with poor service and excessive charges, this is the place for you!!! read more
