Convenient location for me. It's a very small store next to a Hawaiian food place by TJ side. It's crazy packed with packages everywhere during the holidays. Had me worried a bit but the guy working there was courteous and my package was safe. Hours are a little bit of a struggle for me that's why I mostly use another courier. read more

This morning I came in here to make some copies, the young guy sat down with me and send them to their email. I'm old school, completely lost, wouldn't have done it without this guy's help. Crazy Busy time of year and only one young man, Jeydin, working by himself, cheerfully and efficiently...I was so impressed by his can-do attitude and how quickly he got us through the packaging process. Especially with a line out the door and dozens of packages and customers he was handling all at once. Everyone had a smile on their face due to his efficiency and great attitude. I'm not a usual fan of UPS stores, but this one was quite pleasant. I was just doing my normal Amazon returns when this place had all their lights shut down. I figured it wasn't a big deal until they told me the power went out. Despite these set backs, they still took my package and was able to give me a drop off receipt. read more

This is my go to place. Its not always the quickest, but I can tell that they really want to help and are trying their best- which is all I ask for. The workers there, in all my experience there, have always been courteous, hardworking, and trying to their best to hurry while making sure things are packaged correctly. For COVID: Honestly I didn't even realize it but I returned two of my amazon packages without even touching anything in the store, plus there are actually markers to keep people apart. Not a good look. If you're training a new hire as a manager it's probably best to pause your training when customers are staring at you waiting to ship. The manager was forcing staff to stare at computer so she could finish her training while customer waits. Not good look at all- if I have to ask you to help me! Second trip! I went in to return a package to the sender. When I called to get the location and hours the gentleman that answered the phone was very helpful and friendly. When I got to the store as it was about to close the lady at the register quickly scanned in my package and was very friendly. This is my favorite UPS location in SoCal! I have been coming here for a while. Let me start with saying that Alex's customer service and attentiveness is outstanding!! She always welcomes me and anyone that enters the door with such a positive greeting. Martin is another employee that has excellent customer service!! He doesn't hesitate when it comes to helping anyone out!! Jared has always gone above and beyond, not just for me, but for every customer I've have ever seen him interact with. As a business owner everyone knows time is money. Well I had a heavy parcel I was supposed to return but the company didn't supply me with the right labels. I went to 2 different UPS stores and they gave me the run around. Like it said the parcel was heavy and it became very annoying to keep bringing it back and forth from my truck to the store and back. But that all changed when I visited the UPS store on Beach and Imperial. The owners were very kind and held on to my parcel while I had the company email them the shipping label. On top of that, I was ready to go on our family vacation so didn't want the extra stuff in my truck. I loved my experience and would come back anytime I need to use UPS. read more

I would give this ups location 0 stars if I could. I walked in to return my amazon package, that ups never came to pick up. It wasn't a big deal until the woman at the counter refused to take my package because there was no QR code on it, or label. I would have been able to provide her with the tracking ID, but she just said "this is corporate's problem" and denied me of service. I promptly called ups where I gave them my tracking ID when the customer service representative said "yes, you can drop it off at any of our UPS locations!" After a frustrating call, neither of the UPS employees, in store or over the phone, did anything. Way to go UPS. read more

Listen, I like UPS the company - just not THIS particular office. I haven't been there for years because of their $1 tape rule... if your box isn't sealed, they always wanted to charge you $1 for a 6-inch pull from their tape dispenser. And if you don't want to give them a buck? Then they offer to charge you $10 for a whole roll of tape that you could buy for maybe $2-3 somewhere else. EVERY OTHER SHIPPING CENTER I've used will seal the box for free. So because this sucked... I started carrying only a $100 bill into the store - and they never had enough change, so I always offered to "charge it" to a credit card instead, which they also refused (thus telling me it was going into their own pockets, not a legitimate UPS charge). Unable to collect their beer money from me, the waived the fee. While this felt like a momentary win eventually, I just took everything to FedEx instead. Today, I needed to go to this UPS office for an urgent shipment (a Covid test kit for my sick daughter in Paso Robles, because she couldn't find any sort of testing available up there) and this UPS office's cutoff was 5:45pm. I raced over and arrived at 5:40, but there was one customer in front of me and the truck was already outside. I was called to the counter at 5:43, with the driver of the truck still loading up boxes - BUT I was told that he needed to leave RIGHT AWAY and so my package could NOT be delivered Friday, the next day. I asked the woman behind the counter, "but your cut off is 5:45pm for ground deliveries - and Paso is a ground delivery - right?" Yes, but no, she said, apparently you need to drop off your package 30 minutes BEFORE the cut off time to make the cut off. And after 1 minute of trying to discuss it with her, the driver still in the office loading packages, she said she certainly would NOT be able to ship my package tonight (Thursday), which meant my sick daughter would not be able to take the Covid test until the following week. Thanks UPS - let me go back to FedEx again. read more

This place is great. The service is amazing. I'm always in and out in a jiffy. I like coming here because even when busy the workers know your time is valuable and are pretty quick. The place seems clean and organized. I will return again and again. It's a plus that I live super close by as well. I'm always shipping things and this stores so convenient. Best UPS store ever. Rico and the team here are amazing. They went above and beyond multiple times to take care of me, from notaries, to fingerprinting to any mailing needs. My brothers and sister in law also love the service here. There was one time when there was a power outage in the plaza and Rico and his team was still taking care of customers even with no power. They were able to take care of my fingerprinting needs that day which I needed ASAP. The whole staff is fast, courteous, and absolutely amazing! Thank you Rico and team! read more

I had a package delivered to this location and I was able to pick it up very easily, the young lady was very nice as well but after was told I'm not allowed to have boxes shipped to the UPS store at all. Thought this was very weird and the ups driver even came out of the store to tell me that as I was leaving. The only reason I had something shipped to this location which I have done at other locations was because it was closest and needed to be temperature controlled and was shipped overnight to ensure it was. I'll go back to the other locations that didn't give me any issuea over it. read more

What made this a terrific experience was that he was the only staffer there, and several customers came in just after we arrived.
