Pros: * there's an older gentleman here that I've seen a few times. I believe he's the owner. He's helped me ship an item via fed ex and even helped me cut down the box to the correct size, and securely packed it with packing peanuts. * it's conveniently located near Albertsons and residential areas, so if you need to mail out items you can easily drop off items here before grocery shopping to get your errands done quickly. Cons: as other have stated, the price is rather high. A few days ago my mom and I went to the post office located inside of the Sinclair's gas station on the corner of Windmill and Rainbow, but their printer was broken. We came over here as I've come before. It's closer and would have been way less busy than the Westridge USPS location on Russell. He charged us $28 for a priority envelope which would usually cost $7.95 at a regular USPS site. At this point we desperately needed to send the package so we just paid the cost. As a matter of convenience in driving distance and speed, it worked for us. This place will be awesome for you if you prepay your items through the mail company website and just need to drop off. read more

I can't express how awesome the staff is here. I went in to order a vinyl sign and it was made right away. It was done within 72 hours but there was issues with delivery due to the whole COVID thing happening. The owner was nice enough to keep in communication as to what's going on with my order. He definitely tried his best which is awesome! And then I came in to make a fax and they did their best to make sure it went through. I definitely appreciate this place so much! Pre-COVID we used to have all of our packages delivered to a private mailbox at Post Net. They accept deliveries for you and hold the items until you pick them up. It's better than a PO Box because PostNet can accept FedEx and UPS deliveries, including ones requiring a signature. You can also drop off USPS, UPS and FedEx packages for shipment. They offer notary services and document shredding as well. It's a small business and the owner knows us by name as we've had our mailbox for a few years now. If you're having problems with porch pirates and packages being stolen from your doorstep, this is a great option! read more

Place was super empty and now I know why. My GPS accidentally took me here and I assumed it was a chain so I went in just to print up a piece of paper. No color not even a full page. Nothing special Just black ink one sheet piece of paper. At the post net I usually go to it's like 45-55 cents can't remember but it's realistic. Went to Post Net S Houghton location. I had out of town family shipping package back home. They had 1 picture 50×36 a smaller picture that was framed going to Seattle. One large package to Colorado and one package with 6 waters gobblers about 150 yrs old ( family heirloom). David Lute (owner) took great care in packing each box and providing the best shipping price possible. They were shipped out On a Monday and everyone review thier package in perfect condition. We had a large order that took time, but he greeted everyone who walked in the door. If it was a quick request he helped them. He didn't make anyone wait. Great customer service. Another employee came in to assist and service was smooth sailing. Thus post Net will be my go to for my shipping. Great job David. read more

You can find PostNet in the Albertsons shopping center, located on the southeast corner of Warm Springs and Rainbow. We just stopped by here because we just needed to print up a document to get notarized at the Wells Fargo across the street. So, we literally just needed to pop in and print up a single sheet document. The place is small, but clean. They had two employees taking care of the line that was forming(surprisingly). There was a computer against a side wall, we just jumped on, printed our document and got in line. It was fairly quick and painless. This single sheet of paper cost us $1.99! No screaming deal, but it was at least quick and convenient given the circumstances. If the opportunity arises, I may use them again but I don't necessarily see myself going out of my way to do so. I don't understand the low star ratings. I've been a consistent customer here for the past year and had NEVER had any issues. In fact, I ALWAYS get Great service here! The owner, Jim, is very professional, personable, and does his work fast. He always greets me and others when we walk in, and he's made a point to remember me and my son so we don't have to remind him which box number we have. (I'm sure he does that to others as well.) There are many times he would see me walking in and he would get the keys to open up my mailbox and/or get my package so as soon as I walk up to the counter, he's already have it in his hands to hand it to me. I've mailed packages here and his prices are very comparable to other places, such as the UPS store at Office Depot, which I have to take a number and there's no small talk of any kind! I have never seen him be rude or overcharge a customer. I find him to be quite helpful, honest and diligent. This is why I continue to go here for all of my postal needs. He's usually the only one at the store, so if there's a few customers in there, of course it's going to take a minute! Jim gives each one of his customer A+ personal service. He's not one to just take your money and go on to the next customer...he TALKS with you and cares! Keep doing what you're doing Jim at Post Net! I love it here! read more

I just started selling on mercari and I made my first sale for $8. I don't have a printer so I went to PostNet to print the label because it's right by my house. The owner is very nice and I do understand it's a business but he printed out the label and then I asked him how much and he charged me $2 to print a stinking label. I should have asked first because Office Depot only charges me like $0.16. There went $2 off my $8 profit. I guess the moral to this story is ask how much something is before you get it. read more

Avoid this place like the plague! I tried sending an international package out for Christmas.. they charged almost $200 to send it. I paid it because I needed the package to get there (painful but I did it). After 3 weeks of the package not arriving I followed up daily to find out where it was or at least to obtain SOME information on it. I kept getting the same response "I have to check with the USPS office" never an update or a call back as promised. After a month and a half I asked for my money back since I paid for a service and didn't receive that service. The response given by the owner "well if I pay you back then I lose money because USPS won't pay me back" WTF?!?!?! Not my problem. Come to find, the package never even left Las Vegas!!!! BEWARE: all he does is take your package to the USPS office. Drive the extra mile or two to an actual USPS office- you actually get a tracking number AND it's a third of the price. Prices are ridiculous. The holidays can be pricey enough then to loose money and have added stress is not necessary. read more

Aside from being a TOTAL RIPOFF, they are dishonest. I dropped a prepaid package off to be returned and I kept tracking it to see where it was. I was worried because it was a high end item I was returning. It kept showing up as ready for pick by UPS for 3 days! I finally went to the store and asked the owner if UPS picks up everyday and he said they do. So then I asked him how come my package still hasn't been picked up then and he was all confused, went to the back and got his UPS box to show me it was empty. He was telling me that everything was picked up so I asked him why the status of my package was showing it to be still in the store. He had no answers. I asked him what I should do, still no answer. He told me to wait another day (4 days after I drop the package off) and see if it registers in the system. I walked out and called UPS customer service. Once I got through to someone, I gave him my tracking number and he looked it up and told me that was entered into their system for pick up 6 minutes ago!!!! Was this guy trying to not return my package??? Why is he only entering it into the system after I go there to ask him about it??? There is something EXTREMELY SHADY about all of this. I will NEVER go there again. They also try to charge you $39 for a USPS flat rate box that is supposed to be $21. When I asked an employee at the store why it was so much, she said because it's a convenience fee! I was about to laugh in her face. I understand a convenience fee of a few dollars but you're charging almost DOUBLE???! This business is a JOKE. Take my advice and don't ever do business there. read more

I mailed out two envelopes each had 2 Tupperware brochures in them. I told him I wanted regular mail. He came back and charged me $19 and told me I had to send them priority mail first class because of the size of the envelope. I told him that I have mailed my brochures before at the post office and I had a choice as to how they were mailed and it only cost about 3 dollars per envelope. I came into post net to drop off an envelope to mail. The owner was very friendly and very helpful. He went above and beyond what he needed to do to help me. After about a 5 min conversion with him telling him my problems coming up with anymore money to purchase stamps to send to my son who is in prison. He handed me a book of stamps to help me to continue to be able to send my son letters. That was just about one if the nicest things anyone had done for me in a long time. There is still good people in this world that care. This experience at post net really made my heart smile. Not only was the owner very helpful but so was the other man working with him. First time I wasn't aware they charge more than USPS office, I told the man behind counter, who seems to be the owner, it's not a big deal I'll drop it off at USPS myself if rates differ. He was very unpleased and his response was "Do you expect me to do this for free? I have to make a living and charge you something." 3 weeks ago I emailed them a single piece of paper I needed printed and the young kid charged .30 cents (possibly a few cents more I don't recall exact)... fast forward to today and I printed another single page with 2 sentences written on it and the owner charged me $2.50.... HUH!? 2 dollars and 50 cents for a piece of paper that took him 30 seconds to assist me with. When I mentioned it was .30 not long ago his response was "I've been the owner for 11 years I've never charged that"....I am all for supporting a small business, but no thank you I will not be returning here. It seems like a common theme with these other comments. If you use their services for something small or to drop a package they want no part of it. WAKE UP call owner... just because a customer drops a package, buys 1 stamp or prints a single page and you don't make $$$ on it does not mean that your customer service skills should not apply. That same customer is probably the one (like myself) that uses your services and does send large packages on other visits... I hate leaving poor reviews like this.
